The federal execution of Brandon Bernard is set to go ahead on December 10, the first of five before the end of Donald Trump’s presidency.
Kim Kardashian West is among those urging clemency for the row inmate.
Brandon Bernard, 40, was convicted of murder when aged 18 and would be the youngest offender executed by the federal government in nearly 70 years.
If the five take place, President Trump will have overseen the most executions by a US president in more than a century.
It would bring to 13 the total of federal executions since July.
The executions break with an 130-year-old precedent of pausing executions amid a presidential transition. Joe Biden becomes president on January 20.
Brandon Bernanrd is scheduled to begin the five executions, along with 56-year-old Alfred Bourgeois. They are both scheduled to be put to death at a penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Bernard was given the death penalty for his involvement in the murder of Todd and Stacie Bagley in June 1999.
He was one of five teenagers accused of robbing the pair and forcing them into the back of their car in Texas.
They were shot in the car by 19-year-old accomplice Christopher Vialva before Brandon Bernard set the car alight.
Defense lawyers say both of the Bagleys probably died before the car was set on fire.
An independent investigator hired by the defense said Stacie was medically dead before the fire.
However, government testimony during the trial claimed that although Todd Bagley died instantly, Stacie had soot in her airway, signaling that she had died from smoke inhalation and not the gunshot wound.
Brandon Bernard’s lawyers claim he feared what would happen to him if he refused to follow the orders of Christopher Vialva, who was executed in September.
Others involved in the incident were given prison sentences as they were under 18 and classed as juveniles.
Brandon Bernard’s lawyers argue that he should be given life in prison without parole as throughout his time in jail, he has maintained a good record and worked with outreach programs to stop people from getting involved in crime.
The federal prosecutor who defended Brandon Bernard’s death sentence has since called for Bernard to see out his sentence in prison.
Five of the surviving nine jurors have called for President Trump to commute Brandon Bernard’s death sentence.
Tens of thousands of other people have urged the president to grant Bernard clemency.
Kim Kardashian West has sent numerous tweets about Brandon Bernard’s case to her followers, urging them to get behind the cause and raise awareness.
She is studying to be a lawyer in California and has previously helped sway criminal cases.
In March, Kim Kardashian visited the White House with three women whose jail terms were cut by President Trump.
Kim Kardashian West joined dozens of other celebrities announcing they will freeze their social media accounts to protest against the spread of “hate, propaganda and misinformation” as part of the #StopHateforProfit campaign.
The reality star wrote in a statement on September 15: “Misinformation shared on social media has a serious impact.”
The celebrities will freeze their accounts for 24 hours on September 16.
Kim Kardashian said: “I can’t sit by and stay silent while these platforms continue to allow the spreading of hate, propaganda and misinformation – created by groups to sow division and split America apart.”
“Misinformation shared on social media has a serious impact on our elections and undermines our democracy,” she added.
Other celebrities that have agreed to take part in the boycott include Katy Perry, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sacha Baron Cohen and Jennifer Lawrence.
Katy Perry wrote on Instagram: “I can’t sit idly by while these platforms turn a blind eye to groups and posts spreading hateful disinformation.”
Ashton Kutcher, who has millions of followers and is also joining the boycott, said “these tools were not built to spread hate [and] violence”.
The organizers of the #StopHateforProfit campaign, which was launched in June, accuse Facebook and Instagram of not doing enough to stop hate speech and disinformation.
The group has focused on Facebook, which also owns Instagram and WhatsApp and last year attracted advertising revenue of almost $70 billion.
Thousands of businesses and major civil rights groups – including the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Anti-Defamation League (AD) – have signed up to the campaign.
The group said in a statement: “We are quickly approaching one of the most consequential elections in American history.
“Facebook’s unchecked and vague ‘changes’ are falling dangerously short of what is necessary to protect our democracy.”
In June, Facebook said it would label potentially harmful or misleading posts left up for their news value.
Mark Zuckerberg also said the social media company would ban advertising containing claims “that people of a specific race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, caste, sexual orientation, gender identity or immigration status” are a threat to others.
The Facebook founder said in a statement: “The 2020 elections were already shaping up to be heated.
“During this moment, Facebook will take extra precautions to help everyone stay safe [and] stay informed.”
However, the #StopHateforProfit campaign called for more to be done, and more than 90 companies subsequently paused advertising in support of its efforts.
As a result of the boycott, shares in Facebook fell dramatically and media reported that $7.2 billion had been knocked off Mark Zuckerberg’s personal net worth.
Regulators and policy-makers around the world are concerned about the growth of hate speech, not just on Facebook but on all social media platforms, with many countries launching enquiries into how the tech companies are dealing with the issue.
Six new suspects have been placed under formal investigation in France over the Kim Kardashian robbery, officials say.
A total of ten people – all arrested on January 9 – now face preliminary charges ranging from armed robbery to kidnapping and handling stolen goods.
Those brought before an investigating judge on January 13 include the alleged “mastermind”, reports say.
Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint and tied up by robbers while staying at an exclusive flat in Paris in October.

