Travel could be slightly down across the countries, but Las Vegas is still the number one destination for tourists who wants a getaway on Labor Day, said AAA.
Around 291,000 persons will gather to the Strip on Labor Day weekend (a 3 percent increase over last year), said experts.
“The visitors coming are going to spend $178 million, and that doesn’t include gaming. So we’re looking forward to a good weekend” said Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
There are lots attractions that lure people to Las Vegas this weekend, music (electro, house and trance are the main genres) and fancy parties.
Derrick Rose and Amber Rose will host a pool party at Palms Pool on Sunday, while Pauly D and The Pharcyde will entertain the guests on Friday and Saturday.
Rain Nightclub, Marquee Dayclub and Nightclub, Encore Beachclub, Surrender Nightclub, XS, Tao Beach, Wet Republic, Haze, Tryst, Nikki Beach Las Vegas are some of the venues that have prepared exciting revelries.
The New Boyz, Fatboy Slim & Chuckie, Afrojack & Calvin Harris, Sebastian Ingrosso, DJ Vice, Will.i.am, Steve Angello, Kaskade & Pete Tong, DJ Reach, Robbie Rivera, Cedric Gervais, LMFAO, Erick Morillo, Boris & Oscar G, Tiesto, Avicii, Above & Beyond, Paul Van Dyk will perform during the Labor Day Weekend 2011.
On Monday, Identity Festival, held at Mandalay Bay Resort will feature: Kaskade, Pretty Lights, Afrojack, Rusko, Pete Tong, Burns (at Skullcandy) and Steve Aoki, The Crystal Method, Holly Ghost, Nero Doorly, The Eye (at Rockstar Energy Drink x Dim Mak).
Labor Day Weekend Las Vegas 2011 ends on September 5, but there are other events to come (pro football starts next week, big conventions are scheduled for the end of the year).
