June Shannon and Sugar Bear split just 16 months after commitment ceremony

Honey Boo Boo’s parents June Shannon and Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson have separated, Mama June confirmed in a statement.

June Shannon wrote on her Facebook account: “Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship. We are taking things day by day, but regardless of what happens, the girls will always be our number one priority. We want to thank y’all for your support.“

According to a new report, Mama June is convinced Sugar Bear cheated on her. To make matters worse, she even caught him on online dating sites.

“I love to hunt fish and ride 4wheelers and have a good time. I like spending time at home watching movies cuddling spending time with family. I love muddy Boggs and love to ride in the mudd,” Sugar Bear’s profile reads.

June Shannon is reportedly planning on taking her four children and moving out of their Georgia home once Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality show is done filming.

Even though the couple never officially married, they did have a commitment ceremony in May 2013 resulting in Mama June wearing a wedding ring.
