Based on the success of the original model released last year, OnePlus strikes again with the second version of the already popular handset. OnePlus 2 is available now in the 3GB and 4GB versions. The powerful yet affordable phablet is about the same size as the first model (151.8 x 74.9 x 9.9 mm at 175 grams) and got minor design ehhancements like sharper corners for a more professional, or serios look, if you like, coming equipped with everything you need for productivity, mobile entertainment and communication on the go.
In addition to supporting more 4G LTE bands than the first version and delivering high speeds (HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps, LTE Cat4 150/50 Mbps), the new phablet adds Dual SIM with dual-standby, fingerprint sensor, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, the Oxygen user interface, Android 5.1 Lollipop, the powerful Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset, Quad-core Cortex-A53 and Quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A57 processors, Adreno 430 graphic power, 4GB of RAM memory, and a slightly better Li-Pol battery of 3300 mAH.
On the phablet’s 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 LTPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors you can watch 2160p@30fps videos recorded with the main 13MP camera, or take 5MP selfies with the secondary camera which also can record full HD videos at 30fps. Altough there’s no card slot to expand the storage, you get 16GB or 64GB of internal storage capacity, which should be more than enough for videos, music, documents and various apps you need to keep handy.
Other features of the OnePlus 2 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, Glonass GPS, active noise cancellation for crystal-clear communication, HTML5, DivX, HDR, and Bluetooth 4.1 with A2DP. There is no card slot, radio, Java, or NFC, but all the features above seem to compensate.
The full featured OnePlus 2 4GB phablet was just released a few days ago and you can get it from Gearbest now for a discounted price of $464.69.