She was attacked while her bodyguard looked after her sister at a nightclub. The gang stole €9 million ($9.5 million) of jewellery, including a diamond ring valued at about €4 million.
Four people were placed under investigation on January 12, including a man – named as Yunice A, aged 63 – accused of robbing Kim Kardashian at gunpoint and leaving her bound and gagged.
The suspects brought before a judge on January 13 include a 60-year-old believed to be the mastermind of the plot, French media report.
Police have been investigating whether the gang was tipped off that the star’s bodyguard was not at the residence at the time of the robbery.
Although there has been no trace yet of Kim Kardashian’s missing jewellery, police did recover an estimated €300,000 worth of items during raids on January 9.
Kanye West has been released from hospital more than a week after he was admitted with exhaustion.
The rapper left UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles with Kim Kardashian and his doctor, Michael Farzam, multiple reports say.
Kanye West, 39, was admitted to hospital on November 21 suffering from “temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration”, said TMZ.
People magazine also quoted a source saying Kanye West was “home, getting some rest”.

Meanwhile, both CNN and the Los Angeles Times reported that he had left the UCLA Medical Center.
The LAPD responded to a report of a disturbance last week but later said it was a “medical emergency”.
Kanye West was admitted to hospital a day after he canceled his Saint Pablo tour after a series of rants on-stage.
The rapper ended a concert after four songs in Sacramento, California, before canceling a performance in LA a day later hours before he was due on stage.
Kanye West spent 10 minutes talking to the crowd about Beyonce, Jay Z, Hillary Clinton and Mark Zuckerberg during another show.
Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian’s half-sister, said the family had been praying for Kanye West as she spoke to reporters at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in Paris.
Talking about Kanye West’s condition, Kendall Jenner told Entertainment Tonight: “Yes, of course [he’ll be OK].
“Everyone’s OK. Everyone is doing OK, [we’re] just praying.”
Meanwhile a E! Network representative said in a statement that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality show is “currently in production and has not been halted”.
According to recent reports, Kanye West has been hospitalized following an emergency services call.
Police say they had received a “disturbance call” on Monday afternoon, November 21, but did not name the singer.
The disturbance was later deemed a medical incident and the fire department responded.
A spokesman for the LA Fire Department said an unnamed man had been taken to hospital for “further assessment”.
“At 13:20 Pacific Time, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an unspecified medical aid request,” a spokesperson for the service said.
“An adult male described as medically stable was taken to an area hospital for further assessment.”
Further details of the incident naming Kanye West varied in conflicting reports from multiple news sources.

