Guards quickly lifted 24-year-old Iggy Azalea off the ground, after asking if she was fine.
The rapper returned onstage to thunderous applause. Iggy Azalea laughed, finishing the song in the center of the stage with singer Charli XCX.
Iggy Azalea shared an Instagram video of the fall with her 4.1 million followers.
In the caption, she wrote: “Sorry but it would be a crime not to share this with you all, I know I laughed. #StillFinishedtheSongTho #KeptOnRapping #TheShowMustGoOn.”
After finishing Fancy, Iggy Azalea told the crowd that this was her first time falling off a stage.
Iggy Azalea is nominated in seven categories for Sunday’s Video Music Awards – four for her Clueless-themed Fancy and three for her featured role on Ariana Grande’s Problem.
