Former police SWAT team supervisor Brian Weir filed suit Monday against the city of Beverly Hills and its police department, alleging he was removed from his position for reporting that a fellow officer disturbed the scene of Whitney Houston’s death in 2012.
Officer Brian Weir’s lawsuit alleges that then-Det. Sgt. Terry Nutall lifted the sheet covering Whitney Houston’s body and commented: “Damn, she’s still looking good, huh?”
Whitney Houston was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on February 11, 2012. She was 48. The Los Angeles County Coroner determined that she died of accidental drowning, with cocaine use and heart disease as contributing factors.
Brian Weir’s lawsuit alleges that then-Det. Sgt. Terry Nutall lifted the sheet covering Whitney Houston’s body and made inappropriate comments
Brian Weir’s lawsuit alleges that as the senior patrol sergeant on duty, he “attempted to secure and preserve the scene of the death” and had placed a sheet over Houston’s body to “prevent contamination” before Terry Nutall arrived and removed it “to an area below the pubic region.”
He alleges he was removed from his position as head of the department’s SWAT team after reporting the alleged misconduct. The suit, filed on his behalf by attorney Christopher Brizzolara, seeks unspecified damages for pain and suffering and loss of special unit pay.
Terry Nutall has since been promoted to lieutenant.
Police spokesman Lt. Lincoln Hoshino said Terry Nutall was near the Whitney Houston death scene and was the detective division sergeant on duty, which meant it was appropriate for him to respond.

Bobbi Kristina Brown revealed she is married to Nick Gordon
Sources told Us Weekly at the time that Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family members didn’t approve of the relationship.
Prior to her February 2012 death, Whitney Houston informally adopted Nick Gordon when he was 12 years old; he lived with the family throughout his teens.
In July 2013, Bobbi Kristina Brown announced that their engagement was back on and clarified the nature of their relationship.
“Yes, me and Nick are engaged. I’m tired of hearing people say, <<Eww you’re engaged to your brother>> or <<If Whitney was still alive, would we be together or would she approve of this?>>” she wrote on Facebook.
“Let me clear up something, we aren’t even real brother and sister, nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating.”

Cissy Houston and Bobbi Kristina Brown’s relationship soured after the publication of a tell-all memoir about Whitney Houston’s life, career and personal struggles.
However, Cissy Houston, 79, has attempted to build bridges with granddaughter Bobbi Kristina Brown by penning a candid letter in which she offers her opinion on the 20-year-old’s current relationship, their shared grief and the controversial book that originally drove a wedge between them.
Cissy Houston published Remembering Whitney: My Story of Love, Loss and the Night Music Stopped in February, but intimate details about her daughter’s marriage to Bobby Brown, her long battle with cocaine addiction, a rumored gay affair and her eventual, untimely death at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in 2012, aged 48, enraged her granddaughter.
Writing on Twitter at the time, Bobbi Kristina Brown furiously dismissed her grandmother’s memoir as lies with the tweet: “I KNOW THE TRUTH.”
She added: “I haven’t read and won’t … I find it to be disrespectful to my mother and me being her daughter won’t tolerate it.”
Cissy Houston and Bobbi Kristina Brown’s relationship soured after the publication of a tell-all memoir about Whitney Houston’s life, career and personal struggles
Whitney Houston’s only child with Bobby Brown is currently engaged to long-term boyfriend Nick Gordon – something Cissy Houston was quick to address in her open letter, which has been published online.
Cissy Houston writes: “Do I want you to get married in the near future? No, I don’t. I think you’re too young and I wish you’d wait. But that’s because I’m Grandma.
“I’m supposed to worry about you. I’m supposed to wonder if Nick or ANY man is good enough for you, My Baby’s Baby.
“I’m not angry with Nick and I don’t think, nor did I ever say anything hurtful about him to anyone. I have NEVER publicly commented on your personal life and I don’t intend to.
“So in the future when you read or hear that Cissy Houston said this or said that, be confident in the knowledge that it isn’t true.”
Former gospel star Cissy Houston – who provided backing vocals for the likes of Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett and Elvis Presley during the sixties and seventies – also touched on her book, conceding that she understand why Bobbi Kristina Brown would feel so angry about it.
She adds: “…but I hope one day you’ll read it and understand that I just wanted to let the world see some of My Nippy – the sweet, friendly, loving little girl with the extraordinary beauty and boundless talent, who grew into the superstar and musical icon the world saw.
“I want people to know – fans and critics and ordinary people alike – Nippy was a whole person, and like all of us, she was good and bad AND she was my joy!!”
A rep speaking on behalf of Cissy Houston later confirmed there was no ulterior motive behind the 550 word letter.
“No, it’s from the heart,” they told Parade.
It appears Bobbi Kristina Brown has dropped out of Celebrity Big Brother.
According to The Sun, Bobbi Kristina Brown, 20, had withdrawn from the program after receiving online abuse after the news broke that she was going in the house.
The paper also quoted a Channel Five insider as saying that despite having a large budget, they are having problems attracting the big US names they need to get the big ratings.
The source said: “They knew there were guaranteed fireworks with her in the house and hoped they’d also get some revelations about Whitney.”

