Judge William Adams of Aransas faced police investigation for viciously beating his daughter.

Judge William Adams from Aransas County, Texas, faced a police investigation today after his disabled daughter Hillary posted on YouTube a secretly-filmed video of her father beating her with a leather belt.

Hillary Adams took revenge on her father, Court-at-Law Judge William Adams saying: “It had happened before, and had been escalating. I set up a camera, and I caught it.“

Police Chief Tim Jayroe, of Rockport, Texas, said today that the probe was launched after members of the public contacted them after the film swept the Internet.

The footage was taken in 2004 when Hillary Adams was 16. She decided last week to make it public by uploading it on YouTube and it was then posted on Reddit.

Chief Tim Jayroe said he has not determined the identities of the people in the video nor whether any crimes were committed, according to Msnbc.

Judge William Adams responded to the tape this afternoon:

“It happened years ago.. I apologized. It’s not as bad as it looks on tape.”

The video was being examined by the District Attorney and previous controversial judgements Judge Adams made in cases involving children have come to light.

Hillary Adams, who suffers from cerebral palsy, was attacked because she was caught downloading music to the computer in her bedroom.

After delivering around ten powerful strikes across her legs and backside, Judge William Adams’ wife then grabs the belt from him to take over, at which point he walks out only to return moments later with another belt so he can continue the beating.

The video appears to be taken on a webcam set up in the bedroom and dates from 2004 but only became public last week on October 27.

The footage gained speed yesterday with the video trending on Twitter and being viewed 600,000 times on YouTube.

A Facebook page entitled Don’t Re-Elect Judge William Adams was set up yesterday and already has 6,000 followers.

Hillary Adams, now 23, has now tweeted that she was sorry she posted the video.

Hillary Adams wrote this afternoon: “I’m feeling some regret for publishing the video because to ruin my own father is heavy indeed. But I really want him to seek help.”

Judge William Adams’ daughter spoke to a local TV network by phone earlier today, saying she is safe, and decided now was the time because she was tired of being harassed by her father.

Hillary Adams said: “My father’s harassment was getting really bad, so I decided to finally publish the video that I had been sitting on for seven years.”

The young woman added that she decided to post the footage – which she’d been “holding onto until the right time” – after receiving “a barrage of harassment” in a phone call from her father.

From her Twitter account, Hillary Adams tweeted: “Please spread the word that my father needs professional help and not hatred. We can offer him the tools to be a better person.

“It is my wish that people stop threatening my father and start offering professional help. That is what he really needs.”

The seven-minute long video shows the girl beging her father to stop and Judge William Adams can be heard snarling: “Bend over the f***ing bed.

“Lay down or I’ll spank you in the F***ing face.”

Calls to Judge William Adams’ office in Texas went unanswered.

The police department confirmed it would be making an announcement shortly.

In a court judgement last October, Judge William Adams said that a child’s statements “amounted to no evidence” despite the fact his words had been confirmed by third party witnesses and recorded on video several times. The young person had also been interviewed by a child psychologist who believed the child.

According to Judge William Adams, all children are “fantasizers” and their testimony should just be ignored.

In news which has stunned the world, Justin Bieber is now at the centre of a paternity lawsuit which Mariah Yeater filed on October 31.

Mariah Yeater has asked Justin Bieber to submit to a paternity test, and a claim “to provide adequate support for my baby”, for the tryst which she allegedly lasted no longer than 30 seconds.

In a legal statement, sworn under penalty of perjury, Mariah Yeater told a California court that Justin Bieber propositioned her on October 25 of last year, when she was 19 and he was 17, after his concert at L.A.’s Staples Center.

According RadarOnline.com, Mariah Yeater told a judge: “When I later realized I was pregnant with Justin Bieber’s baby, I tried to contact him through his representatives but no one ever called me back.”

Mariah Yeater said: “On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber.

“Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby.”

Justin Bieber’s spokesperson has vehemently denied the allegations, and told RadarOnline.com:

“While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims.

“We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.”

Judge Stephanie Sautner of Los Angeles Superior Court ordered Lindsay Lohan to 53 days of community service at the county morgue and numerous sessions with a psychotherapist.

Judge Stephanie Sautner imposed strict conditions on Lindsay Lohan, telling her that she will now have to perform all of her community service at the morgue or risk serving an additional 270 days in jail.

