Ranked No. 125 in the world, Tiger Woods had a two-way miss going, losing balls on both the first and ninth holes. He also said he lost three other balls to water hazards.
Tiger Woods won the last time he played here, in 2013 when he captured his second Players title. Last year he missed the tournament after having back surgery.
Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn have mutually decided to split up after nearly three years of dating.

Tiger Woods, 39, said in his statement: “I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsey and I’ll always cherish our time together. She has been amazing with Sam and Charlie and my entire family.
“Unfortunately, we lead very hectic lives and are both competing in demanding sports. It’s difficult to spend time together.”
Tiger Woods was previously married to Swedish model Elin Nordegren, but they divorced in 2010 after it emerged the golfer had had a series of extramarital affairs.

Race organizers told The Associated Press they were not aware of the incident and that Tiger Woods requested extra security and a snowmobile to exit the finish area.
Tiger Woods had been wearing a scarf with a skeleton pattern over the lower part of his face, sunglasses and a stocking cap.

Lindsey Vonn, 29, said from Florida that rehab is not a fun thing to do, asserting that it could become monotonous, the Washington Times reported.
She, however, added that if one is going through rehab, it’s nice to have a partner, who relates to other person’s situation and whom they can talk to, rehab and train with.
