Bobby Brown, 43, maintained his innocence at Los Angeles court on Friday, despite the fact it is the third time he has been charged with DUI.
He denied multiple charges stemming from being pulled over at around 1:00 a.m. on October 24, 2012 after police believed he was driving erratically in the Tarzana area of Los Angeles.
Officers subsequently discovered Bobby Brown was behind the wheel without the dashboard breathalyser he was previously ordered by court to carry around with him.
Deputy City Attorney Diego Edber, told E! Online Bobby Brown was not in court but that his attorney, Tiffany Feder, entered not guilty pleas on his behalf.
Bobby Brown is facing charges of driving under the influence with a refusal to submit to a chemical test, driving with a suspended license due to a conviction of an alcohol offence, and driving a vehicle without an ignition interlock device.
The last two counts are the result of another DUI arrest back in March in the San Fernando Valley. Bobby Brown received three years’ probation and did a spell in rehab after pleading no contest in that case.
The judge ordered Bobby Brown attend three Alcoholics Anonymous classes per week as a condition of his release until the next court date, with the next pretrial hearing scheduled for December 13.
However, the lawman also denied the prosecutor’s request to impose a $75,000 bail on the entertainer.
If convicted of the new charges, Bobby brown could face a maximum of two years in jail.