Lindsay Lohan’s sentence will likely be shortened due to jail overcrowding.

The actress earlier arrived at the Los Angeles Superior Court Airport branch wearing a navy polka dot dress and Giuseppe Zanotti heels, stepping out of a blacked out Cadillac Escalade SUV to a barrage of flashbulbs.

Inside the court Lindsay Lohan admitted to violating her probation in theft and DUI cases by failing to show up at community-service appointments at a Los Angeles skid row women’s shelter.

Judge Stephanie Sautner revoked Lindsay Lohan’s probation at a hearing on October 19, when she lashed out at the actress, saying she had repeatedly violated the terms of her probation.

Lindsay Lohan was handcuffed in court and booked, but she was released a short time later on $100,000 bail pending today’s hearing.

According to Judge Stephanie Sautner, Lindsay Lohan missed nine appointments at the Downtown Women’s Shelter, where she had been ordered to perform community service.

In some cases, Lindsay Lohan left the shelter after about an hour even though she had been ordered to remain there for at least four hours each time.

The actress pleaded no contest May 11 to a misdemeanor grand theft charge involving a necklace priced at $2,500 that was taken from a Venice jewellery store.

Lindsay Lohan was placed on three years probation and ordered to spend 120 days in jail and complete the 480 hours of community service to which she had been previously sentenced for violating her probation in a 2007 misdemeanor DUI case.

She was ordered in May to have her 480 hours of community service completed by April 2012, with 360 hours at the women’s center and another 120 hours at the county morgue. As of the last court hearing, Lindsay Lohan had completed about 21 of the 360 hours at the skid row shelter for women, Judge Sautner said.

After revoking the Lindsay Lohan’s probation, Judge Stephanie Sautner ordered the actress to perform at least 16 hours of community service work at the county morgue before today’s hearing. That effort got off to a bad start when – the day after her probation was revoked – Lindsay Lohan showed up late and was turned away from the coroner’s office.

The actress showed up early the next day, and she has made additional trips to the facility since.

Lindsay Lohan blamed her initial tardiness on confusion over where to report and delays prompted by the crush of media waiting for her at the coroner’s office.

A 74-year-old man was beaten to death in a WalMart store in Lakewood neighbourhood in Long Beach, California, on Tuesday.

According to witnesses,the unidentified man was attacked by a homeless man with a baseball bat.

Los Angeles police says that the case is still under investigation and it appears to be unprovoked.

A 47-year-old homeless man was taken into custody by the Los Angeles sheriff’s department.

Neither men involved have been publicly named, and the only detail that police have released is that the beating took place in the sporting goods section of the store in Lakewood neighbourhood in Long Beach.

Lt. Eddie Hernandez said: “Witnesses have drawn the conclusion that the suspect is homeless. We haven’t confirmed that.

“The victim was in the sporting-goods section. The suspect approached him and started to attack him with a baseball bat, causing severe head trauma.”

Later reports said that the homeless man was asking shoppers for money and the elder man turned him down.

The homeless then picked up an aluminium bat from the sports section that he used to start beating the 74-year-old.

One shopper, Jennifer Thompson, was in the next aisle over when the attack occurred.

“Just think, somebody’s family is going to be home tonight and say <<My relative got beat up with a baseball bat in the sporting goods of WalMart>>. This was terrible,” the woman said.

“I heard no words, I just heard the noise,” Jennifer Thompson said.

“He must have been apparently hitting him with the bat.”

The investigation continues as police will try to gather information by looking through store security footage.

The 911 recording was presented yesterday to the court during Patrick A. Evans murder trial.

Patrick A. Evans, 44, a Fortune 500 executive with a six-figure salary, a private plane and a million-dollar waterfront home, faces the death penalty if convicted of the murders of Elizabeth K. Evans, 44, and her friend, Jerry B. Taylor, 43.

During the opening statement yesterday, Assistant State Attorney Christopher LaBruzzo told jurors about the unique and key piece of evidence that will persuade them to find Patrick A. Evans guilty.

Attorney Christopher LaBruzzo said: “Ladies and gentlemen, it is rare in cases in America where a murder is actually captured on a 911 call.”

On the night of 20 December, 2008, someone called 911 from Elizabeth Evans’ Gulfport condominium but did not hang up.

Attorney Christopher LaBruzzo said Patrick A. Evans arrived at the condominium with a handgun. On the tape, which will be played for the jury, Patrick A. Evans can be herad telling his estranged wife: “Sit on the bed.”

