Khloe Kardashian’s marriage has reportedly been torn apart by the damning allegations that have threatened to destroy Lamar Odom’s lucrative basketball career.
However, Lamar Odom reportedly returned to the couple’s marital home on Monday after “going off the grid” for as many as 72 hours over the weekend.
According to TMZ, Lamar Odom may be addressing some “serious issues” with his wife of nearly four years – including an alleged drug addiction.
Khloé Kardashian, 29, is said to be determined to help the 33-year-old NBA player get his life back on track despite the report which claims his drug use has escalated to an “alarming and life-threatening level”.
For his part, a source close to the former LA Clippers star told TMZ that Lamar Odom is “open to reason and listening to the people who love him the most”.
While talk of the popular athlete undergoing treatment for his alleged problem continues, Lamar Odom is apparently “receptive” to the possibility.

Khloé Kardashian’s older sister Kim, meanwhile, reportedly still holds out hope that her sibling can save her marriage.
Kim Kardashian, who recently welcomed her first child with boyfriend Kanye West, is said to be “very supportive” of her sibling and her marriage to Lamar Odom.
Recent reports have claimed Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s divorce is imminent after rumors surfaced of the basketballer cheating with two different women while on the road and his alleged drug use.
But Kim Kardashian hopes the pair can move past their problems.
An insider tells E! News: “She only wants what’s best for Khloé … [Kim Kardashian] would like to see them work it out.
“She knows how much they love each other. Everyone in the family feels divorce should be the last option.”
Khloé Kardashian apparently kept the details of her marital problems a secret from her tight-knit family, with the insider revealing that Kim was “shocked” to learn of the extent of the issues.
In a previous report, another source revealed: “Khloé did keep her marriage issues with Lamar a secret from her family for quite some time – no-one knew.”
Lamar Odom was seen loading a sizable amount of luggage into his car on Wednesday.

The basketball star was seen standing outside a gas station supermarket wearing khaki shorts and a white top as the man loaded the luggage into the trunk of the car.
Lamar Odom is likely not leaving for training as basketball season is over and the pre-season only starts in October. He also hasn’t yet given the LA Clippers an answer as to whether or not he’ll play for them this coming season.
Once the luggage was packed, he was seen getting into the luxury vehicle and driving off.
Lamar Odom was no doubt relieved to hear that he will not be prosecuted for destroying a photographer’s equipment.
The LA City Attorney will not file vandalism charges against that star for trashing a cameraman’s equipment last month in Hollywood, according to TMZ. Instead, an informal hearing will be held in the City Attorney’s office.
Meanwhile, his wife Khloe Kardashian has allegedly threatened to file for divorce from the sportsman.

The insider said that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, who has an estimated fortune of $56 million from his 14-year basketball career, signed a pre-nuptial agreement with a built-in cheating clause that would see her secure $500,000 for every year they were married if he is unfaithful to her.
The source added: “With both mistresses coming out, she can’t handle much more. If more women come forward, she will do it.
“[Although] Khloe is a strong girl, the cheating rumors have really worn her down.”
Khloe Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner previously denied her daughter was preparing to file for divorce.
Kris Jenner recently said: “Khloe and Lamar are absolutely not getting divorced. There’s been no talk of divorce.”
Other sources close to the couple, who got married just one month after they started dating, also insisted that Khloe Kardashian has not even spoken to a divorce lawyer.