Adding: “But she did a massive U-turn and sent the bosses into a panic. As it stands they’ve got loads of money to spend but they’re struggling to find anyone to give it to.”
Whitney Houston’s only daughter last month shocked fans when she announced her engagement to Nick Gordon, the boy Whitney raised as her own son, making him a brother of sorts to Bobbi Kristina Brown.
Their relationship has been the subject of much controversy and scrutiny given that the couple essentially grew up as siblings.
Bobbi Kristina’s father Bobby Brown stated that he was not happy with the news and berated Nick Gordon for not asking for his daughter’s hand in marriage.
So far, other names that have been linked with this year’s Celebrity Big Brother includes ’90s RnB star Mark Morrison and Dustin Diamond, who played Screech in 90s TV show Saved By The Bell.
And whilst they were both big stars in their heyday, they’ve largely faded into obscurity ever since.
Celebrity Big Brother is due to air on Thursday and is rumored to also be featuring disgraced former football commentator Ron Atkinson, model Sophie Anderton and Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby.
James Blunt pays tribute to late Whitney Houston in his new single Miss America.
In the brand new track from his fourth studio album Moon Landing, James Blunt, 39, offers an acoustic ballad which speaks of the personal connection fans feel they have with singers, musicians and bands because of the media spotlight upon them.
Allowing the lyrics and melodies to work for themselves, the music video just shows James Blunt with simply a grand piano as his accompaniment.
The allusions to Whitney Houston are clear from the first line which asks “did someone give you something to help you ease the pain, like the liquor in a bottle we watched you slip away”.
In 2012, on February 11, Whitney Houston was found unconscious and submerged in the bathtub of her her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death was down to the “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use” according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
James Blunt pays tribute to late Whitney Houston in his new single Miss America
Considered one of the greatest singers of all time, Whitney Houston loss was felt across the world, and just like the reaction to Princess Diana’s death in 1997, her death caused global mourning for the people, like James Blunt, who felt like they knew her “through the bars of a song”.
A sombre first release from James Blunt’s upcoming album, his following tracks will continue an emotionally charged theme.
James Blunt worked again with producer Tom Rothrock – who worked with James on his multi-platinum selling debut Back To Bedlam – and also brought in Martin Terefe who has credits in the musical work of KT Tunstall, Martha Wainwright and Jason Mraz.
Discussing the album’s name, James Blunt said: “There’s just something romantic, old-school and lonely about the moon landings. A nostalgic memory of something huge that we can hardly believe we once achieved, and for some sad reason, can’t achieve again – like first love.
“This is a much more personal album, and also quite back to basics. It’s about me and Tom, the producer, finding where the story all started and where we are now.
“I’m not trying to prove anything,” James Blunt continued.
“I haven’t been trying to second-guess the audience or over-thinking things. It’s just me alone in a sound-booth, looking through the glass at Tom, trying to express myself simply and honestly. This is the album I would have recorded, perhaps, if Back To Bedlam hadn’t sold anything.”
The first single from James Blunt’s new record will be Bonfire Heart on October 7, with the album available on October 21.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter, announced that she had got engaged to Nick Gordon just last week.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 20, already pressed fast-forward to the honeymoon as she’s been enjoying a very public PDA with her “brother” fiancé Nick Gordon in the warm Florida water.
She has been showing off her shapely body and her affection for 24-year-old Nick Gordon on her summer break.
Nick Gordon is the boy Whitney Houston took in when he was 16.
However, one person who isn’t pleased about the big announcement is Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown.
Bobby Brown, 44, told TMZ that he’s not happy about the news and is irked that Nick Gordon never called him to ask for his daughter’s hand in marriage, but he did add that he wants her to be happy.
Rather than celebrating her news, Bobbi Kristina Brown came out of the traps to defend herself last week.
Bobbi Kristina Brown announced that she had got engaged to Nick Gordon
Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon’s relationship has been the subject of scrutiny and a fair amount of eyebrow raising since Whitney Houston passed away in February 2012.
And so Bobbi Kristina Brown tackled the scandal in the post on her Facebook page last Wednesday.
She writes: “YES, we me nick are engaged. I’m tired of hearing people say <<eww your engaged to your brother or if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this>>.
“Let me clear up something, we aren’t even real brother and sister nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating. My mom knows me better than any of you.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown continued: “A lot of ‘yall are saying that y’all are only saying this all out of love. Which is bull because if that was so, all you would want is for me to be happy.
“People need to seriously stop judging my relationship. Pretty sure it’s my own decision who I want to be with.
“Yes, my relationship may not be perfect. We will have rough patches, just like every other relationship.
“And we have had our rough patches. You may or may not agree with my relationship. You may or may not respect it. Judge me, go ahead.
‘Your opinions are yours and mine are mine. It is my life and not yours. The decisions I make have nothing to do with you. Goodnight.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown looked like she was back to her best as she enjoyed a morning run in Georgia this weekend.
Whitney Houston’s daughter looked in high spirits as she stretched her legs in the summer sunshine.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 20, wore a running vest and bottoms, and had the tricky task of juggling a bottle of water, mobile phone and a banana in her hands.
She and her on-off boyfriend and “brother” Nick Gordon were said to be the subject of at least ten different noise complaints, leading up to her moving out of her previous abode in Georgia earlier this month.
A friend of a neighbor also revealed on Reddit that Bobbi Kristina Brown left an angry note for her neighbors following the supposed eviction in which she labeled them “s*** on the bottom of our shoe”.

The friend revealed: “My friend and his family live in the apartment under Bobbi Kristina Brown.”
“After 6 months of complaints, she was finally kicked out. He found this on his door today.”
However, Bobbi Kristina Brown took to Twitter to deny she had been forced out of her home.
“Awoke2CrazyNeighborStory(:” she wrote, adding: “Ichoose2move(: THEY were the nightmare.”
But neighbor Joshua Morse disagreed, saying he and his wife have filed at least ten different complaints about the noise coming from Bobbi Kristina Brown’s apartment, as well as revealing the existence of the note.
Bobbi Kristina Brown wrote: “Thank You for making a hard year harder. You are a miserable couple and always will be.
“You were honored to have us living above you and you couldn’t stand such a young beautiful couple far more successful than you ever will be.”