Her wife, Elizabeth K. Evans replies to him “no”. A third voice – of Jerry B. Taylor – says: “Put the gun down” before a gunshot is heard.

Attorney Christopher LaBruzzo told jurors: “Boom, you will hear a gunshot, a single shot, close range, striking Mr Taylor in the throat. Causing internal damage which ultimately resulted in his death.

Seeing hearing and witnessing this gunshot, Elizabeth Evans shouts, <<Are you out of your f***ing…>>. Boom, second shot.”

TampaBay.com reported Attorney Christopher LaBruzzo told the jury Elizabeth K. Evans and Patrick A. Evans had been having marital difficulties. Patrick A. Evans filed for divorce, changed his mind, then she filed for divorce.

As well as the recording police matched shell casing fired from Patrick A. Evans’ Glock handgun to those fired from the crime scene.

After the shootings, Patrick A. Evans was stopped by sheriff’s deputies and brought in for questioning.

A recording was made of that conversation, though it may not be played for the jury.

Patrick A. Evans’ defense attorney, David Parry, did not make an opening statement on Tuesday.

British researchers from Durham University have found a way of slowing down ageing in individual cells, which will be reflected in a future “forever young” pill.

Durham University scientists believe their work could help the elderly stay healthy well into their twilight years, as well as help children suffering from progeria, a rare condition that causes them to grow old before their time.

Professor Chris Hutchison said: “The findings are at a very early stage but they show the potential for helping people live more comfortable and less painful lives when they reach 70 or 80 years of age and beyond.”

Prof. Chris Hutchison used N-acetyl cysteine to slow the ageing of cells taken from children with Hutchinson Gilford Progeria Syndrome (HGPS).

Progeria is a rare genetic condition in which huge amounts of DNA damage cause cells to quickly age and die.

As a result, children rapidly grow old and frail before dying of “old age” between the age of eight and 21.

Hayley Okines was diagnosed in 1999 and her condition causes her to age eight times faster than the average person.

Some people have speculated that the author F. Scott Fitzgerald based his story The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button on HGPS.

Treating cells with a drug normally given to people who have taken paracetamol overdoses slowed down the ageing process, allowing them to grow normally.

The reasearchers hope that the drug, N-acetyl cysteine, can one day be used to treat HGPS, improving the quality of life for children.

It is also believed that, with many of the problems of HGPS, such as hardening of the arteries, stiffness of the joints and hip dislocations, also present in normal ageing, N-acetyl cysteine might have a much more general use.

While N-acetyl cysteine may not help people live longer, it could make a person’s later years more pleasant.

Prof. Chris Hutchison said: “Our findings could be an important step to helping both children with progeria and older people to live lives that are less debilitating in terms of health problems.”

Professor James Goodwin, of charity Age UK, said the research offers valuable insights into the ageing process.

Prof James Goodwin said: “Although it’s fantastic that people are living longer than ever, we know that on average men can expect to live 7.4 years and women 9 years at the end of their lives with a disability.

“To mitigate the years we spend in ill health, it is clear that one of the most promising areas of research centres on slowing down the ageing process and tackling age-related illness.”

The approach is not the only one that holds promise.

Last year, Ronald DePinho, a Harvard University doctor, made old mice young again.

At the start of the experiments, the animals’ skin, brains, guts and other organs were at a stage equivalent to those of an 80-year-old person.

Within just two months of being given a drug that switches on a key enzyme, the mice had grown so many new cells that they had almost completely rejuvenated.

Remarkably, the male mice went from being infertile to fathering large litters.

Speaking this summer at the Cheltenham Science Festival, Professor Linda Partridge, a University College London expert in the genetics of ageing, said that science is moving so quickly that people will soon take a daily pill from middle age to prevent many of the ills of old age.

However, Prof. Linda Partridge said that any drugs would have to be shown to be extremely safe before they were given to healthy people to combat ageing.

Dawn Wilcox, a veteran soldier from Killeen,Texas, is wheelchair bound after an injury while serving in the forces.

The woman says American Airlines flight stewards delayed her from getting off the plane to use the restroom.

When she then missed her connecting flight, Dawn Wilcox was forced to sit in urine-soaked clothes for hours, KWTX News reported.

Dawn Wilcox was flying home from a friend’s funeral in New York, when the incident happened.

