Whether it’s an intimate gathering or an extravagant weekend getaway, hosting a bachelorette party can be as exhilarating as it is challenging. This celebration serves as the bride-to-be’s final hoorah before tying the knot, and as the host, it’s your task to create an event that will be remembered for all the right reasons for the bride, herself, as well as all the guests of the shindig.
This article explores a few dos and don’ts that can help you navigate the bachelorette party planning process so you get the best results possible.
Do: Consult the Bride
This is something many people get wrong. While bachelorette surprises can be fun, it’s also crucial to consider the bride’s preferences for her bachelorette party before you get too far down the planning path. This special event should be tailored to the bride’s taste and comfort level rather than anyone else’s. As such, whether it’s a spa day, a weekend in Vegas, or a quiet dinner at her favorite restaurant, it’s best to choose a style of party that suits the vibe the bride is looking for.
Do: Plan Ahead
Of course, good planning is key to a successful event, and a bachelorette is no different. As soon as you know the party date (this is definitely a detail to confirm with the bride first!), start booking reservations, purchasing supplies, and sending out invitations. If the party involves travel, remind guests to arrange transportation and accommodations well in advance, or you can take care of that, too, and have everyone pitch in to cover costs before the event day arrives.
Do: Set a Budget
Another tip is to be clear about the budget from the start. Inform guests about the cost as soon as possible, and try to keep it reasonable to ensure everyone can comfortably participate. Consider costs for food, drinks, decorations, activities, and potential unexpected expenses when putting your budget together.
Do: Arrange for Entertainment
A good bachelorette party requires engaging entertainment. This could range from hiring a DJ or live band, playing party games, booking a dance class, bringing in tarot readers, or arranging a spa day for all the attendees to be pampered at.
You might even consider arranging a fireworks display for a touch of spectacle at the event. If so, remember to hire professionals to ensure a safe and spectacular show or get assistance from those you know who have created their own show at a private event before. You’ll want to ensure you purchase a variety of quality mortar fireworks and other products and that you can legally and safely let them off in the area where you plan to celebrate the bachelorette as a group.
Do: Keep Everyone Involved
Ensure all guests are involved and feel included in the activities. Plan games or icebreakers to help everyone mingle, especially if many guests don’t know each other well. It often helps to give everyone name tags for the event, or at least for the first component of it.
Do: Have a Plan B
Even the most meticulously planned events can encounter unexpected hiccups — inclement weather, a canceled reservation, or an unforeseen circumstance with the guest of honor herself. That’s why having a Plan B is essential. This doesn’t mean you need an entirely different party planned, but having some flexibility in your itinerary and a few backup options can save the day.
For instance, if you’re planning an outdoor activity, have an indoor one on standby in case of bad weather. If the party involves a firework display, have an alternative form of entertainment ready in case local regulations or other unforeseen issues prevent the show. Remember, adaptability is key to ensuring a successful and stress-free bachelorette party.
Don’t: Forget About Logistics
Even the best-planned party can fall apart if logistics are overlooked. Consider transportation, accommodations, and scheduling, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. If drinking is involved, arrange for designated drivers or rideshares.
Don’t: Overbook the Schedule
While having a lineup of fun activities is great, don’t jam-pack the schedule. Guests should have time to relax, chat, and savor the moment. This is especially crucial if the celebration spans an entire weekend.
Don’t: Neglect Food and Drinks
Always provide enough food and drinks for your guests. If the event will last several hours, consider arranging for meals or at least a few snack breaks. For drinks, try to cater to everyone’s preferences and provide non-alcoholic options in addition to alcoholic beverages.
Don’t: Disregard Safety
If your bachelorette party involves potentially risky activities (like fireworks or adventurous sports), safety should be your top priority. Hire professionals when necessary and ensure the activities are legal and safe. If drinking is involved, make sure everyone gets home safely.
Don’t: Stress Out
Lastly, while planning a bachelorette party can be stressful, remember that it’s supposed to be fun! The bride-to-be has entrusted you with organizing her last big celebration as a single woman. Enjoy the process and make beautiful memories together.
Remember, there’s no one-size-fits-all blueprint for the perfect bachelorette party. It’s about celebrating friendship and marking an important milestone in the bride’s life. As long as everyone’s having fun and the bride-to-be is happy, you’re guaranteed to host a successful bachelorette party.
