L’Wren Scott dead: Mick Jagger shocked and devastated by girlfriend’s death

A spokesman for Mick Jagger said the singer is “completely shocked and devastated” by the death of his girlfriend L’Wren Scott.

Fashion designer L’Wren Scott, 49, was found at 10:00 a.m. on Monday by her assistant in her New York City flat.

Police is treating L’Wren Scott’s death as a suicide.

However, the medical examiner has yet to determine an official cause of death.

The Rolling Stones are currently on tour in Australia.

Mick Jagger, 70, and L’Wren Scott began dating in 2001.

L’Wren Scott, born Luann Bambrough, was raised by Mormon adoptive parents in Utah.

She began her career as a model in Paris, then moved to Los Angeles to become a fashion stylist, according to a biography on her company’s website.

She founded her own high-end fashion label in 2006 and recently created a more affordable line of clothes with Banana Republic.

L’Wren Scott was said to be 6ft 3in (1.93 m) tall, towering over her partner Mick Jagger, 5ft 10in (1.78 m).
