Portia De Rossi confirms she doesn’t want to have kids as she posed for Out magazine

Portia De Rossi has revealed that she will never have children with Ellen DeGeneres as she posed for a new issue of Out magazine.

Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres have been together for over eight years and married for nearly five, but they never had the desire to start a family.

“You have to really want to have kids, and neither of us did. So it’s just going to be me and Ellen and no babies,” 40-year-old Portia De Rossi says in the interview.

She says she never felt the pressure to procreate like many women do when they are in their mid-30’s.

“There comes some pressure in your mid-30s, and you think, <<Am I going to have kids so I don’t miss out on something that other people really seem to love?>>” she explains.

“Or is it that I really genuinely want to do this with my whole heart? I didn’t feel that my response was <<yes>> to the latter.”

With her hair styled in a similar elfin-like crop as Ellen DeGeneres, it is almost hard to tell the difference between the two.

While Ellen DeGeneres continues her daily daytime talk show, Portia De Rossi will be returning to the small screen on May 26th when Netflix premieres a brand new 15 episode season of the top-notch comedy Arrested Development.
