Hillary Clinton’s former aide Huma Abedin has reportedly written in a new memoir how she was sexually assaulted by a US senator.

According to the Guardian, Huma Abedin said the unnamed politician pounced on her on a couch in the mid-2000s after inviting her into his home.

Huma Abedin says she rebuffed him as he tried to kiss her and escaped.

The claim is detailed in her new book, Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds, which is being published next week.

Huma Abedin was one of 2016 Democratic presidential nominee and former Obama-era secretary of state Hillary Clinton’s most trusted aides, and was once described by her as her “second daughter”.

She describes the assault while recounting her work for Hillary Clinton when she was a senator for New York between 2001and 2009.

Huma Abedin, now 45, does not reveal the senator’s identity or even his party.

She says that after a Washington dinner she walked out with the politician and when they stopped in front of his home he invited her inside for coffee. She accepted.

According to the Guardian, which has seen an advance copy of the memoir, Huma Abedin writes: “Then, in an instant, it all changed. He plopped down to my right, put his left arm around my shoulder, and kissed me, pushing his tongue into my mouth, pressing me back on the sofa.

“I was so utterly shocked, I pushed him away. All I wanted was for the last 10 seconds to be erased.”

Huma Abedin says the senator apologized and said he had “misread” her, before asking if she wanted to stay.

She writes: “Then I said something only the twentysomething version of me would have come up with – ‘I am so sorry’ – and walked out, trying to appear as nonchalant as possible.”

She says she bumped into the senator a few days later on Capitol Hill, and he asked if they were still friends.

Huma Abedin also details in the book her anger at her ex-husband, former Democratic New York congressman Anthony Weiner, whose career was destroyed by sex scandals.

Asia Argento has accused The Fast and the Furious director Rob Cohen of assault.

The actress told Italian newspaper Il Corriere della Sera that Rob Cohen abused her and made her drink GHB, a drug associated with sex attacks.

A spokesperson for Rob Cohen called the actress’ claim “categorically false” and “bewildering”.

Asia Argento alleges the assault occurred while filming action movie xXx in 2002.

“At the time, I really didn’t know what it was. I woke up in the morning naked in his bed,” she told the Italian publication.

The accusations are also included in Asia Argento’s autobiography Anatomy of a Wild Heart, which will be published in her native Italy on January 26.

The statement issued by Rob Cohen’s spokesperson described the pair as having “an excellent working relationship and Mr. Cohen considered her a friend, so this claim dating back to 2002 is bewildering”.

Asia Argento was one of the first to accuse convicted Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of assault in an interview in the New Yorker with Ronan Farrow back in 2017.

Evelyn Yang, the wife of Democratic presidential hopeful Andrew Yang, has said she was assaulted by her gynecologist while she was pregnant with their first child.

She has accused Dr. Robert Hadden of assaulting her at his New York practice in 2012.

Speaking to CNN, Evelyn Yang said she didn’t tell her husband at first.

Andrew Yang’s wife is one of 32 women suing Robert Hadden and the university where he practiced.

Dr. Hadden has denied the allegations in a court document. He was convicted of assault in 2016 and surrendered his medical license, but did not serve any jail time after accepting a plea deal.

Evelyn Yang, 38, said she was encouraged to speak out by the warm reception she and her husband had received when talking to voters about their son’s autism.

She revealed on CNN: “Something about being on the trail and meeting people and seeing the difference that we’ve been making already has moved me to share my own story about it, about sexual assault.”

Evelyn Yang said “everyone has their own Me Too story”, referencing the global movement against assault and harassment, but added “not everyone has the audience or platform to tell their story”.

Andrew Yang, a tech entrepreneur who is vying for the Democratic presidential nomination, said he was “extraordinary proud” of his wife.

He said in a statement on January 16: “When victims of abuse come forward, they deserve our belief, support, and protection.

“I hope that Evelyn’s story gives strength to those who have suffered and sends a clear message that our institutions must do more to protect and respond to women.”

Evelyn Yang has accused Dr. Hadden of assaulting her in his examination room when she was seven months pregnant with her first child.

She said she told her husband about the alleged assault after the birth of their child, Christopher.

Evelyn Yang said she was prompted to do so after reading about a woman who had accused Robert Hadden of assault.

Other women came forward and a case against Dr. Hadden was opened by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

Evelyn Yang helped prosecutors to build their case and testified before a grand jury, which indicted Robert Hadden on multiple sex crime charges in 2014.

In 2016, Robert Hadden accepted a plea deal after admitting one count of forcible touching and one count of third-degree assault. As part of the deal, Hadden was stripped of his medical license but did not go to prison.

