Police pulled over John Stamos on Friday evening, June 12 after receiving several calls about a possible drunk driver.
The actor, who was driving alone, was then transported to the nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for observation “due to a possible medical condition”.
John Stamos, 51 was finally arrested for DUI and was released to the care of the hospital.
On Saturday, June 13, the actor took to Twitter to thank his supporters and express his appreciation for the police and medical workers who treated him at a hospital after the incident.
John Stamos teewted: “Thanks to everyone for their love & support.
“I’m home & well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care.”
He is scheduled to answer to the DUI charge at a hearing in Los Angeles on September 11.
John Stamos’ arrest comes a month and a half after he announced a Full House reunion series titled Fuller House, which will debut on Netflix in 2016.
The actor will revive his role as Uncle Jesse on Fuller House and also serves as a producer.