Dawn Wilcox told MSNBC: “They landed and started letting people off.

“I said, <<Ma’am, I’m really about to go in my pants>>. I was almost in tears. They’d already let three quarters of the people off and it was too late, I’d already wet my pants.”

American Airlines says cabin crew offered her an on-board wheelchair with which she could have gone to the restroom. The airline also said Dawn Wilcox declined the offer as she wanted to use her own wheelchair which was stowed away in the hold.

But veteran Dawn Wilcox told MSNBC that she was not offered a wheelchair on board.

Dawn Wilcox said American Airlines did offer her a shower, but that she didn’t have any clean trousers to put on and was not given any.

American Airlines also offer her a food voucher and $100 credit towards another flight, she said.

American Airlines have now offered Dawn Wilcox a formal apology.

Mariah Yeater from California is said to have filed a lawsuit against Justin Bieber alleging he is the father of her three-month-old baby, Radaronline.com reported.

According to reports, Mariah Yeater, 20, is asking Justin Bieber to take a paternity test.

Justin Bieber, 17, is currently dating pop sweetheart Selena Gomez, 19.

Radaronline.com reports that Star magazine have obtained the court papers, which are said to have be filed late October, making the request.

The website also reported that Mariah Yeater asks for Justin Bieber “to provide adequate support for my baby”.

Mariah Yeater claims she had sex with Justin Bieber on October 25, 2010, when she was aged 19-years-old and he was aged 16-years-old out the time.

That would mean under California law that Justin Bieber was underage and if the claims turn out to be true Mariah Yeater would be guilty of statutory rape of a minor.

According to Radaronline.com a hand-signed affidavit has been reviewed and claiming that Mariah Yeater was invited backstage by bodyguards after Justin Bieber’s performance at the Los Angeles Staples centre.

The report said that after describing meeting Justin Bieber, Mariah Yeater wrote in the affidavit: “Immediately, it was obvious that we were mutually attracted to one another, and we began to kiss. Shortly thereafter, Justin Bieber suggested that I go with him to a private place where we could be alone.

“I agreed to go with him and on the walk to a private area, he told me he wanted to make love to me and this was going to be his first time.

“We went inside and immediately his personality changed drastically. He began touching me and repeatedly said he wanted to f*** the s*** out of me. At the time I asked him to put a condom for protection, but he insisted that he did not want to.

“In his own words, he said that because it was his first time he wanted to feel everything.”

Mariah Yeater is said to have described the intercourse as “brief”.

A court hearing is said to have been set for December 15.

According to TMZ, a spokesperson for Justin Bieber said: “While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims.”

Justin Bieber has been dating Selena Gomez since the end of 2010 but the couple waited until the Oscars in March to make their first public debut together.

Last month when Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were both in Winnipeg and they spent an amorous evening watching the basketball together and were seen smooching from a private box.

While Selena Gomez has been looking after Baylor, the dog is said to be both Selena and Justin’s and the couple are thought to have adopted the pup from an animal rescue centre in Winnipeg on October 14.

In February this year Justin Bieber, who is a Christian, spoke out about pre-marital sex in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine and said: “I don’t think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them.”

As his daughter begs him to stop judge William Adams can be heard snarling: “Bend over the F***ing bed.

“Lay down or I’ll spank you in the F***ing face.”

The horrific video appears to have been captured on a webcam and is said to date from 2004.

The footage was uploaded onto the Reddit website late last month by a person claiming to be the victim – judge William Adams’ daughter, Hillary.

Hillary is said to have suffered from ataxic cerebral palsy from birth and has a passion for technology. The girl is believed to have illegally downloaded the video game as well as music.

Hillary writes that she’d decided to post the footage – which she’d been “holding onto until the right time” – after receiving “a barrage of harassment” in a phone call from her father.

The title reads: “Family law judge beats own daughter for using the internet, please spread”.

In total the girl receives 20 hard lashes from judge William Adams and one from her mother.

The mother screams: “You turn over like a 16-year-old and take it like a grown woman.”

As the girl lies crying on her bed he shouts: “Do you want to put some more computer games on?

“Are you happy disobeying your parents?

“If I hear so much as you raising your f***ing voice to me or your mother with the wrong tone or do one little thing or you look at me f***ing wrong, I’m going to wear your f***ing a** out with this belt.”