Whitney Houston’s daughter lived in the apartment with Nick Gordon, who she reportedly split with romantically in November last year, after he tweeted: “@REALbkBrown and I are not engaged or dating. Just close like we have always been.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown attempted to defend her romantic relationship with Nick Gordon to her extended family on Lifetime’s The Houstons: On Our Own last year.
“We’re engaged,” she said on the episode as she showed of a ring that was once her mother’s.
“Everyone gets it wrong, I was never officially… it’s not incest.”

A female passenger was kicked off from an American Airlines plane after the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing as she refused to stop singing Whitney Houston’s hit song I Will Always Love You.
Her performance began shortly into the flight from Los Angeles to New York and her crooning quickly became too much for passengers and staff on the domestic flight last Thursday.
The pilot was forced to change course halfway through the six hour flight and make an unscheduled stop at Kansas City so officers could escort the woman from the plane.
Airport spokesman Joe McBride told WBTV: “The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew.

“There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane.”
Despite staff telling passengers they could not take photographs while on board the aircraft, one managed to briefly film the woman being escorted down the aircraft’s aisle in handcuffs – still singing the 1990s pop song.
The woman was interviewed and later released without charge.
While the song she chose to entertain her fellow passengers with is best known for Whitney Houston’s cover in the film The Bodyguard, it was originally released by country singer-songwriter Dolly Parton in 1974.

In documents filed in her home state of New Jersey this month, Dionne Warwick listed about $21,000 in monthly income and a similar amount in monthly expenses.
Her publicist said she had “repeatedly attempted to offer re-payment plans and proposals to the IRS and the California Franchise Tax Board for taxes owed”.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released files spanning a decade from 1988 to 1999 detailing three investigations it conducted on behalf of Whitney Houston.
Whitney Houston died in a hotel bathroom on February 11, 2012.
The records, numbering more than 120 pages, were posted online on Monday, showing letters from obsessed fans and an alleged extortion attempt in 1992.
The FBI found no crime actually occurred and there was no evidence of criminal threats in the fan mail.
Following Whitney Houston’s marriage to New Edition singer Bobby Brown in 1992, the files show someone considered to be a close friend and “privy to much personal information” had allegedly attempted to blackmail her to the tune of $250,000, threatening to put private information into the public arena unless she paid out.
Whitney Houston was interviewed by the FBI at the New Jersey offices of her management company about the extortion investigation, but the records are heavily redacted.
A fan in Vermont, New England proclaimed his love through more than 70 letters in a 17-month period, sent to Whitney Houston at the height of her fame.
One letter read: “I tried to ignore what I felt towards her. After five months I had to do something so I started writing letters.”
Later in the same letter, the fan referred to a plan to make his love for Whitney Houston’s public through the press, though he was afraid would hurt the singer’s reputation.
He wrote: “It scares me that I might come up with some crazy or stupid or really dumb idea that might be as bad as that or even worse than that. I might hurt someone with some crazy idea and not realize how stupid an idea is until I have done it.”

Cissy Houston has opened up about daughter Whitney and her decision to write a book about the late superstar.
Talking from New York to Daybreak on Wednesday, as the one year anniversary of Whitney Houston’s death approaches, Cissy Houston reveals that her daughter “wanted a normal life but she became a star”.
Whitney Houston’s mother also reveals that her daughter’s fate could have been different if she hadn’t met Bobby Brown, and that she wrote the book “to let people know the real Whitney”.
Cissy Houston, 79, who was also a singer, begins her discussion about her daughter, who was found dead on February 11 2012, by saying: “She was everything to me. She was a wonderful, giving person.”
She went on to speak about how her daughter really just wanted to be the girl next door but she couldn’t live the life of a normal person once she became a star.
When Lorraine asks her: “And even though she was a superstar, you think she maybe wanted the quiet life?”
Cissy Houston replies: “Yes, that’s what she really wanted. She always said, <<All I wanted to do was sing>>. But she came and God blessed her. And she was happy about that but only sometimes I guess.”
The conversation soon turned to Whitney Houston’s much-talk about marriage to Bobby Brown and whether her life would have been different if she had never had met him.
Agreeing with this sentiment, Cissy Houston replied: “I really do. She just happened to fall in love I guess with someone that really wasn’t for her. They were from two different worlds.”
Cissy Houston reveals that Whitney Houston’s fate could have been different if she hadn’t met Bobby Brown, and that she wrote the book “to let people know the real Whitney”
At the time of Whitney’s death Cissy Houston said that she felt angry about what had happened, but a year on her feelings have changed.
“I’m not angry, I’m not angry any more. I was angry that my daughter was dead,” she said.
It wasn’t just Cissy Houston who suffered after Whitney’s death, the singer’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown is still coming to terms with what happened.
Cissy Houston admitted: “She’s grieving.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown is reportedly not too happy about the book’s publication and when prompted on this, her grandmother answered: “She’s a person and has a mind of her own. And she’s grieving.”
But at the end of the day Cissy Houston just wants her daughter to be remembered in a good light.
When asked by Lorraine how she would like her daughter to be remembered, Cissy Houston said: “That she was one of the greatest singers that lived, and she was a wonderful person.
“She gave to charities. I’d just like for her to be remembered for the songstress that she was.”
Tweeting about her grandmother’s book Remembering Whitney, Bobbi Kristina Brown wrote: “ANYTHING concerning my grandmothers Book I & @nickdgordon OF COURSE personally have NOTHING 2 do with I ask you pls RESPECT that Haven’t read & won’t.”