I’ve always dreamt about my own wedding. I even have a very clear plan in my mind of the theme that it will have, the floral arrangements, the table arrangements, and even the music I want in the background. I’m sure I’m not the only one. Many women fantasize about their big day, and most importantly, about their wedding dresses. I’ve personally always been attracted by the boho chic style, as well as form-fitting gowns that feature delicate pearl inserts.
Pearl-studded wedding dresses are truly something to behold. They flow like soft waves and have a unique fragility to them. Below are my top 10 picks for wedding dresses with pearls:
1. Vintage Pearl-Studded Wedding Dress
Image: vintage wedding dress (Source: Pinterest)
Vintage wedding dresses have become very popular over the past few years and more and more brides are choosing vintage-inspired gowns for their big day. This is a classic pearl-studded model that comes with a beautiful wrist accessory that’s also pearl-embellished. In case you are planning your own wedding, you can also accessorize with some simple pearl earrings for a modern touch that will go hand in hand with this vintage dress.
2. Sophisticated Pearl-Studded Wedding Dress
Image: sophisticated pearl wedding dress (Source: Pinterest)
This is probably the epitome of sophisticated but it’s a wedding dress that looks fabulous. The bottom part is very simple and flows all over the body while the top part has middle-length sleeves and no cleavage is shown. The beautiful things about it are the small pearls that are all over the top, including on the sleeves, which offer this gown an even more precious look.
3. Off the Shoulder Pearl-Studded Wedding Dress
Image: off the shoulder pearl wedding dress (Source: Pinterest)
This is again a very bohemian-inspired wedding dress that leaves the shoulders completely bare and only covers the arms with two beautifully embroidered sleeves. The rest of the dress is simple yet elegant and gives off that mermaid tale impression. The entire gown is covered in small natural pearls which is why no other accessories are needed for it. This dress itself is a real jewel.
4. Carefree Pearl-Studded Wedding Dress
Image: carefree pearl wedding dress (Source: Pinterest)
Not all women like a very stiff and complex dress for their wedding day. There are some who prefer a much simpler design in which they can feel free of any care in the world. This dress is a perfect example of simple yet sophisticated, thanks to the countless pearls that are spread all over it. With only two thin straps at the top and a long, flowy bottom part, this gown is the obvious choice for those who don’t want corsets or harsh fabrics for their big day.
5. Glam Pearl-Studded Wedding Dress
Image: glam pearl wedding dress (Source: Pinterest)
Recently, everyone has begun adoring pearl-studded bridal gowns in all of their shapes and sizes. This is yet another example of a beautiful yet very simple such dress that is embellished with lots of tiny white pearls. The top part is very simple leaving all the attention to fall on the middle flower embroidery and on the pearls. The veil has lots of pearls too, completing the look perfectly.
6. Sheer Pearl-Studded Wedding Dress
Image: sheer pearl wedding dress (Source: Pinterest)
For those who feel brave enough, this type of sheer wedding gown is the best choice. Add some pearls into the mix and you get a truly one of a kind dress. It is completely covered in a sheer material that is embellished with small pearls, leaving a glimpse of the legs to be seen. Put on a nice bracelet and you’re ready for the wedding.
7. Simple Pearl-Studded Wedding Dress
Image: simple pearl wedding dress (Source: Pinterest)
One of the simplest yet very delicate wedding dresses that a future bride can possibly choose, this pearl-studded bridal gown certainly has a very discreet but gorgeous design. Pearls cover this otherwise basic white dress entirely giving it a whole new purpose and appearance. This is a very safe choice for a bride who loves pearls but is not very flamboyant.
8. Rustic Pearl-Studded Wedding Dress
Image: rustic pearl wedding dress (Source: Pinterest)
A perfect dress for someone who wants to feel closer to nature while still wearing an elegant and stunning wedding gown. Apart from being embellished with tiny pearls all over the top area, the bridal gown also has an ivory-colored ribbon that’s tied around the waist. This particular bride doesn’t even wear heels, so it’s perfectly fine to follow her example if you want to feel as comfortable as possible.
9. Delicate Pearl-Studded Wedding Dress
Image: delicate pearl wedding dress (Source: Pinterest)
The entire atmosphere that surrounds this wedding gown is created by that stunning white veil that almost covers the bride’s head. The top part of the dress is covered in a pearl embroidery as the lower part is very simple but very beautiful. A pair of delicate earrings are all you need should you choose to wear such a dress for your big day.
