Amanda Bynes was spotted wandering aimlessly around New York City’s Times Square wearing a blue shirt over her head.

Amanda Bynes’ attempt to hide her identity seeming backfired, and instead attracted more attention.

A source told Us Weekly the star was “pretending to be a ghost”, while a second onlooker said she was “walking into things because she couldn’t see”.

Amanda Bynes made a stop at McDonald’s during her outing, where an eyewitness tells the publication she ordered a coffee and a soft drink which she sipped at the same time.

The star sparked concern earlier this week after complaining about her current weight.

Amanda Bynes, 26, posted a picture of herself in a tight top and skirt on Twitter on Tuesday morning with the caption: “Looking pudgy and I broke my nail.”

Last month she revealed her plans to lose 21 pounds and drop down to 100 pounds by pounding the streets of New York.
