Jessica Simpson shares bizarre photo of mother Tina tightly swaddled in a blanket

In first tweet since giving birth to baby Ace Knute, Jessica Simpson has revealed that fiancé Eric Johnson is taking his responsibilities to the extreme.

Jessica Simpson, 33, shared a photo of her mother Tina, tightly swaddled in a blanket wearing a look of surprise.

Alongside the picture, Jessica Simpson tweeted: “Eric got carried away with his swaddling skills!”

A beaming Tina looked delighted to be a grandmother once more, the new addition probably taking her mind off her recent divorce from husband Joe, which was finalized in April.

New mom Jessica Simpson hasn’t been spotted since the birth of her second child via a scheduled C section on June 30.

Announcing the birth, the Fashion Star mentor’s rep told USWeekly: “Ace Knute (pronounced Ka-nute) Johnson has arrived! Mom and baby are doing great.”

“Jessica, Eric and Maxwell are thrilled to welcome the new addition to their family,” the rep continued.

Baby Ace takes the unusual middle name Knute from his Swedish paternal grandfather, but since the name was revealed it has been ridiculed on Twitter as “stupid” and “ugly”.

Jessica Simpson and 33-year-old Eric Johnson are already parents to daughter Maxwell who is almost 14-months-old.