10. Princess-Like Pearl-Studded Wedding Dress
Image: princess pearl wedding dress (Source: Pinterest)
Finally, this is probably one of the wedding dresses that is the closest in resemblance to a real princess gown. Many future brides (not me, though :P) love these puffy designs because, while it looks gorgeous, it’s also comfortable to walk in. This pale pink bridal gown is completely studded with pearls over its entire surface, making it a bit heavier than usual. Still, it’s truly a fairytale dress, one that any bride would love to wear.
The Effect Of Color
Technology is a double-edged sword that certainly has its advantages, but also some negative fallouts—like an increase in technology-related health conditions. Part of this is incidental, but strange as it sounds, part of it is by design. The flicker rate of old televisions was designed with a specific purpose in mind.
Soon things became colorized, and here, too, an archetypal aspect of human psychology became affected. People are more interested in rich, visually satisfying hues. So Technicolor made an effort to provide this sought richness. But the truth is, no image, no film, and no technology can replicate the real thing.
Accordingly, when you’re choosing the color scheme of your wedding, you want it to reflect your passion for the occasion, and the longevity that will be associated with it. For extreme flavor, and longevity, honey has an archetypal quality. It is golden, it lasts perpetually, and it has a deep sweetness to it.
A honey gold is visually, aesthetically, and appropriately pleasing for many wedding ceremonies. This honeyed innovation is beginning to characterize more and more bridesmaid color schemes, as well as those which define other members in a given wedding party.
Dresses And Resources
You can find gold bridesmaid dresses & gold gowns | Azazie has in their offer. This hue will add a touch of glitz and glamour to your wedding since it’s a standout trend for bridesmaid dresses this year.
Speaking of bling, you’re going to need resources for your honeymoon after the ceremony. It is very important to have a memorable vacation with your new spouse. You need to be together, have an adventure, and take in the new reality you’ve become part of.
You’re going to have hard times, and you’re going to have grand times—that’s life. Amplification often defines the married situation—and this is a good thing. Both parties become stronger, more secure, and more dependable all around. Still, if you can avoid some of the hardships pertaining to money during the honeymoon, that’s a good idea.
One online solution to help you with your honeymoon is HoneyFund. This is a crowdfunding platform squarely aimed at assisting newlyweds in their honeymoon endeavors. It has been very successful, and is a perfect way for friends and family to show their support of your new marriage.
Fully Experiencing The Big Day
The truth is, even established couples will experience some adjustment in the new life, and that’s perfectly natural. Anticipating this, and preparing for it in a financial way through solutions like crowdfunding, can help defray unnecessary difficulties.
Something else you can do to increase the sweetness of your honeyed matrimony is to plan the ceremony out as far in advance as it’s feasible to. Additionally, you want to book vendors, get wardrobe squared away, source transportation, send out the invitations, and all those other necessary things as soon as you can.
This way you can get a better idea of the total cost, and defray a great deal of it. You can additionally increase the celebratory nature of the occasion. A wedding is something to remember, to cherish, and to experience. You are able to be more fully in the moment if you have the least amount of stress tickling the back of your mind.
So don’t let the bee stings of financial realities detract from the sweetness of your new life expansion. Plan in advance, look into creative funding solutions, and find the right color scheme to fully silhouette the final day.
Your wedding is a special day to spend with your spouse reaffirming your love for each other and committing to a lifelong partnership. You can celebrate it however, you feel it is most appropriate. If you are not the big grand wedding type and prefer a small intimate ceremony for close family and friends, there are a couple of Minnesota wedding venues that could work great for you.
Countryside lodges are the best place to escape the hustle and bustle of the cities and enjoy a small intimate wedding with your close family and friends. The drive away from the city can land you in a serene environment that combines the best of nature and a homey lodge where you can enjoy a quiet moment with the ones you love. In the land of a thousand lakes, there are plenty of lakeside lodges where you can have a lakeside wedding enjoying the lake breezes and the canopy of lush trees.
Exclusive Hotel Ballrooms and Domes
If you do not want to make the commitment of going too far out of town, there are plenty of hotels in the major cities where you can find exclusive rooms to hold your wedding reception. These hotels provide plenty of seating and affordable menus to ensure your guests are well entertained during your reception.