Cissy Houston has told how she forced daughter Whitney into rehab after finding the singer’s home had been turned into a drug den.
As the first anniversary of Whitney Houston’s death approaches next month, Cissy Houston is still traumatized by her drowning in a Beverley Hilton hotel bath at the age of 48.
But in her memoirs, Remembering Whitney, Cissy Houston admits: “She started partying and she didn’t really know how to stop. I used to wonder what she was doing at night, where she was.”
According to the extract obtained by People Magazine, Cissy Houston continues to ask herself: “Could I have saved her?”
In a serialization in the Sun, Cissy Houston first realized Whitney had problems when she arrived unannounced at the mansion in Atlanta, Georgia, the singer shared with her husband, Bobby Brown, and their daughter Bobbi Kristina.
Cissy Houston, 79, had been called by her son Gary in early 2005 warning her: “Ma, I think Nippy [Whitney Houston family’s pet name] is really in trouble.” He travelled everywhere with the singer.
Inside, the multi-million house was filthy, but Cissy Houston’s biggest shock came when she saw “big glaring eyes and strange faces” spray painted on the walls and door.
Then in another room, she discovered Whitney Houston’s head had been cut out of a large framed photograph of her with her husband and daughter.
Cissy Houston recalled: “Evil eyes staring out like a threat. Who would do such a thing it seemed crazy. It was beyond disturbing to seeing my daughter’s face cut out like that. It was frightening.”
Cissy Houston has told how she forced daughter Whitney into rehab after finding the singer’s home had been turned into a drug den
In Remembering Whitney, due to be published by Harper and Collins on January 31st, Cissy Houston tells how her daughter yelled at her and refused to come downstairs.
Cissy Houston said Whitney looked as if she was on drugs and did not recognize the woman who was a worldwide star with many Grammy music awards and acclaim as an actress.
She left the house but vowed to save Whitney, returning with a court order and two women police deputies. The petition had been signed by eight people and a doctor who had seen the singer in the past 48 hours.
When they arrived, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown were at the doorway. She was shaking as Cissy Houston told her they were taking her into rehab.
Whitney Houston was in hospital for a week, but banned her mother from visiting telling everybody who came to see her that her mother had had “her locked up”.
In 2006 Whitney Houston broke up with Bobby Brown but she never really forgave her mother’s interference in her life, according to the memoirs.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey to be broadcast on Monday, Cissy Houston, a singer in the 60s and 70s, reveals how son Gary told her in a phone call of her daughter’s death at the Los Angeles hotel on February 11 last year.
She said: “I was getting annoyed because he wasn’t telling me anything. He was screaming. He was saying, Nippy, Nippy. I said, <<what’s wrong with her?>>.
“He said, <<Mommy>>, I said, <<Is she dead?>>. He said, <<Yeah, Mommy, she’s dead>>. And I don’t remember too much else after that.”
In the People magazine extract she said: “I’m angry she died alone, in those conditions.”
Cissy Houston says she does not blame Bobby Brown for Whitney’s drug addiction.
“I blame him for the way he treated her, but I don’t blame him for her drug problems,” Cissy Houston is quoted as saying.
“He was no help to her at all.”
As Whitney Houston’s drugs-ravaged body lay cold under a sheet in her suite at a Beverly Hills hotel, elsewhere in the building a Grammy Awards party was being thrown by her long-time mentor Clive Davis.
Later, while guests including Britney Spears, Diana Ross, Jane Fonda and Sir Richard Branson were swanning out of the front entrance, Whitney Houston’s corpse was being hustled ignominiously out of a side door.
It’s difficult to imagine how Whitney Houston’s demise – in a bath last February – could have been more melodramatic. But now startling new claims suggest an extraordinary twist.
Paul Huebl, a Los Angeles private investigator, who has probed celebrity drugs cases and suspicious deaths, sensationally alleges that 48-year-old Whitney Houston was murdered by two thugs sent by high-powered East Coast drug dealers to collect on a $1.5 million debt.
Former police officer Paul Huebl says he has presented the FBI with what he insists is compelling evidence that Whitney Houston was targeted by the two men, who were part of a group of scruffily dressed hangers-on. He says the pair were unknown to most, but not all, of Whitney Houston’s huge entourage, which repeatedly visited her hotel room in her final days.
Incredibly, Paul Huebl even claims the men were captured on the hotel’s CCTV going into the singer’s suite – No. 434 – at the luxurious Beverly Hilton around the time she died.
Whitney Houston was discovered face down in a scalding bath by her assistant, who had left her for just 45 minutes while she went out to run errands. When paramedics arrived, Whitney Houston was unresponsive. They performed CPR for about 20 minutes before declaring her dead.
A coroner ruled that the death of the greatest singer of her age had been due to accidental drowning, with heart disease and chronic cocaine abuse listed as contributory factors. An “acute dose” of cocaine was found in her system as well as a cocktail of other drugs, including marijuana and prescription sedatives.
As theories swirled about Whitney Houston’s untimely death, it emerged she was in so much debt that she was having to ask for $100 handouts from her friends. (Her hotel suite had been paid for by Clive Davis.)
But could her mountain of debt really have led to her death?
Paul Huebl explained the scenario he insists accounts for unexplained details in the official coroner’s report.
He said about new evidence he has unearthed.
Paul Huebl will not say who hired him to look into Whitney Houston’s death but does confirm it is not Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and one-time manager who claimed the star was the victim of a murder conspiracy – only to suddenly, and unaccountably, change her mind.
He said: “Every indication is that it’s a murder. I’ve got some evidence that is pretty glaring, and I’ve turned it over to the appropriate law-enforcement agency.”
Paul Huebl says unnamed informants have told him that surveillance video footage exists of the two men he claims are involved, entering Whitney Houston’s suite shortly after 2:45 p.m. on the day she died – February 11 – while her assistant was out.
He believes they demanded the money she owed their bosses, and when she refused to give it to them, “things got physical”.
Although Whitney Houston’s assistant informed police that the last thing she told the singer before she went out was to have a bath, Paul Huebl thinks Whitney was thrown in the water by one or more assailants. And what might have started out as an attempt to scare her, ended in murder.
The evidence for the alleged struggle, he says, lies in the coroner’s report. The coroner, for instance, noted that a large area of skin on Whitney Houston’s lower back was burnt off – so-called “skin slippage” – by the scalding bath water. The water was so hot that six hours after she died it was 93.5F (33 C).
Even someone high on cocaine wouldn’t “willingly” get into a bath that hot, says Paul Huebl, who adds: “She obviously had <<help>>.”
As for the report’s revelations that Whitney Houston had injuries on her forearms and hands, Paul Huebl claims these are “consistent with her having a pretty nasty struggle and consistent with classic defence wounds”.
“There were bruises on her arms and shoulders, a cut on her upper lip, scrapes to her nose and forehead, and lacerations to her scalp.”
Paul Huebl sensationally alleges that 48-year-old Whitney Houston was murdered by two thugs sent by high-powered East Coast drug dealers to collect on a $1.5 million debt
In fact, Whitney Houston had so many injuries it looked as though she’d been in a boxing match, he says.
“Call this an accident if you want, but it doesn’t make sense to me.”
He believes that after Whitney Houston was killed, her assailants ransacked her suite, took money, drugs and jewellery, and left before her assistant returned.
Pal Huebl, whose investigation was first reported in the National Enquirer, is by no means the first person to have been puzzled by Whitney Houston’s death and her bizarre behavior in her final days.
In the early hours of her last day, a stoned-looking Whitney Houston was seen on her hotel balcony, shouting: “I’m tired of this s***!”
Some people have wondered if it was a cry of desperation from a superstar who realized her precious voice – with its famous three-and-a-half octave range – was gone forever.
