Cher makes joke about Sonny Bono during Facebook Q&A session

During a Facebook Q&A session with Cher last week, fans asked all about the singer’s past, including her personal life and her marriage to the late Sonny Bono.

Sonny Bono died in a skiing accident in 1998 after the couple had divorced.

Cher was asked: “… if Sonny Bono were still alive today, but you only had a minute to talk to him, what would you say.”

The singer quipped: “How hot is it where you just came from?”

Cher has openly discussed Sonny Bono’s alleged affairs, once telling Parade magazine that having “even five” women on the side “was not enough for him,” and that when she announced she was leaving, he told her: “If you leave me, America will hate you and you won’t have a job.”