Small restaurants outside city limits
Stepping outside the city is the best way to find Minnesota wedding venues that are suitable for a small group. Just a couple mile drives outside of the city and you can find restaurants and small inns that specialize in hosting small and intimate wedding receptions. These restaurants can hold wedding parties with as little as fifty guests while making the event special and memorable. You can search for the small Inns and restaurants just outside the city limits for the best quotes for wedding ceremonies.
You can decide to take your small wedding party on a Yacht too. For a nautical themed wedding, a yacht is a perfect way to host a few guests away from the prying eyes of the public. You can ask for the yacht to be taken to a perfect little spot on the lake here you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding cities and towns. For the best experience, have a late afternoon to evening wedding when the city lights illuminate the horizon.

George Soros is sparing no expense for his September wedding to his third wife, Tamiko Bolton.
George Soros, 82, and his 41-year-old girlfriend have reportedly printed about 1,000 invitations for the “extremely color-coordinated” celebrations but have only sent out “several hundred” to family and friends.
Guests will be treated to several events in different locations, but won’t have to splash out on a gift for the couple, who got engaged last August.
The Daily News reports George Soros and Tamiko Bolton will only use vendors in and around New York City, where the wedding will be held.
“All the food will be farm-to-table and the flowers will be in-season flowers. They will not be shipped in from elsewhere,” a source told the Daily News.
And the celebrations are expected to have a strict color theme.
Tamiko Bolton’s wedding planner was spied meeting with assistants at the Openhouse Gallery on Mulberry St. two weeks ago, and watched models trying on different caterer clothing.
“It was a full-on runway show for the planner to decide on outfits for the staff to wear,” the insider said.
George Soros is sparing no expense for his September wedding to his third wife, Tamiko Bolton
George Soros and Tamiko Bolton, who met in the spring of 2008 and formally announced their engagement at a party at Soros’ summer mansion in Southampton last year, reportedly sent out only several hundred of the 1,000 invitations printed for their big day.
“The wedding will be attended by friends, family and colleagues from around the world, including George’s five children and the bride’s entire family,” the source told the Daily News.
“They will all come to New York and then other events, like the reception and a brunch, will be held at different locations around the city.”
Despite being treated to the best money can buy, the lucky guests won’t have to give the wealthy newlyweds a gift.
Instead guests have been asked to donate to either the National Dance Institute, the Harlem Children’s Zone, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the human rights group Global Witness.
This will be George Soros’s third marriage and the second for Tamiko Bolton, who was married briefly before.
George Soros has five children from his marriages to Annaliese Witschak, whom he split with in 1983, and Susan Weber Soros, who he divorced in 2005.
He rose to fame and fortune two decades ago on a now-historic trade, in which he took on the Bank of England and shrewdly wagered on a devaluation of the pound.
In 2011, George Soros, an active contributor to politically liberal causes, converted his hedge fund into a family office and stopped managing money for outside investors.
Tamiko Bolton, who once started an Internet-based dietary supplement business and is now running a web-based yoga education business, has a masters degree in business from the University of Miami.
Princess Madeleine of Sweden, the fourth in line to the throne, is set to marry US-British businessman Christopher O’Neill in a ceremony in Stockholm on Saturday.
Princess Madeleine, 30, has returned to the Swedish capital from New York, where she met Christopher O’Neill two years ago.
The ceremony is not expected to be as lavish as the wedding of her sister, Crown Princess Victoria, in 2010.
Sweden’s royal family, particularly Princess Victoria, enjoys wide support among members of the public.
Princess Madeleine, also known as the Duchess of Halsingland and Gastrikland, met Christopher O’Neill, 38, in New York while she was working for the non-profit organization, World Childhood Foundation.
The youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia has been keeping a low profile since moving to the US in 2010 after her engagement to a Swedish lawyer came to an abrupt end.
Princess Madeleine has also had a complicated relationship with the Swedish press, who dubbed her the “party princess” when she was spotted frequenting high-end Stockholm clubs in her early twenties.
Princess Madeleine of Sweden is set to marry US-British businessman Christopher O’Neill in a ceremony in Stockholm on Saturday
The couple will tie the knot in Stockholm’s Royal Chapel before a horse and carriage procession through the medieval old town of Gamla Stan.
Despite some 600 guests, the wedding is expected to be more low-key than her sister’s ceremony in 2010, when the whole of the Swedish capital was transformed for the celebrations.
