Robin Williams made his final on-screen appearance as a middle-aged married man with a monotonous life who falls in love with a troubled young man (Roberto Aguire). The character finds himself breaking from the confines of his old life and coming to terms with who he really is.
Before his death, Robin Williams described Dito Montiel’s Boulevard as a “beautiful, sad movie” that was “powerful to do”.