Although it has not been confirmed that the man shown is Judge William Adams, several people have posted comments below the video claiming it is definitely him.

One post from a J. Andre Bardin, who claims to be one of Hillary’s friends, reads: “I know in the article you say you cannot confirm the man in the video is him, but I can. It’s him.

“That’s his voice, that’s his mannerisms, and that is his house.”

The pregnancy was not planned and the child, who has not been named, is now five weeks old.

Hugh Grant, 51, is not believed to have been present at the birth but he is said to have spent around half an hour with her the following day before heading to Scotland to play in a golf tournament.

According to some reports, Tinglan Hong, 32, gave birth on the afternoon of September 26.

The baby was delivered at the private Portland Hospital in central London by caesarean section. It is believed the mother used the name “Sophie” Hong during her stay at the hospital.

According to Chris Matthews’ book, Jack Kennedy: Elusive Hero, JFK stole what was to become the best known quote of his 1961 inaugural address – “Ask not…” – from his old headmaster.

JFK enraged his former classmates by plagiarizing the line “ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country”, which they had heard “time and time again” in a similar form at school.

While JFK‘s presidential rival Richard Nixon became infamous for his dirty tricks, the book claims Kennedy was not above playing some of his own.

In the pivotal televised debate of the 1960 U.S. election, JFK demanded a ban on candidates wearing make-up – then applied some anyway.

It meant John F. Kennedy appeared tanned and natural, while Richard Nixon, his Republican opponent, looked haggard and sweaty, almost derailing his campaign.

U.S. author Chris Matthews makes the claims in Jack Kennedy: Elusive Hero. The author unearthed notes written by George St John, the President’s former headmaster at Choate School in Connecticut, which suggest he had been aware of the “ask not” line for many years.

George St John’s notes quote a Harvard College dean’s refrain: “As has often been said, the youth who loves his Alma Mater will always ask not <<what can she do for me?>> but <<what can I do for her?>>”

Chris Matthews’ book also includes a reply to a questionnaire about JFK’s time at the school, sent to his former classmates when he was President. One of the students wrote: “I boil every time I read or hear the <<Ask not… etc.>> exhortation as being original with Jack.

“Time and time again we all heard [the headmaster] say that to the whole Choate family.”

JFK’ speech, delivered at his inauguration on Capitol Hill on January 20, 1961, was not, it seems, the first time he had resorted to underhand tactics.

Chris Matthews claims in the book that JFK gave himself an unfair advantage when he squared off against Richard Nixon in the first of four televised “Great Debates” on September 26, 1960, the first time such an event had taken place in America.

While JFK was charismatic and seemed at ease, Richard Nixon appeared shifty and blended into the background because of his grey suit.

According to the author, JFK had a helping hand, as his camp had insisted there was a ban on make-up, but then did not follow their own rules. Richard Nixon’s did, with disastrous consequences.

When Richard Nixon’ sweating started to become apparent and his staff secretly turned down the thermostat in the studio, JFK’s team quietly put it back up.

For the 70 million viewers watching at home – for whom it was the first chance to see both candidates – the contrast was striking.

History tells us that JFK won the debate, but some studies have found that those who heard the debate on the radio actually preferred Richard Nixon.

In the end, appearance triumphed over substance and JFK won the election. He went on to serve as president until 1963, when he was assassinated.

Richard Nixon had to wait until 1969 to enter the White House, remaining President until 1974, when he was forced to resign over the Watergate scandal.

The extraordinary revelation is sure to raise eyebrows among historians when Chris Matthews’ book is published this week.

The “Ask not…” speech has long been thought to have written with the input o JFK’s poetic speechwriter Theodore C. Sorensen.

Theodore C. Sorensen, who died in 2010, helped idealize and immortalize the JFK’s tragically brief administration.

The speecwriter was best known for working with JFK on passages of soaring rhetoric, including the 1961 inaugural address, which also proclaimed that “the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans”.

But who wrote what has always been blurred – political historians say that John F. Kennedy and Theodore C. Sorensen were so inextricably linked that perhaps only they knew who scripted what parts of the speeches.

Theodore C. Sorensen, an adoring follower of JFK, never took credit for the president’s timeless phrases – saying that it was a totally collaborative effort.

What is certain is that of the many speeches Theodore C. Sorensen helped compose, JFK’s inaugural address shone the brightest.

Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations includes four citations from the speech – about a seventh of the entire address, which built to the unforgettable “Ask not…” exhortation.

Much of the roughly 14-minute speech – the fourth-shortest inaugural address ever, but in the view of many experts rivalled only by Abraham Lincoln’s – was marked by similar sparkling phrase-making.

Theodore C. Sorensen said he drew inspiration for the speech from the Bible, from Abraham Lincoln – and from the rousing wartime speeches of British prime minister Winston Churchill.

Chris Matthews, 65, is a former presidential speechwriter for Jimmy Carter and press secretary for long-time Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tip O’Neill.

Chris Matthews’ book, Jack Kennedy: Elusive Hero, published this week, is his sixth book.

Bank of America decided to drop the plans to charge a $5 monthly fee for its debit card use in response to complaints from both customers and politicians.

Bank of America said the move to drop the fees was in response to customer feedback and competition, with the company reversing its spoken “right” to turn a profit to, instead, listening to its customers.

The company was under pressure to make the change as rivals backtracked from plans to charge customers for using their debit cards.

David Darnell, Bank of America’s co-COO, said in a statement:

“We have listened to our customers very closely over the last few weeks and recognize their concern with our proposed debit usage fee.”

Slipping in rank behind JPMorgan Chase in largest U.S. banks, Bank of America‘s CEO Brian Moynihan had earlier defended their decision of the ATM fees by saying the bank “has a right to make a profit”.

However, Bank of America reported profits at $6.2 billion in its third quarter profit report in October.

Last week, JPMorgan Chase & Co and Wells Fargo & Co decided to cancel test programs for debit card fees, while SunTrust Banks Inc and Regions Financial Corp said on Monday they would end monthly charges and reimburse their customers.

After Bank of America announced their debit card fee, Navy Federal Credit Union, the nation’s largest credit union, reported their volume of new account openings was more than 20% above normal.

Bank of America had planned to start charging customers next year.

Banks began crafting the monthly charges to make up revenue lost to a law that slashes the fees they charge retailers when consumers swipe their cards.

The new bank fees sparked a firestorm of criticism from consumers and politicians, and many smaller banks and credit unions shunned the practice.

Speaking out against the banks’ decisions in October in an interview with ABC News, President Barack Obama criticized the banks’ slew of fees saying that they don’t “have some inherent right just to, you know, get a certain amount of profit’ if their ‘customers are being mistreated”.

“Banks can make money. They can succeed, the old-fashioned way, by earning it,” said President Obama during interview.

Bank of America had planned to give customers more ways to avoid the charge, such as maintaining minimum balances, having a paycheck direct-deposited or using their Bank of America credit card.

Scarlett Johansson has eventually admitted the leaked photos were taken for her former husband Ryan Reynolds.

Speaking for the first time about the photos which became an internet sensation Scarlett Johansson said she wasn’t ashamed to have taken the shots.

Scarlett Johansson even joked: “I know my best angles.”

The actress said she had taken the two self portraits on her cell phone and sent them to her then husband, Ryan Reynolds.

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds split up after two years of marriage in December 2010.

Scarlett Johansson said the photos – which showed her reflected in a mirror – were taken three years ago when she was dating Ryan Reynolds.

“They were sent to my husband. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like I was shooting a p***o – although there’s nothing wrong with that either,” Scarlett Johansson told Vanity Fair magazine.

The actress called the FBI after the photos hacked from her phone were leaked to the internet.

It was thought the two photos were fake until lawyers for the actress said she owned the copyright to prevent them from being further published.

FBI agents from “Operation Hackerazzi” spoke to Scarlett Johansson along with as many as 50 other celebrity victims.

Christopher Chaney, 35, was later identified as the man who hacked Scarlett Johansson’s phone, along with those of Christina Aguilera, Vanessa Hudgens and Mila Kunis.

He admitted offering the stolen photos to celebrity websites but denied blackmailing any of the estimated 50 victims.

Christopher Chaney was due in court in Los Angeles on Tuesday to face 26 charges of unauthorized access to a computer and wiretapping. If convicted, Christopher Chaney faces up to 121 years in prison.

Christopher Chaney, from Jacksonville, Florida, said in a TV interview he became obsessed with the stars and used his computer skills to hack into phones and email.

Scarlett Johansson is currently on location in Arbroath, Scotland, where she is filming the sci-fi movie Under the Skin.

