Chris Brown, 24, supposedly completed his prior 180-day community service sentence – the result of his assault case against Rihanna – but it appears that he won’t get credit for those hours.
That’s because the D.A. believes Chris Brown violated his probation by submitting fraudulent reports about how much work he actually did.
In one example from the D.A., Chris Brown allegedly was headed off to Cancun despite officially stating that he was picking up trash in Virginia.
The silver lining for the singer is that the prosecutor did agree to reinstate Chris Brown’s probation, which was revoked last month as a result of an alleged hit-and-run incident in May, which was recently dismissed.
Chris Brown will now have several choices in terms of community service – he can work for Caltrans on highway cleanup, beach cleanup, probation alternative work services (PAWS) or graffiti removal, according to TMZ.
And though the singer was originally allowed to complete the service hours in his home state of Virginia, he doesn’t have that luxury this time, as the judge ordered he be supervised by L.A. County officials.
Chris Brown now must report to a probation officer within 48 hours, according to TMZ.
