Tom Cruise, 50, was in Iceland filming his movie Oblivion, and received a visit from Katie Holmes shortly before she packed up and left him.
Images show the pair sat in a quiet corner of quaint restaurant Sushi Samba, facing each other as they peruse the menu.
Both of the actors were dressed casually for the meal, with Katie Holmes sporting white leggings and black polo neck while Tom Cruise wore a black jacket and matching trousers.
Tom Cruise was still in Iceland when news broke of the couple’s split and he spent his 50th birthday alone while Katie Holmes took their six-year-old daughter Suri for ice cream.
The pair has attempted to continue life as normal without Tom Cruise around and Katie Holmes has been taking Suri to do an array of activities.
Yesterday the mother and daughter duo were spotted stocking up on groceries at Whole Foods in New York.