Hillary Clinton’s mother, Dorothy Rodham has died aged 92 shortly after midnight on November 1.

Hillary Clinton cancelled a planned trip to London and Turkey after her mother fell ill on Monday.

Dorothy Rodham died in Washington surrounded by her family , according to a release from Clinton Foundation.

Hillary Clinton‘s mother was the last surviving parent of the US Secretary of State.

The family statement remembered Dorothy Rodham as “a warm, generous and strong woman; an intellectual; a woman who told a great joke and always got the joke; an extraordinary friend and, most of all, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.”

“Her family is and will be forever grateful for the gift of Dorothy’s life and for the memories they will treasure forever.”

The statement didn’t say about the nature of Dorothy Rodham’s illness.

Hillary Clinton was due to attend international conferences on cyber-security and Afghanistan but rushed to be at her ailing mother’s side.

Dorothy Rodham was married to Hugh Rodham, an American textile wholesaler who died in 1993.

Hillary Clinton’s mother was born in Chicago, Illinois into a dysfunctional family.

Dorothy Rodham eventually went to live with her father’s parents in California when she was just eight years old, making the 2,000-mile train trip alone with her younger sister.

As a schoolgirl, Dorothy Rodham was banished to her bedroom for a year by her grandparents after she was caught trick-or-treating and at the age of 14 she took a job as a nanny.

When her mother wrote to her while she was still in high school asking her to return to Chicago, she saw it as a chance of a reunion.

However, that hope for reconciliation was short-lived and Dorothy Rodham was asked to work as her mother’s housekeeper.

Determined not to have a family like her own, Dorothy Rodham became a dedicated housewife, raising Hillary and her brothers, Hugh and Tony in Park Ridge Illinois.

Dorothy Rodham was very close to Hillary and moved to Arkansas so that she could watch her granddaughter, Chelsea, grow up.

Dorothy Rodham rarely spoke to the media and makes few public appearances but did appear in 2007 during Hillary Clinton’s presidential nomination bid and on a television advertisement.

She is described by the Washington Post as Hillary Clinton’s “most enduring influence”.

Hillary Clinton was even more protective of her mother than Chelsea Clinton when it comes to making public appearances.

Hillary Clinton was due in London on Tuesday where she would appear alongside the UK’s foreign secretary, William Hague at London’s Conference on Cyberspace and was due to speak this afternoon.

Later this week Hillary Clinton was expected at a conference will take place in Istanbul on Wednesday focusing on creating a regional strategy for boosting security and economic development in Afghanistan.

Dorothy Howell Rodham was born in Chicago on June 4, 1919 and died shortly after midnight on November 1, 2011 in Washington, D.C., surrounded by her family. Her story was a quintessentially American one, largely because she wrote it herself. She overcame abandonment and hardship as a young girl to become the remarkable woman she was — a warm, generous and strong woman; an intellectual; a woman who told a great joke and always got the joke; an extraordinary friend and, most of all, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Dorothy is and always will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Bill Clinton; her sons and daughters-in-law, Hugh Rodham and Maria Rodham and Tony Rodham and Megan Rodham; her grandchildren, Chelsea Clinton and her husband Marc Mezvinsky, Zachary Rodham, Fiona Rodham and Simon Rodham. She leaves behind many friends from all stages and places in her life, friends from California she met in high school, friends from Little Rock and Washington with whom she explored the world, the people who were first her doctors and then became her friends at George Washington Hospital, to the people she met through her children and grandchildren who became as much her friend as theirs.

A Boeing 767 flying from Newark operated by Polish LOT airlines made an emergency landing at Warsaw airport today.

The aircraft, which was flying from Newark, New Jersey, with around 230 people on board made a belly landing at Warsaw’s airport on Tuesday after reported trouble with landing gear.

Captain Tadeusz Wrona radioed ahead to let the control tower know there was a problem with deploying the landing gear. After several attempts, however, it was decided that the aircraft would have to come down without any wheels.

While the plane circled the Warsaw for an hour, dumping excess fuel and repeatedly trying to solve the problem, ground crews prepared for a crash landing, closing the airport to all other flights and clearing nearby streets. Fire crews also sprayed the runway with foam in a bid to prevent a fire from breaking out.

Captain Tadeusz Wrona lifted the nose of the aircraft slightly as it approached the tarmac. As it slid along the runway, smoke billowed from the undercarriage followed by bright flashes from under the engines.
When it came to a halt, fire engines that were waiting along the sides and at the end of the tarmac rush towards the plane, dowsing it with foam.

