Nick Cannon covers up Mariah Carey tattoo on his back

Nick Cannon has altered the Mariah Carey tattoo on his back.

Nick Cannon, who recently announced he and Mariah Carey secretly separated a few months ago, got his estranged wife’s first name inked across his shoulders in large letters shortly before they tied the knot in 2008.

According to new reports, Nick Cannon recently had the tattoo transformed into an elaborate image of Jesus Christ.

Nick Cannon, who has three-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with the 44-year-old singer, debuted his new artwork as he celebrated his upcoming 34th birthday on October 8 with friends, including Amber Rose, at the Playhouse nightclub in Hollywood on October 2.

According to TMZ.com, Nick Cannon’s new tattoo shows Jesus Christ on the cross with angel wings coming off the end the crucifix.

It is not yet known whether Mariah, who got Mrs. Cannon inked on her back before their wedding, plans to change or remove her tattoo.

Nick Cannon announced his split from Mariah Carey in August, saying: “There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months. My main focus is my kids.”