But Paul Huebl believes it was a cry from the heart over the harassment she was getting to repay the money she owed her drug dealers.
He says he was told by an informant that Whitney Houston had earlier taken possession of a new supply of cocaine and been partying with a small group of people, including her killers, in her suite until around 4:00 a.m. When she refused to pay them, they left and returned later that day with fatal consequences.
As Paul Huebl notes, Whitney Houston had a “risky lifestyle” including heroin and crack-cocaine abuse, and inevitably surrounded herself with others involved in that criminal world.
As to the identities of her alleged killers, Paul Huebl clearly has his suspicions. However, he will say only that Whitney Houston’s alleged murder could have its roots in more than one state. He claims drug-world sources have told him that people from New Jersey and Georgia – states where Whitney Houston has lived – were involved.
Paul Huebl adds that he approached the FBI because it has no connection with the police force that undertook the original investigation and because it is responsible for cross-state crimes.
When asked why Beverly Hills police have not acted on the allegedly damning hotel CCTV evidence, which presumably they must have seen, Paul Huebl pointedly says: “I should ask them.” (Neither the FBI nor the Beverly Hills Police Department have commented on his claims.)
However, he told the National Enquirer he believed the police and coroner were “happy to sweep Whitney’s death under the rug, calling it accidental and closing their investigation”.
Paul Huebl also believes that at least some of Whitney Houston’s entourage “know what happened”.
In April, Beverly Hills police concluded that foul play was not involved. Detectives based their decision on the coroner’s findings that the singer’s death was due to accidental drowning and, in part, the result of cocaine ingestion and a heart condition.
The 41-page coroner’s report found that Houston was submerged in bath water for nearly an hour, and that her personal assistant had last seen her alive between 2:35 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
So should we give any credence to Paul Huebl’s theory? Certainly, it’s easy to dismiss it as the product of a fevered imagination, or cynical publicity-seeking. Except that in Whitney Houston’s case, her life had become such a sordid train wreck that anything seemed possible by the end – including vengeful drug dealers prepared to maim and kill.
Whitney Houston’s final public performance two nights before her death spoke volumes about how low she’d sunk from the days when the world and Kevin Costner swooned at every quivering note of I Will Always Love You in The Bodyguard film.
She staggered on stage at a tiny Hollywood club called Tru, drunk, puffy-faced and dishevelled, to sing a dreadful one-minute duet of Yes, Jesus Loves Me with soul singer Kelly Price.
Whitney Houston ended up in a fight with another singer, then left with her hangers-on and blood trickling down her leg.
She spent the next night (her last) in the bar of her hotel, drinking heavily and treating staff and fellow guests to her trademark behavior of wandering around, flailing her arms, doing handstands and burbling unintelligibly. The following afternoon she was dead.
Her long-time friend Robyn Crawford said afterwards: “I don’t know what kind of pressure she was putting on herself.”
While family members and close friends insisted Whitney Houston had shaken off drugs, others – including therapists who spoke to her relatives – claimed her loved ones had cynically ignored her drug abuse because they were relying on her as their breadwinner.
Whitney Houston was by her own admission “no angel”, however much her marketing people tried to manipulate her image.
Friends revealed that the singer was taking drugs before she even met Bobby Brown, the ex-gang member, convicted criminal and drug addict who became her husband and supposedly ruined her.
In 2006, a few months before the couple got divorced, Bobby Brown’s sister Tina sold shocking pictures of Whitney Houston’s bathroom in her mansion, which the star had turned into a crack den. Her teeth had fallen out from drug use, and she was so incontinent she was wearing nappies.
Associates told newspapers that Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown used to cruise the streets of New Jersey and Atlanta in chauffeur-driven limos, looking for crack.
In the Nineties, Whitney Houston was reported to have paid $750,000 to one drug dealer alone.
According to Globe magazine, she owed $1.5 million to drug suppliers when she died.
Whether or not the murder theory has any credence, Whitney Houston’s death was a particularly pitiful end for a star who, thanks to her legions of black and white fans across the world, represented a color-blind show business world.
Her demise became a polarizing moment in much of America. Amid the national grieving, some commentators condemned Whitney Houston as a disgusting junkie who squandered her huge talents and deserved no eulogies.
Whitney Houston was murdered by drug dealers and a new surveillance video proves it, claims Paul Huebl, a Hollywood private investigator.
Paul Huebl says he has turned over evidence to the FBI that shows 48-year-old Whitney Houston was killed over a drug debt in February.
The medical examiner ruled that Whitney Houston drowned in her bathtub at the Beverley Hilton hotel after taking a cocktail of cocaine, marijuana and several legal drugs.
The National Enquirer is reporting that Paul Huebl believes the troubled star was targeted by several “high powered drug dealers who sent thugs to collect a huge debt she owed for drugs”.
Whitney Houston owed $1.5 million to drug dealers, according to some reports.
However, Paul Huebl said he doesn’t know for certain that Whitney Houston was killed – only that evidence he collected could point in that direction.
Paul Huebl says that Whitney Houston received a delivery of cocaine to her room the day before her death and could be heard saying: “I’m tired of this sh*t.”
He says Whitney Houston had previously been subjected to harassment dealers trying to collect on her debt.
Whitney Houston was murdered by drug dealers and a new surveillance video proves it, claims Paul Huebl, a Hollywood private investigator
Paul Huebl says he obtained surveillance video that shows two unknown men who repeatedly went to the Beverly Hilton and integrated themselves into Whitney Houston’s entourage.
The private investigator claims these are the men who slipped into Whitney Houston’s hotel room and killed her.
He also disagrees with the Los Angeles County Coroner’s ruling that the star’s death was “accidental”.
“Whitney’s body shows classic defense wounds that would have occurred while she was battling for her life,” he told the Enquirer.
However, Paul Huebl conceded that the marks on her hands and fingernails could have been obtained in some other ways and that they were only “suspected” defensive wounds.
The private investigator said he also has evidence that Whitney Houston’s hotel room was ransacked, showing further hints of a violent struggle.
Paul Huebl says he gave his evidence to the Chicago field office of the FBI in the hopes that the agency will open a criminal investigation.
“I think that if you put all these things together, they do kind of spell homicide, with a big red capital <<H>>,” he said.
Paul Heubl, a former Chicago police officer who became an actor after he retired, says he conducted the investigation after being hired by a client who did not believe the official reports on Houston’s death.
He believes Beverley Hills police did not fully investigate Houston’s death because they did not want to bring the negative attention to Beverly Hills or to the Beverly Hilton.
Paul Huebl would not say who hired him.
Whitney Houston, One Direction and super hit Gangnam Style topped global searches on Google in 2012.
Whitney Houston, whose death in February shocked fans, was the most searched.
Teen heart-throbs One Direction topped the image search charts – with band member Harry Styles individually seventh most popular.
On Facebook, politics took centre stage – Barack Obama and Mitt Romney were the most discussed figures in the US.
The social network grouped its top trends in a special 2012 section.
In the US, the presidential election dominated discussion over the year, followed by excitement around the Super Bowl.
The London Olympics was the fifth most discussed topic in the US, whereas in the UK it understandably came out on top, beating chatter about steamy novel Fifty Shades of Grey into second place.
In third, Rylan Clark – a flamboyant yet divisive contestant on this year’s X Factor series.

