Sources close to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West say the 32-year-old, who is already said to have lost 30 lbs, is still attempting to lose another 30 off her frame.

And until she reaches that goal, fans of buxom beauty will not be seeing Kim Kardashian anytime soon.

The new mother has reportedly refused to step out in public until she looks “hot”.

“She’s extremely self-conscious about her current body,” a source told Us Weekly.

“She said when she comes out and gets photographed for the first time, she wants to look hot, hot, hot.”

While Kim Kardashian has already shed an impressive 30 lbs from her post-pregnancy frame, it is said that her weight loss has now slowed down and she is now “obsessed” to get to the final stretch.

“The weight is not coming off as quickly. She plateaued. This is the hard part now,” another Kardashian source told Us Weekly.

“She’s always complaining about her size. She says she hates looking this way and won’t go out again until she is skinnier,” a pal of Kanye West added to the magazine.

In order to get camera ready, Kim Kardashian has reportedly enlisted the aid of a trainer who visits her at her mother Kris Jenner’s home five times a week.

She is also said to be on an extremely strict diet.

While she cooks “homemade fried chicken and mac ‘n’ cheese” for Kanye West, a chef is apparently cooking Kim Kardashian low-calorie dishes such as grilled lemon chicken.

One source told the magazine that Kim Kardashian believes it will be several more weeks before she reaches her goal weight of 115 lbs and it is only then when she will make her big reveal to the world.

“She thinks it will take her at least another month and a half to get to where she wants to be,” a source told the magazine.

“Only when she’s there will she start thinking about showing her body to the world.”

In the interim, one of her biggest supporters, rapper Kanye West, continues to try and boost her body confidence by heaping praise on the reality star.

“Kanye tells her she’s beautiful. He wants to boost her confidence and goes out of his way so she doesn’t have to ask. But it wears Kanye out to hear her being down on herself.’”

One thing that is keeping her mind off her post-pregnancy figure is her precious baby North West.

Kim Kardashian, who friends and family say has taken to motherhood like a duck to water, is relishing in her new role.

According to Us Weekly, Kim Kardashian is already having a ball dressing her little girl up in designer clothing.

“[North] already had an incredible wardrobe,” a Kardashian insider told the magazine.

“She wears Roberto Cavalli and also has such beautiful jewelry – rubies, pearls, diamonds, everything.”

Her fab ab exercises:

  • Cycle crunches: Lie on your back with your legs in the air and spin them around while you roll side to side. It works on your obliques and your legs
  • Sit-up crunches: Lie on your back and lift your legs and your upper body – if you use weights too it’s even better
  • Full sit-ups: Lie down, bend your legs and keep them on the floor, and lift your whole upper body.
  • Jack Knife: Lying down and pulling your legs and arms up simultaneously.
  • V-Sit: Raise your legs straight in front of you and lift your upper body to meet them.
  • Russian Twists: Sit down, hold a ball, and turn your upper body from side to side with your feet on the ground
  • The Plank: Hold your body up, flat, in the air, on your elbows
  • Scissors: Lie on your back with your legs off the floor and scissor them.

Her current diet:

Breakfast: I always eat the same breakfast, a bowl of oats mixed with water and chopped fruit like strawberries, blueberries and bananas, plus two tablespoons of fat-free yoghurt and decaff tea

Snack: I drink lots of water, and if I have to snack I eat fruit, especially bananas which are good for energy, or apples celery and carrots which make you feel full

Lunch: A wholemeal pitta or roll with Quorn – I don’t eat a lot of meat – plus spices like chillies which speed up metabolism. I always eat loads of salad, vegetables and fruit, especially beetroot and chickpeas, plus a tiny bit of extra extra light mayonnaise or yoghurt

Dinner: Quorn meatballs with my own tomato sauce and vegetables. I also have wholewheat pasta – I don’t eat any white food. For dessert I’ll eat fruit.

Special treat: If I’m in the mood for something sweet I mix cocoa powder with yoghurt to make it really chocolatey and delicious.

Chaz Bono lost his first portion of weight by exercising and using the easy Freshology delivered-meal plan.

He will feature in a catch-up episode of The Doctors on Wednesday.

Chaz Bono said about kick-starting his routine: “It hasn’t been that long, but when you’re a guy and you’ve got a lot of weight to lose, the initial stuff comes off pretty easily. You start to see results and you want to keep going.

