June Shannon reveals she failed to recognize superfan Miley Cyrus

Mama June has revealed she failed to recognize Miley Cyrus when the excited singer ran up and hugged her at a television studio.

June Shannon, 33, admitted the gaffe during an interview on the Wendy Williams Show.

Honey Boo Boo’s mother said: “This may sound bad on my part, but because it was so crazy at Good Morning America, [Miley Cyrus’] like, <<Oh my god, there’s Mama June!>> and she came up and hugged me because it was so fast, I didn’t realize it was her until after she walked by!”

June Shannon also made her infamous sketti and chunky pork and beans dishes, which Wendy Williams announced “tastes like home”.

She also chatted about her reasons for doing the hit show, explaining: “It gives the kids a more better future like, whenever they get older.”

“And I’m able to take the kids on vacations and see parts of the world they never have been able to see before.”

But it isn’t changing their lives entirely, as the savvy saver is filtering it all into trust funds.

June Shannon explained: “I don’t see that money. What it is, I’ve got it set up to where they automatically go in to all five accounts, the four girls and the grand baby, and they can’t touch it until they’re 21.”