Google’s results – which exclude pornography-related queries – give an honest glimpse into the psyche of the world’s internet users.
The company measures its chart by assessing what terms have had the greater increase of traffic when compared to 2011.
As it often does, “What is love?” topped the list in 10 countries, with “how to kiss” and “how to flirt” also popular for the presumably unlucky-in-love searchers.
The list also reveals some guilty pleasures. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, the reality show following the life of child beauty pageant participant Alana Thompson, was the third most searched for TV programme worldwide.
Topping the TV list was Big Brother Brazil and soap opera Avenida Brasil.
There were also massive spikes for people who until this year the wider public probably did not know anything about.
Austrian daredevil Felix Baumgartner, whose record-breaking skydive captivated millions around the world, placed sixth in the list of most discussed individuals.
While Amanda Todd, the US teenager who took her own life after posting a message about being bullied on YouTube, was the world’s third most discussed individual.

Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s ex-boyfriend, was listening to Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You when he was arrested for reckless driving last week.
The “adopted” son of late Whitney Houston, who recently called off his engagement to Bobbi Kristina Brown, was taken into custody in Alpharetta, Georgia last Wednesday after being caught speeding through the town.
According to gossip website TMZ, Nick Gordon had Whitney Houston’s classic tune blaring on his car radio.
Nick Gordon was listening to Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You when he was arrested for reckless driving
Nick Gordon, 22, was cited for reckless driving and speeding and is due in court in February with a law enforcement official saying: “We are fortunate because that’s such a busy corridor with high end retail shopping restaurants and pedestrians at crosswalks.”
His arrest came hours after Bobbi Kristina Borwn lost control of her Chevy Camaro when leaving her apartment complex and drove down an embankment before coming to a stop on a local park trail.
Bobbi Kristina Brown was cited by police for “failure to maintain lane”.
Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon have called time on their romantic relationship, new reports suggest.
The pair announced their engagement last month in a preview for her family’s upcoming reality show The Houstons: On Our Own, but the couple have now called off their relationship.
Nick Gordon, 23, tweeted on November 18: “@REALbkBrown and I are not engaged or dating. Just close like we have always been.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown later wrote: “Spending time together, sunday night football & Playing with our @nickgordon new 3DS’s! Soooooo… Goodbye !!(:(:(: (sic).”