“It’s not to say you don’t have cravings sometimes, but I’m very happy with how I’m looking and feeling. Especially when I’m traveling or I have to go out to eat or whatever, it’s actually kind of easier than I thought to [eat healthy], so that’s been good.”

He explained: “It’s getting harder. I’m just kind of at a little plateau right now, which I think is pretty normal, according to my doctor. The weight was falling off at first, and now it’s just coming off slower.

“The smaller you are, the harder it is to lose weight. The last 10 or 20 lbs. are really hard to get off. I would like to lose more than that. I’m still dropping, but I’m just not dropping like I was in the beginning, which was about 4 lbs. a week.”

Chaz Bono called off his engagement with fiancée, Jennifer Elia, after 12 years together in December 2011, which may not have helped any motivation to continue exercising after his celebrity ballroom dancing show participation.

Experts have found that slimmers need to eat less than someone of the same weight who has not dieted to stay at their new weight.

To be precise, they need to eat at least 300 fewer calories a day. This equates to a bag of Maltesers and a Milky Way – the sort of treats they were probably looking forward to enjoying after the pounds had come off.

And over the course of a week, it amounts to 15 cans of cola or 17 slices of buttered toast.

The European Congress on Obesity heard that several quirks of biology combine to create a “perfect storm” that makes it all but impossible to keep lost weight off.

The calorie counts come from Professor Michael Rosenbaum, of New York’s Columbia University, who has monitored dieters for years at a time.

The men and women are taken into hospital and put on a strict diet to shed 10% of their weight.

They then try to stay at that weight. Test carried out before and afterwards have revealed the secrets of their success – or failure.

Prof. Michael Rosenbaum said: “The number of calories you are going to have to eat to maintain that weight loss falls by 22%.

“That’s 300 calories or more a day less than someone who looks exactly like they do.”

What is more, his studies suggest that the effect does not wear off, with an ex-dieter having to eat hundreds of fewer calories a day for years to come if they are to stay slim.

The conference in Lyon heard that the phenomenon can largely be blamed on the effect dieting has on muscle.

In slimmers, muscle uses fewer calories to do its work than in someone else of a similar weight who has not dieted.

Changes in hormones, metabolism and appetite also play a role.

Prof. Michael Rosenbaum’s studies also show that after dieting, the areas of the brain that perceive food as rewarding are more active, while those that generate feelings of restraint are less so.

And former dieters have to eat more to feel satisfied, but think they have eaten less.

He said: “You are creating the perfect storm for weight regain – energy expenditure is down and desire to eat is changed in ways that favor regain of lost weight.

“Weight loss is a relatively brief therapeutic intervention, but trying to keep the weight off requires a lifetime of diligent attention.”

The actress was seen wearing a pale lilac short-sleeved dress as she shot the scenes on the balcony location, standing next to Hugh Jackman – who sported unruly grey hair for his part.

Anne Hathaway’ once-lustrous long brown hair had also been replaced by a blunt crop, necessary for the role of the hungry, dying prostitute.

It is believed that Anne Hathaway has lost around 16 lbs in just three weeks in preparation for the beginning of shooting.

“Unfortunately, she only has 15 to 20 days to lose as much weight as possible – up to a stone-and-a-half – because she’s been filming the scenes showing her fit and healthy, almost slightly chubby.

“It’s not ideal but, as with any high-budget movie, there are strict time constraints.

“Producers have assigned her a personal trainer and she is literally eating nothing more than a couple of apples a day, and some protein – mainly in the form of a shake.”

However, producers are said to be making sure doctors keep a close eye on the actress during the short-term diet.

Meanwhile, in the movie Hugh Jackman is playing Jean Valjean, a poor man on the run from the police after he was released from prison after a 19 year stretch for stealing bread for his family.

The character is being pursued by Russell Crowe’s Inspector Javert, who released Valjean on parole, but then later decided to dedicate his life to imprisoning him again.

The film also stars Irish tenor Colm Wilkinson, who appears as the Bishop of Digne and was the original Jean Valjean in the West End and Broadway musical productions.

And it has quite the stellar cast as well as Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe, with Eddie Redmayne as Marius Pontmercy, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, Sacha Baron Cohen as Thénardier, and Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thénardier.