Meanwhile, passengers are quickly ushered off down the inflatable chutes on either side.
News channels and TV crews were on the scene soon after learning about the impending disaster and the incredible landing was beamed live around the world.

Nearby streets were cleared and a landing strip was especially prepared at the airport for the crash landing.
Staff worked hard to find a technical solution to the landing gear problems while in the air, but eventually had to try to land.

It was reported that nobody was injured, passengers or crew members.

Leszek Chorzewski, spokesman for the Polish national flag carrier LOT, the aircraft operator, said:

“All safety procedures worked perfectly fine and, thanks to this, nobody was injured.”

Polish television footage showed the plane landing on its belly, with a few sparks flying as the craft hit the runway which had been covered with flame retardant foam.

There was no blaze reported but firefighters hosed the plane with water and foam as a precautionary measure.

LOT aircraft passengers were evacuated from the plane, which had circled above Warsaw before the crash landing. Warsaw airport remained closed for all other flights.

Warsaw airport has been closed until 8:00 a.m. on tomorrow. Poland’s President Bronislaw Komorowski congratulated and thanked the pilot, Captain Tadeusz Wrona, and the rest of the crew for their successful landing.

George Soros has hit back at his ex-girlfriend Adriana Ferreyr, who is suing him for $50 million, calling her a money-grabber who is trying to distort him for his fortune.

Adriana Ferreyr, 28, brought a lawsuit against billionaire George Soros, 81, earlier this year for “severe emotional distress and damages” including an incident in which he allegedly slapped her in the face and attempted to throttle her.

Adriana Ferreyr also claimed that George Soros – who is worth an estimated $14.5 billion – dumped her after a five-year relationship and went back on an agreement to buy her a $1.9 million Upper East Side apartment.

The New York Post reported that George Soros’ lawyer served Adriana Ferreyr’s lawyers with papers arguing that the case should be dismissed.

In those documents, billionaire George Soros states that they had an “on-again, off-again and non-exclusive intimate relationship”.

The papers also claim Adriana Ferreyr tried to extract millions more as “part of her continued request to cash in on their casual relationship”.

George Soros said in his papers that the claims he promised to buy his ex-girlfriend an apartment were “preposterous” and that she was “disappointed that Soros moved on to other women, ending her hopes of living in an extravagant <<dream apartment>> for free”.

Adriana Ferreyr claimed in her lawsuit that she was terrified during a row over property with the financier and that he became violent and threw a lamp at her when she asked why he had given the apartment he allegedly promised her to another woman, telling her: “I don’t care.”

George Soros said Adriana Ferreyr accusations are “odious and utterly baseless” and that the lamp fell on her foot.

Adriana Ferreyr’s lawyer told the New York Post: “These are chauvinistic and simplistic statements which are devoid of any reality.

“I do not believe this motion to dismiss will be successful.”

During an interview two months ago, Adriana Ferreyr also opened up about their five-year relationship and claimed that George Soros was tight-fisted and bought her nothing for the first three years.

It was only in the fourth year that she even got a birthday present, the Brazilian soap opera star claims.

Adriana Ferreyr said: “During the first three years, he gave me nothing, not even a birthday present. He changed and became cruel. I don’t know why he would do this to me.

“George is so powerful, he thinks he can get rid of anyone he wants. But I am not going away. I am going to fight.

“We were in bed, and he just replied coldly and bluntly that he had given [the apartment] to his other girlfriend. I got emotional and cried . . . He just said, <<I don’t care>>. I was in bed with him. It was horrifying for me.”

Adriana Ferreyr, who is studying at Columbia University in New York, added: “I was completely heartbroken.”

Problems surfaced early last year, when George Soros allegedly promised to buy Adriana Ferreyr a Manhattan apartment but revoked his offer at the last minute.

George Soros and Adriana Ferreyr broke up but reconciled until last August, when he allegedly revealed whilst they were in bed that he had given the apartment to another of his girlfriends, Tamiko Bolton, 39, his travelling nurse.

During the ensuing row, George Soros is said to have choked Adriana Ferreyr and a lamp was broken which she stepped on, cutting her foot.

Adriana Ferreyr said: “He just snapped. I had never seen him like that before. I was afraid.”