“It won’t be anything like [Crown Princess] Victoria’s wedding. Firstly, because Madeleine is not a successor to the throne,” Roger Lundgren, the editor of a Swedish magazine about royalty told Associated Press news agency.
“Secondly, this is a private wedding – the king is paying for it himself,” he adds.
The royal guest list is said to include the UK’s Earl and Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward and Sophie, Princess Takamado of Japan and princes and princesses from Norway, Denmark, Greece, Luxembourg and Monaco.
The Royal Court said on Friday that Princess Madeleine’s wedding dress was made by Italian designer Valentino Garavani.
Her fiancé, who enjoys dual British-American citizenship, has declined a royal rank in Sweden which would have required him to become a Swedish citizen.
Princess Madeleine and Christopher O’Neill are expected to return to the US and continue working after the wedding.
Facebook founding president Sean Parker married singer-songwriter Alexandra Lenas in a lavish ceremony in California.
Photographed in the story-book forest surroundings of Big Sur, California, the $10 million wedding took place in front of 300 friends and family members and the theme has been compared by many to the HBO show, Game of Thrones.
The Internet entrepreneur, who is estimated to be worth $2 billion, is now officially hitched to the mother of his young daughter after his wedding at the swanky Ventana Inn & Spa.
The ceremony and reception featured opulent decorations including a ruin, a waterfall and long feast style tables.
“Forget what you heard about Sean Parker’s wedding,” friend John Perry Barlow tweeted following the ceremony.
“It [was] elegant, tasteful, and magical.”
They “have just been enormously generous to their friends. We are all very grateful”, he wrote.
Alexandra Lenas, 24, wore a dress that appears similar to Daenerys Targaryen from the Game of Thrones.
Sean Parker, 33, is believed to have shelled out $10 million to turn a boutique hotel into what looks like a movie set, equipped with outfits for guests designed by the costume designer for the Lord of the Rings movies.
One source told the New York Post that guests “entered down a long trail and came to a big gate and entered this other world in a forest there … They made the forest come alive”.
The ceremony was officiated by Unitarian Universalist minister John A. Buehrens.
The extensive guest list included Sting and his wife Trudie, Allison Williams, Emma Watson, Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, Perry and Etty Farrell and Lucian Grainge.
Jacqueline Laurita, from the Real Housewives of New Jersey, also attended the event and shared photographs of the lavish hotel on Twitter.
“Words cannot even describe how beautiful the wedding I went to yesterday was,” she gushed.
“Nothing like I’ve ever seen. I felt like I was in a fairy [tale].”
Sean Parker married Alexandra Lenas in Game of Thrones wedding ceremony in Big Sur
The political world was represented by California Attorney General Kamela Harris, Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom and Newark Mayor Cory Booker.
Alexandra Lenas’ gown was by Elie Saab, while Sean Parker, the couple’s infant daughter Winter Victoria and the guests were dressed by Academy Award-winning costume designer Ngila Dickson.
Designer Ken Fulk, caterer Paula LeDuc and designer Preston Bailey, who designed the flowers, all helped coordinate the massive affair. Mark Seliger was the photographer.
Guests enjoyed cake from Perfect Endings as well as music by Loreena McKennitt and The Good The Bad and The Ginger.
Sean Parker had previously denied the Game of Thrones theme on his Twitter account, but admitted they would be instructing guests on what to wear.
“Just because we don’t trust our guests to dress themselves properly doesn’t mean we want them to look like #GoT characters,” he wrote in April.
“Academy award winning costume designer Ngila Dickson is creating gorgeous, inspiring, and unique designs that are both modern and whimsical.”
Sean Parker hired a landscaping company to build fake ruins, waterfalls, man made ponds, bridges and a gated cottage in the surrounding woods at the hotel, sources told TMZ in April.
The venue included two terraces that are used for weddings, that offer “privacy and an uninterrupted 50-mile view of the Big Sur coastline to the south”, according to its website.
The Inn boasts its design is mean to “complement nature and encourage guests to experience the essence of romance”.
Residents in the California community have been less than thrilled with the attention Parker’s spectacle has attracted.
The California Coastal Commission reportedly was called in to investigate whether the inn had procured the proper permits for the wedding-related construction, the San Jose Mercury News reported.
“We’re pretty used to celebrities being in Big Sur. But for this one, they’ve basically built a movie set to have their wedding,” Stan Russell, head of the city’s chamber of commerce, told the paper.
