Cydney Bernard: Jodie Foster’s ex-partner jealous of actress’ marriage to Alexandra Hedison

Jodie Foster’s ex-partner, Cydney Bernard, is said to be jealous that the actress married girlfriend Alexandra Hedison.

Jodie Foster and Alexandra Hedison tied the knot over the weekend after dating for just a year.

Cydney Bernard, 61, and Jodie Foster, 51, broke up in 2008. They had been together since 1993, and raised their two sons: Charles “Charlie” Foster (born July 20, 1998) and Christopher “Kit” Foster (born September 29, 2001).

According to sources close to the actress, Jodie Foster and Alexandra Hedison got married because they’re keen to start a family.

“Jodie and Alexandra want to have a family together,” a source said.

“But Alexandra wanted security from Jodie, and would only have a child with her if they were married.

“They will likely use a surrogate for their baby – being married just makes the legalities easier.”
