Lady Gaga meets 13 lions from distance as she enjoys a safari trip in South Africa

Lady Gaga got up close and personal to some Lions as she went on safari in South Africa.

Lady Gaga, 26, real name Stefani Germanotta, looked in her element as she became one with nature… and then tweeted about it.

She was at least dressed for the part as she pulled her best pose for the photograph.

Lady Gaga wore a typical green hat which she customized to fit her own style and pulled her long hair through the top of it.

She teamed that accessory with a leopard print silk scarf and large green earrings.

With the lions asleep on the grass behind her, Lady Gaga quietly took the snaps herself before getting back on the safari truck.

She tweeted: “SAFARI PICTURE: in this photo I’m about 10 feet from 13 lions, 2 cubs. I spent about 30 minutes w them and took a nap!”

The singer continued: “the lion pride even woke up at one point and let us come closer :)”

After proclaiming how “beautiful” the wildlife was, Lady Gaga commented on her unique choice of outfit.

She said: “& yes I cut a hole in my bush hat so my pony could stick out #SafariBarbie #Glambi my scarf was a gift from the Princess of Monaco, thanku!”

The eccentric singer touched down in Johannesburg earlier this week as she continues her world tour.

After performing at the FNB Stadium Lady Gaga said: “Johannesburg was so wonderful, i can’t really put it into words. Im so happy, I haven’t slept yet. Laying in bed dreaming of the next tour.”