President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, has been accused of assault by singer Joy Villa.

According to Joy Villa, Corey Lewandowski hit her twice on the backside during an event in Washington last month.

The singer told media she spoke to the police on Christmas Eve, having been persuaded to launch a formal complaint by friends.

Corey Lewandowski has not responded to media’s requests for comment.

The accusations are the latest in a long line of harassment and assault claims linked to celebrities, politicians and companies, which have gathered pace in the past year, particularly following the downfall of film producer Harvey Weinstein.

According to Associated Press, Joy Villa said: “I was initially fearful to come forward with this.”

She said she did not want to embarrass Corey Lewandowski’s family or hers.

Corey Lewandowski: Donald Trump’s Campaign Manager Charged with Assaulting Journalist

Joy Villa, who is a vocal Trump supporter and wore a “Make America Great Again” dress to the 2017 Grammy Awards, was at a gathering at Trump International Hotel when she posed for a photograph with Corey Lewandowski, whom, she says, she had never met before.

The singer alleges Corey Lewandowski hit her once on the buttocks, and when she asked him to stop and joked about reporting him for harassment, he did it again. She said he laughed, adding: “I work in the private sector.”

Joy Villa said the hard slaps felt “disgusting and shocking and demeaning”.

Politico first reported on the incident last week, saying they had talked to a witness who spoke out before Joy Villa did.

Joy Villa has previously said she is considering running for Congress – and President Donald Trump has tweeted his support.

Donald Trump fired Corey Lewandowski as campaign manager in June 2016.

Earlier last year, Corey Lewandowski was charged with battery after allegedly yanking a female reporter out of Donald Trump’s way after a campaign event. The charges were later dropped.

Sarah Palin’s eldest son, Track, has been charged with assault and burglary after a confrontation with his father involving a firearm.

According to police, Track Palin, 28, allegedly broke into his parents’ Alaska home through a window on December 16.

Court documents obtained by media say the former Republican vice presidential nominee’s son said he was on pain medication and had been drinking.

Track Palin was arrested in 2016 for allegedly punching his girlfriend.

After he eventually pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm while intoxicated, other charges were dismissed in that case.

Police documents, published by the LA Times, said Sarah Palin called the police at about 20:40 on December 16 to say her son was on “some type of medication” and was allegedly “freaking out”.

The affidavit by a responding officer said they found the former Alaskan governor “visibly upset” at the property.

Sarah Palin’s family brawl: Anchorage police release report

Police say that when they arrived they had a stand-off with Track Palin in which he moved around the house and at one stage went out onto the garage roof. They say he demanded police put their weapons on the ground and allegedly called them “peasants”.

According to police, the struggle between the two men happened after Track Palin said he was coming to the property to retrieve a vehicle, and threatened to beat his father.

Todd Palin, Sarah Palin’s husband, told police he armed himself with a pistol when his son arrived, but was disarmed and was left bloodied.

Track Palin was charged by police with first-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault and criminal mischief, and remains in police custody.

A statement to media from the family requested privacy, and said the Palins were unable to comment further on the case.

Earlier this year Track Palin’s ex-girlfriend Jordan Loewe applied for a protective order against him, having previously requested full custody of their one-year-old son.

The singer’s lawyer tweeted that his client was later freed, adding that the accusations were “demonstrably false”.

Police went to Chris Brown’s home following the emergency call early on August 30 from Baylee Curran, who by that time had left the property.

She told the LA Times that she and a friend had gone to Chris Brown’s house with a business associate on August 29.

Baylee Curran said she had been admiring the diamond necklace of a man who had been showing off his jewellery when the man got angry and told her to back away.

That is when she says Chris Brown pulled out a gun, pointed it at her face and told her to get out.

“If somebody put a gun to your head, what would you do? Call the police,” Baylee Curran said on her Instagram account, AFP news agency reported.

Once at Chris Brown’s sprawling mansion, police officers were allegedly denied entry and had to wait for a judge to approve a search warrant before going inside to search for a weapon.

It wasn’t until Chris Brown’s lawyer arrived that the singer eventually emerged.

Police said about half a dozen people had been escorted out of the residence and would be interviewed.

During the stand-off, Chris Brown posted videos online accusing the police of harassment.

“When you get the warrant for whatever you need to do, you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots,” the singer said in one Instagram video, posted to 30 million followers.

In another video, Chris Brown also voiced support for the Black Lives Matter movement against police brutality, saying: “You’re all the worst gang in the world, the police.”

Saudi Prince Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud will not be charged over the alleged assault in Los Angeles, prosecutors say.

Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud, 28, was arrested in September on suspicion of assault on an employee at his Beverly Hills mansion.

However, prosecutors say they do not have enough evidence against the Saudi prince.Saudi Prince Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud Beverly Hills mansion

Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud’s lawyer, Alan Jackson, said his client was innocent and claimed the case was “some kind of shakedown for money”.

The case has been forwarded to the city attorney for a possible misdemeanor charge, Jane Robison, a spokesperson for the city attorney’s office, said.

There were four alleged victims and one did not cooperate with authorities, Jane Robison added.

Police were called to Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud’s estate after a neighbor saw a bloodied woman calling for help and trying to climb over a wall.

Two days later, three women who worked as servants at the mansion sued the prince, alleging battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

This case will be reviewed by a prosecutor in the city attorney’s office, a spokesman said.

Justin Bieber has been arrested and charged with assault and dangerous driving after crashing his quad bike into a minivan.

The 20-year-old singer was arrested near his hometown of Stratford, Ontario, after apparently getting into a fight with the other driver.

Ontario Provincial Police confirmed they were called to the scene to investigate and then made the arrest.

Police said they then released Justin Bieber on what’s called a “promise to appear” in court on September 29.

According to a police statement, an investigation “revealed that after colliding, the driver of the all terrain vehicle and an occupant of the minivan engaged in a physical altercation”.

There were no reported injuries from the collision, but law enforcement sources wouldn’t say whether injuries had resulted from the fight.

Justin Bieber’s lawyer, Brian Greenspan, said in an emailed statement: “Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’ peaceful retreat in Stratford this weekend was unfortunately disrupted by the unwelcome presence of paparazzi.

“This has regrettably resulted in charges of dangerous driving and assault.”

This is the latest in a long line of run-ins with the police.

The singer is serving two years probation for throwing eggs at his neighbor’s house in LA.

Justin Bieber already faces an assault charge in Toronto following an altercation between a limo driver and a passenger last December and is expected in court on September 8 to answer that charge.

A number of people have provided information after Cliff Richard’s UK property was searched in relation to an alleged historical s** offence, police say.

South Yorkshire Police, which carried out the search in Sunningdale on August 14, did not say what this information related to.

Police said the allegation involved a boy under 16.

Cliff Richard, 73, has said the allegation is “completely false”.

In a statement issued on August 14, the singer said: “For many months I have been aware of allegations against me of historic impropriety which have been circulating online.

“The allegations are completely false. Up until now I have chosen not to dignify the false allegations with a response, as it would just give them more oxygen.”

Cliff Richard said he would “co-operate fully” if the police wanted to speak to him.

It appears the allegation relates to an alleged assault at an event featuring preacher Billy Graham at Bramall Lane in Sheffield in 1985.

In a statement, South Yorkshire Police (SYP) said it had not alerted the media to the search in advance.

It said: “When a media outlet contacted SYP with information about an investigation, we took the decision to work with them in order to protect the integrity of that investigation.

“Since the search took place, a number of people have contacted the police to provide information and we must acknowledge that the media played a part in that, for which we are grateful.”

In his statement, Cliff Richard said the police had searched his home “without notice, except it would appear to the press”.

Lindsay Lohan was reportedly assaulted in her room at the W Hotel in Manhattan early Sunday morning.

A police source tells local NBC 4 News Lindsay Lohan, 26, was involved in an argument with a 25-year-old man she met at a nightclub before bringing him back to her room, where a group of friends was present.

An argument between the pair is believed to have stemmed over photos the man took of the actress on his mobile phone while at the W Hotel in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village.

According to NBCNewYork.com, Lindsay Lohan met the unnamed male at Manhattan’s popular 1OAK nightclub in the city’s Chelsea neighborhood.

She is said to have later taken the man to her room on the 15th floor of the nearby W Hotel.

Police sources tell the website “Lohan took the man’s cell phone from him and then he punched her” after the alleged photo incident.

The actress “also told detectives he choked her”, according to the website.

Lindsay Lohan is said to have pulled the fire alarm at the hotel and fled from her room following the scuffle.

The male, who has yet to be identified, was being held at Manhattan’s 13th precinct awaiting charges at press time, NBC reports.

The alleged incident comes less than a week after Lindsay Lohan was rushed to hospital after suffering from a bad lung infection.

According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan had suffered with a case of “walking pneumonia” but her condition apparently deteriorated, causing her to seek medical attention.

The actress was reportedly taken to the emergency room at Mount Sinai Hospital where she received treatment, including antibiotics.

She was discharged shortly afterwards and is said to be recovering.