Stan Russell said the construction will go away after the Saturday bash and expects the attention the town receives could actually help the wedding industry in the city.
“The wedding planners in Big Sur are planning ahead for 2014 already, because they’re booked. People want to come and see what all of the excitement’s about,” Stan Russell said.
Guests were expected to enter through a $600,000 gate, dance on a $350,000 floor and walk past more than $1 million worth of plants and flowers, the gossip website site.
The New York Post reported that the save-the-date cards for the June 1 wedding look like wizard scrolls.
“There is a chance the wedding could end up looking like an episode of Game of Thrones,” an insider told the Post.
Game of Thrones is a popular Medieval fantasy TV show on HBO that features knights and dragons and sorcery.
Sean Parker is worth an estimated $2 billion after becoming the founder of Napster and other tech start-ups and working with Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg during the early days of the social network.
The internet guru is most famous for his portrayal in the movie Social Network, which details the role he played in the beginnings of Facebook. Justin Timberlake played him in the Oscar-winning movie.
Sean Parker proposed to Alexandra Lenas, a singer-songwriter, in February, after she gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Winter Victoria Parker.
It appears Kim Kardashian and Kanye West plan to wed following the upcoming birth of their baby girl.
A source told RadarOnline.com on Friday that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have chosen a date for their nuptials and hope to wed in a seaside ceremony.
“Kim’s choice at the moment is a starlight ceremony in California’s Big Sur,” the insider confirmed just one day after Kanye West took to Twitter to post just one cryptic comment that reads: “June Eighteen.”

Other details offered include the revelation that Kim Kardashian, 32, intends to say her “I do’s” wearing an “ethereal white wedding dress” in a setting “where they can hear the waves and be married under the moon and stars”.
But fans shouldn’t expect an E! broadcast of the occasion, as Kanye West reportedly has requested that media be banned from the ceremony and the couple refrain from selling their wedding photos for profit.
The source confirmed: “Instead, Kanye says they should consider a donation to one of Kim’s charities like the Skin Cancer Foundation or Mattel Children’s Hospital in a deal around the wedding for a short film.”
Kim Kardashian remains eager to build a life with Kanye West, 35, but must first pass the hurdle of finalizing her divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries: “Now that Kim’s almost a free woman, she wants an immediate wedding – she wants to marry the father of her baby as soon as possible, but the birth must come first.”
The insider claims that the couple have discussed “marriage for a long time, so it’s not like Kanye is going to propose and they’ll get engaged – it’s been something they’ve been looking forward to for a while during the divorce.”
Kim Kardashian even has put together “a folder of houses she’s seen and all her recent scans and medical reports” to keep Kanye West involved in the pregnancy despite his busy schedule.
Michael Jordan married former model Yvette Prieto in Palm Beach, Florida, the former NBA champion’s manager Estee Portnoy said Sunday.
Newlyweds Michael Jordan, 50, and Yvette Prieto, 35, took their first spin around the dance floor as married couple at the Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Florida Saturday.
The wedding took place at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea with nearly 300 guests in attendance, including Tiger Woods, Patrick Ewing, Spike Lee and Ahmad Rashad.
The ceremony was followed by a reception at the luxurious private golf club designed by Jack Nicklaus. Michael Jordan owns a home near the course.
There were fireworks at night as part of the celebration.
In lieu of wedding gifts, donations were made to the James R. Jordan Foundation. The wedding flowers were donated to the Jupiter Medical Center.

Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto met five years ago and were engaged last December.
Yvette Prieto wore a French silk voile corseted sheer sheath gown by J’Aton Couture, in an ecru palette with accents of flesh tones, with handmade silk lace created especially for her, and enhanced with Swarovski crystals.
The gown featured French seamed crinoline borders, which cascaded into a dramatic cathedral train finished in the lace, with accents of a peacock-feathered design.
The newlyweds and their guests were entertained by DJ MC Lyte, singers K’Jon, Robin Thicke and Grammy-Award winner Usher and The Source, an 18-piece band.
Everyone enjoyed an all-white, seven-layer white rum wedding cake that was covered in white fondant and sugar crystals, and adorned with crystal brooches and the couples’ monogram on the top layer.
Guests sat at tables that were a continuous candle-lit landscape with a myriad of crystal candelabras and mercury glass vessels, each filled with one variety of white flower, including roses, peonies and tulips, and one accent of purple.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have decided to delay their wedding for a few months – because they can’t agree on the size of the bash.
