Snooki weight loss: Jersey Shore star shows off shrinking frame at WWE Superstars for Sandy Relief

Snooki showed off her 42 lb weight loss the WWE Superstars for Sandy Relief at Cipriani in New York City on Thursday night.

Snooki, 25, gave birth to baby Lorenzo six months ago and is no surprise that she is eager to take every opportunity she can to show off her shrinking frame.

The Jersey Shore star sported a short black mini dress, bright gold belt and strappy heels for the New York event.

Snooki’s slimmed down legs and thinner face was clear to see as she posed on the red carpet with her long dark hair dipped in purple dye at the ends.

An oversized gold envelope style clutch bag and a chunky necklace completed her look.

Snooki, real name Nicole Polizzi, was reunited with fellow Jersey Shore castmates Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola.

Joined by the star’s fiancé Jionni Lavalle, the trio spent some of the party catching up together and Snooki posted a photograph of the quartet on her Twitter page.

“With my love bugs @mtvronnie @samxoswthrt @jlavalle5,” Snooki wrote alongside the snap.

The stars have a vested interest in raising money for the hurricane’s relief effort, with much of their beloved Jersey Shore affected by last year’s storm.

The party was hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs and marked part of WrestleMania week, with proceeds benefitting The Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund, both of which continue to provide assistance in the wake of the storm.

Snooki recently appeared on the Dr. Oz TV show where she encouraged dieters to stick to their weight loss plans.

“If I can lose 42 lbs. after giving birth six months [ago], I mean, anybody could do it,” she told the show.

“You just need the dedication, and you need to want to have your body back.”

Snooki reached 109 lbs in January this year after gaining more than 40 during her pregnancy.