The following week she also posted a number of cryptic tweets suggesting she is all alone.
She wrote: “I’m leaving , this this good ole town and driving to the send of the world . Maybe it’s beautiful there (: Xxxo. Who do I trust in this world? Pfft well that’s easy beezie, #Myself, No1 will kno’s me like ME&They’d rather not take thtchance2knoME, & 2me.”

“I guess it’s time 4me2stop depending on anymore. It’s my time2follow what Mom&The Lord put out on this path for me. #Thankful. Mom xxo (sic).”
At the time of the car crash, Bobbi Kristina Brown described herself as “Partner of @ndgordon” on her Twitter page.
Nick Gordon was informally adopted by Whitney Houston when he was 12 and the pair were raised as brother and sister.
They were “always close” growing up but their relationship changed as they got older and they sought comfort in each other after Whitney Houston’s death in February and started living like a couple.

The executors of Whitney Houston’s estate have reached an agreement with her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown over payments.
While members of the trust – including Whitney’s mother Cissy and sister-in-law Pat Houston – launched a legal bid to stop the original payment schedule over fears those close to her could take advantage, all parties have now come to an agreement which is similar to the original plan, according to TMZ.
Bobbi Kristina Brown is set to receive her money in three segments, 10% when she turns 21, almost 20% at age 25 and the remainder when she turns 30.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 19, is the sole beneficiary of Whitney Houston’s estate.
Bobbi Kristina Brown is set to receive her money from Whitney Houston in three segments
Slumped at the kitchen table with a glass of wine in front of her, a bleary-eyed Bobbi Kristina Brown slurs her words as she admits: “I’m not OK. I just need time to learn how to live without my mum.”
Unfortunately, Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney Houston’s daughter is not learning that lesson in the private and protective bosom of her family, but in the full glare of cameras recording her every move for a new reality television series, which has just started in America and is likely to screen here soon.
Other scenes in the teaser for the first episode of the ten-part series The Houstons: On Our Own, show Bobbi Kristina Brown being sick, frequently in tears, and announcing her engagement at the age of 19 to her foster brother, Nick Gordon.
It would be heartening to think that, despite the chronic dysfunction of her family life, Krissi, as she’s known to friends and family, will grow into a well-balanced young woman able to put tragedy behind her.
But the fact Bobbi Kristina Brown has signed up to a warts-and-all reality show, while still grieving the sudden death of her 48-year-old singing legend mother in February, does not score highly in any assessment of her judgment.
Nor, many would argue, does her recent engagement to 22-year-old Nick Gordon who grew up with her as her brother, and from whom she has been inseparable since her mother’s death.
Whitney Houston took Nick Gordon into her care when he was 12 and unofficially adopted him when his father went to prison and his mother could reportedly no longer care for him.
A tweet from Nick Gordon in March confirming that he and Bobbi Kristina Brown were in a relationship met with much uproar, given that until then they had known each other as siblings.
The family, already fractured by the tensions of an ongoing inheritance battle, is said to disapprove of the romance.
Whether Bobbi Kristina Brown cares what they think is another matter, given that she has already faced more controversy in 19 years than most people see in a lifetime.
Her mother and father, the singer Bobby Brown, were both drug addicts, and Bobbi Kristina herself was reported to have been caught using cocaine after her mother’s funeral. Last year, she was photographed snorting what was thought to be cocaine and, in another incident, smoking marijuana from a bong.
Her uncle, Gary Houston, admits during the trailer for the reality TV show that he is deeply worried about his niece: “I sympathize with what has happened with Krissi’s mother but I hope we don’t lose her.”
However, it would seem Bobbi Kristina Brown has few reliable people to turn to in her hour of need. Virtually orphaned since her mother’s death – her father has been in and out of rehab and the two of them no longer speak – she is surrounded by relatives who appear to have rather mixed motives.
Friends admit to being concerned for her: “Krissi was her mum’s best friend,” said schoolfriend Duane Allen.
“She talks about her mother all the time and says she still finds herself doing things and wanting to tell her mum. Krissi, her mother and Nick were a very tight-knit family.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s grandmother, Cissy Houston – Whitney’s 79-year-old mother – has condemned the relationship with Nick Gordon as “practically incest”, but some are unsurprised by Krissi reaching out to him.
“He was always there for her to make sure she was all right. I know he loves her,” says Duane Allen.
A family friend, who asked not to be named, described how the unlikely romance began: “Krissi needed someone to cuddle up to at night and invited Nick to sleep in her bed with her.
“The first night they kissed, there was a fair amount of alcohol involved. They both felt weird about developing feelings for each other because they are sort of siblings, but a few drinks changed things and it’s been on ever since.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon still refer to Whitney Houston as “our mother” when they make frequent comments on Twitter together.
Family relationships aside, aspiring rapper and model Nick Gordon, who was pictured on Twitter with a gun earlier this year, is not everyone’s idea of a wholesome partner for a recently bereaved teenager.
There have been rumors about him taking drugs, and many are questioning his relationship with a fragile young woman set to inherit her mother’s fortune, an estimated $11 million, over the next ten years.
However, Bobbi Kristina Brown seems devoted to Nick Gordon.
“She’s caught Nick-itis,” one of her cousins joked.
“Krissi will be the first to tell you she hates being away from Nick even for a few hours,” adds a friend.
“That scares their aunt Pat Houston [Whitney’s best friend and sister-in-law – she married Whitney’s brother Gary] because she sees the same kind of addictive relationship between Krissi and Nick that Whitney had with Bobby. Those sorts of relationships can be very destructive.