Jennifer Aniston, 44, wants a bigger do – while Justin Theroux, 41, wants a smaller, intimate affair and they are now set to tie the knot at the end of the summer, rather than at a spring-time ceremony.
The couple were reportedly getting ready to say “I do” next month, but Jennifer Aniston has been busy producing her upcoming movie Call Me Crazy: A Five Film and had been forced to put all planning for her nuptials on hold.
When asked if she had picked her gown at the premiere of her Lifetime movie at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood last week, Jennifer Aniston said: “No, no, no.”

“I don’t have a dress. I like to be very spontaneous.”
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were engaged last summer, and since then, fans have been waiting with bated breath to see her walk down the aisle.
Sources close to Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux said they are expecting the wedding to be at the end of the summer, just before Labor Day Weekend.
Although it has been taking up so much of her time, Jennifer Aniston is proud to have worked on Call Me Crazy – a compilation of five short films focusing on mental illness. The actress insists the project tackles a subject that suffers from a negative perception and stigma that needs to be addressed.
Jennifer Aniston said: “Mental illness seemed to be [a topic] that a lot of us felt was an important one and touched a lot of our lives, a lot of our families lives. That seemed like one that needed attention because all of the stigma around it and the sort of shame around it.”
Kim Kardashian has only been divorced a few days ago, but she has revealed she is ready to tie the knot again.
Kim Kardashian, 32, who was famously married to NBA player Kris Humphries for just 72 days, said she would wed again during a special Kardashian family interview with Ryan Seacrest.
The revelations came during the hour-long special that promised to be a no-holds barred look at “a unique family with no filter” and saw Ryan Seacrest sit down for interviews with the different members of the famous Kardashian clan.
“I do think I would get married again,” Kim Kardashian, 32, said.

“That’s what I’ve always wanted. And just because you think you find it and you realize that’s not it, I think I was brave enough to realize that quickly and not waste time.
“I found what I really wanted. So I think I definitely do want that.”
“You can tell by the smile on her face,” said her 28-year-old sister Khloe Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian also claimed her boyfriend Kanye West – who did not appear on the special – was a big fan of the show.
Kanye West, 35, has been accused of being leaving Kim Kardashian to manage her pregnancy alone while he records a new album in Paris.
“He loves watching the show. He travels so much that it’s just not a reality for him to be there, and be on but he loves to watch it. He loves the whole experience.”
However, Kim Kardashian insisted she has held back from revealing too much about her private life since the Kris Humphries debacle, that was filmed for the show.
“I’ve changed a little bit on showing relationships,” the reality star said.
“I felt like I gave so much of myself publicly. And when you make mistakes it’s embarrassing. I’m going to be a mum, so I feel myself getting really protective.”
Meanwhile her older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, and her partner Scott Disick said they had no plans to wed immediately, despite having been together for almost seven years and having two kids together.
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” said Scott Disick.
“We’re decently happy. I feel like I used to want to get married more than she did.”
Scott Disick, 29, said he drew the line when Kourtney Kardashian, 34, began talking about having a “yoga” wedding.
But Kourtney Kardashian said that after 10 years they might tie the knot, while Scott Disick suggested 20 years.

Miley Cyrus’ relationship with Australian actor Liam Hemsworth has been on the rocks recently amid allegations of cheating and wild partying.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have decided to postpone their summer wedding
A source told Life & Style magazine: “They were supposed to get married in June.
“But there have been so many problems with them, they thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment.
“They aren’t ready. Their families are both concerned. They don’t want to see Miley and Liam get married and then get divorced. They’re very young to be getting married.”
Liam Hemsworth’s sister-in-law Elsa Pataky, who is married to his brother Chris, 29, confirmed on Monday that she is not sure if their wedding in still on.
Elsa Pataky said: “I don’t know. If they get married it would be nice to go.”
But the 23-year-old’s other brother Luke, 31, recently praised Miley Cyrus, 20, and said she is already part of their family.
Luke Hemsworth told Entertainment Weekly magazine: “She’s great. She loves our kids, and our kids absolutely love her. She won our hearts.
“I find her really interesting. I find her very articulate, and years in maturity above her age.
“But at the same time, she’s very much like Liam.
“I think a lot of people don’t realize that they are really, really in love. They actually are a perfect match in a lot of ways.”
