Daniel Craig, 47, met up with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to accept a new role: as global advocate for the elimination of mines and explosive hazards.
“As 007, you have a license to kill,” said Ban Ki-moon.
“Today, we are giving you a license to save.”
“I’m honored to accept this role [and] humbled that I’ll get the chance to work next to people who are risking their lives every day to help ordinary people live ordinary lives,” said Daniel Craig.
Daniel Craig is heading back to the set of the latest James Bond film, Spectre, after his recent knee surgery.