“As much as they can’t stand to be apart, they do fight a lot.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown seems bent on following Whitney Houston to destruction
Evidence of this came when the pair were in a car accident last month, said to have been caused by their arguing.
A former school friend says: “Pat is begging them to wait before they even think about getting married, but Krissi insists she is very grown up for her age because she had to act as a parent to her own parents. She’s headstrong, defiant and determined to make it work with Nick.”
Rumors of their engagement first surfaced in August when she started wearing one of her mother’s rings – a giant sapphire and diamonds – on her wedding finger.
Earlier this month, Cissy Houston went to court to try to delay Bobbi Kristina Brown getting hold of any of the money from her mother’s will.
In court documents lodged in Atlanta, Cissy Houston claimed her granddaughter “is a highly visible target for those who would exert undue influence over her inheritance and/or seek to benefit from the respondent’s resources and celebrity”.
Cissy Houston is also said to have pulled out of attending a recent tribute to Whitney because she did not want to see Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon being openly affectionate.
Music industry executive Robert Tencer, who knew both Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston, says Bobbi Kristina is surrounded by “enablers” – people who make constant excuses for their addictions.
“Her father is an enabler. There were stories he would use his daughter to get Whitney’s money when she was still alive. He spends money like it’s going out of fashion. It’s extremely suspicious that she is engaged to her adopted brother. The big question is, who is guiding Krissi?”
Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon live in a $1million three-bedroom town house in Alpharetta, Atlanta, which was Whitney Houston’s home.
Officially, Bobbi Kristina Brown lives under the guardianship of the formidable Pat Houston, who is a trustee of Whitney’s will and lives close by. But while Pat Houston, 59, is a mother herself and might appear to be the most responsible person for the role, questions have been asked about her motives, too.
Pat Houston brokered a dubious deal to profit from footage of Whitney’s funeral service, and is also alleged to be involved in the leaking of pictures to an American tabloid of the Los Angeles hotel room where Whitney died of a heart attack, thought to have been caused by drugs.
Cissy Houston, a religious Baptist, was said to be furious with Pat, accusing her of cashing in on her daughter’s death.
However, Cissy Houston has agreed to do a tell-all book about her daughter’s life for a six-figure sum.
Bobby Brown, meanwhile, seems keen to exploit interest in the Houston family. Already a reality-show veteran, Bobby Brown signed up last month to do a third series based around a new tour and his family life. This is separate to Bobbi Kristina Brown’s show.
Whitney Houston’s phenomenal success made her the family’s cash cow. She sold 170 million records worldwide and her biggest hit, I Will Always Love You, is the best-selling single of all time by a female artist.
And yet she did not die a wealthy woman. Her drug addiction cost her dear, she paid a wage to most members of her family, and her homes were remortgaged.
Whitney Houston staged frequent comebacks, but years of drug and alcohol abuse had impaired her once-incredible voice. By the end of her life, Whitney Houston was said to be living on hand-outs authorized by her record company boss and mentor Clive Davis.
It seems that, like her friend Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston is now worth more dead than alive. But, unlike Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston did not write her own songs, so most of the money raised by the re-release of her albums goes to the songwriters. Her family are having to find inventive new ways to keep money coming in.
Bobbi Kristina Brown harbors her own ambitions to be a star. Having dueted with her mother on stage, she is understood to be in talks about a recording contract. She also had a recent part in a U.S. television comedy for which she attracted good reviews.
Her friend Duane Allen says: “Krissi is really talented in her own right. The reality show should open lots of doors for her. She’s approaching everything positively, and she has her own name to make. I think she’s doing well – better than I could have expected.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon appeared closer than ever as they walked hand-in-hand around New York City.
The two enjoyed a romantic stroll on Tuesday, hours after the premiere party for the Lifetime reality series The Houstons: On Our Own, about the lives of Whitney Houston’s family members.
Bobbi Kristina Brown was pictured smiling as she left her hotel with her brother-turned-lover Nick Gordon yesterday for their afternoon stroll.
Dressed in jeans, a black tank top, a matching leather jacket and boots, the 19-year-old appeared delighted to be spending time with her significant other.
A preview clip from the series released exclusively to E!Online earlier this month allegedly confirmed that she is in fact engaged to Nick Gordon.
According to reports on E!Online, Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of late singer Whitney Houston, shocks her family when she tells them of her plans to wed Nick Gordon.
The website claims that Bobbi Kristina Brown announces the news as she laughs, saying: “We’re engaged!”
Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon appeared closer than ever as they walked hand-in-hand around New York City
Bobbi Kristina Brown arrived on Nick Gordon’s arm on Monday night at the premiere party for the series in New York.
She was even photographed spinning around for the cameras, clearly at ease in the limelight, and flaunting her huge “engagement ring”.
In another teaser trailer for the series, the family members of the Houston clan are seen worrying over Bobbi Kristina Brown’s relationship with Nick Gordon.
During the clip Gary Houston, Whitney’s brother, appears to disapprove of their bond, as he has a heated discussion with Nick Gordon.
Gary Houston says: “No one knew that from a godson you would turn into a boyfriend. No one knew that.”
With the 22-year-old stating: “The family has me out to be a bad person.”
And determined to make her family accept her blossoming romance, Bobbi Kristina Brown firmly asserts: “They want to see us fail. We won’t.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon lived together as siblings for more than a decade before Whitney Houston’s death in February, with Nick considered to be the superstar’s unofficial adopted son.
