Jessica Simpson gets caught in a downpour while leaving the Boneyard Bistro

Jessica Simpson, whose first child is due on April 20, was caught in a downpour with fiancé Eric Johnson yesterday while leaving the Boneyard Bistro in Los Angeles.

Jessica Simpson, 31, who was obviously expecting better weather, was soaked through in a brightly covered maxi dress that clung to her large bump and was wearing flip-flops and sunglasses.

She has not been shy when it has come to discussing her pregnancy or showing off her burgeoning belly.

Recently, Jessica Simpson refuted claims that she was carrying twins and explained the cause of her huge belly on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show.

Jessica Simpson told Jimmy Kimmel: “Apparently I have a lot of amniotic fluid, so whenever my water breaks it will be like a fire hydrant!”

She also appeared naked on the cover of April’s Elle magazine and said that the Demi Moore inspired photo was all her idea.

“They didn’t even ask me to do that,” Jessica Simpson said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show.

“It was my idea. It kind of just seemed a natural thing for me to do.

“I’m like 170 pounds and I wanted to pose nude.”

“I try to be like 110 pounds. It’s funny to be at your heaviest and feel the most confident. I just take such pride in being a mom! I just love my body more than ever now.”
