Chris Brown has confirmed he and Rihanna are taking a break from one another after she was absent from his birthday celebrations all weekend
“I’m always going to love that person … [but] I can’t be focused on wife-ing someone that young – I need to step forward and be a man and be the best Chris Brown I can be,” Chris Brown, 24, said on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show.
“Live and you f***ing learn!” the singer tweeted Monday morning.
“I’m just focus on my music.”
“I mean at the end of the day, [Rihanna] is doing her own thing, she’s on the road,” he told the Australian radio hosts.
“It’s always gonna be love – I’m a grown man, just gotta fast forward.”
“I’m just trying to have, you know, the best time and basically celebrate with all my fans and all the people in the club,” Chris Brown explained.
Showing Chris Brown what he’s missing, Rihanna posted a picture with her gal pals Cara Delevigne and Georgia May Jagger on Sunday: “Yup! We definitely have more fun!! #blondelife #backstagebehavior @caradelevingne @georgiamayjagger.”
On Saturday, Chris Brown continued his 24th birthday bender at 1 OAK Nightclub in Las Vegas, where he wound up shirtless, smoking cigarettes and drinking the night away.
