Steve Jobs died last Wednesday, October 5, at the age of 56 at his home in Palo Alto and no post-mortem examination was performed.
He was buried on Friday, October 7.
According to the Associated Press news agency, Steve Jobs’ death certificate was released by the Santa Clara County Public Health Department on Monday.
Steve Jobs announced that he was suffering from pancreatic cancer in 2004. The former Apple CEO had a liver transplant in 2009.
At the beginning of this year, Steve Jobs took medical leave, before formally resigning as Apple CEO in August and handing over his duties to Tim Cook.
Steve Jobs died the next day after Apple launched its latest iPhone, the 4S version.