According to NBC News, officers had been responding to a “medical welfare call” and the decision to hospitalize the rapper was for his own health and safety, citing “multiple authorities familiar with the case”.
TMZ reported that Kanye West was taken to hospital for “psychiatric evaluation” and had been seeking treatment for “severe sleep deprivation”.
The Los Angeles Times said that there had been a 911 call from the address, citing a fire department source.
Neither Kanye West nor his representatives have made an official statement about the incident.
Before news broke of Kanye West’s hospital treatment, his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, spoke to media about his reasons for canceling his shows.
Kris Jenner told Extra show: “He’s exhausted, he’s just really tired. He’s had a grueling tour and it’s been a grind so he just needs some rest.”
Some celebrities took to social media to voice their concern and offer well wishes to Kanye West.
Rapper 9th Wonder tweeted: “Been knowing the brother upwards of 13 years. Mental healing is a serious thing, no matter what. Stay strong Kanye West.”
Comedian Ronald Funches wrote: “I wish Kanye West love and support through his journey. Mental health is no joke and a constant battle and I hope he makes more dope music.”
Kim Kardashian was expected to appear at a NYC social event on November 21 – her first public appearance since she was robbed in Paris in October – but she did not attend.
Kanye West had canceled all remaining dates on his current tour after abandoning a Sacramento performance at the weekend.
The rapper had performed just three songs on Saturday night, November 19, before embarking on an unscripted rant, criticizing Beyonce and Jay Z, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Hillary Clinton.
Kanye West criticized Mark Zuckerberg for failing to give him $53 million to get out of debt and said he was hurt that Jay Z failed to visit his family after last month’s robbery.
The rapper then appeared to suggest that Jay Z employed hit men, saying: “Jay Z, I know you got killers, please don’t send them at my head.”
“Get ready to have a field day, press, because the show’s over,” Kanye West said, as he dropped his microphone and walked out.
Kanye West’s promoter, Live Nation, has announced refunds for all tickets from the show.
No reason has been given for the cancelation of the remaining dates.
Kanye West has told an audience in San Jose he would have opted for Donald Trump if he had voted.
“I told you I didn’t vote,” the rapper said.
“But I didn’t tell you… if I would’ve voted, I would’ve voted on Trump.”
Angry fans responded by booing Kim Kardashian’s husband and throwing items on stage.

Kanye West said he had “loved the debates” between Donald Trump and rival Hillary Clinton and that his “approach was absolutely genius because it… worked”.
He also asked for people to “stop focusing on racism”, saying: “This world is racist, okay. Let’s stop being distracted to focus on that as much. We are in a racist country – period.”
However, Kanye West said his preference did not mean he was any less supportive of women’s rights and the Black Lives Matter movement.
In footage uploaded on social media, Kanye West can be heard saying: “That don’t mean I don’t believe in these things because that is the guy I would’ve voted for.”
Kanye West, 39, was performing in San Jose, California, on November 17 as part of his Saint Pablo tour. His next concert will be held in Sacramento, California, on November 19.
At 2015 MTV Music Video Awards, Kanye West announced that he planned to run for president in 2020.
Kim Kardashian has decided to drop a court case against celebrity gossip website Media TakeOut that claimed she staged an armed robbery in Paris.
The reality star’s lawyer said the two sides had resolved the issue.
Kim Kardashian, 35, said she would take MediaTakeOut to court but has dropped the case after it issued an apology.

Media TakeOut reported Kim Kardashian had faked being robbed at gunpoint at a luxury apartment in Paris earlier this month.
The site also accused the reality star of making a fraudulent insurance claim for millions of dollars of jewellery.
According to French police, Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint by at least two men dressed as police officers who stole a box containing jewellery worth up to $6.7 million.
Her husband, Kanye West, was on stage at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York at the time of the robbery.
Kanye West ended his set as soon as he heard the news, telling fans: “I’m sorry, family emergency. I have to stop the show.”
A spokeswoman for Kim Kardashian said she was “badly shaken but physically unharmed”.
Some have suggested she had made herself vulnerable by revealing her location and posting photos of jewellery in the days before the attack.
Kim Kardashian has since been virtually silent on social media with her only appearance coming on her birthday when Caitlyn Jenner posted a picture with her on Instagram.
Kim Kardashian is suing celebrity gossip website Media TakeOut and its founder for claiming that she faked being the victim of a robbery in Paris last week.
The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages for defamation and names both Media TakeOut and Fred Mwangaguhunga.
Kim Kardashian was tied up by gun-wielding robbers who broke into a Paris flat earlier this month, police say.

They made off with jewelery worth about $10 million.
The lawsuit filed in federal court in New York said that after being “the victim of a horrific and traumatic armed robbery in France, Kim Kardashian returned to the US only to again be victimized, but this time by an online gossip tabloid that published a series of articles in early October 2016 referring to her as a liar and thief”.
The articles, the lawsuit said, “claimed, without any factual support whatsoever, that Kardashian faked the robbery, lied about the violent assault, and then filed a fraudulent claim with her insurance company to bilk her carrier out of millions of dollars”.
Fred Mwangaguhunga refused to publish a retraction and an apology “for calling her a liar and a criminal”, the lawsuit added.
Media TakeOut has so far not commented.
Kim Kardashian, 35, who is married to rapper Kanye West, became a household name thanks to the reality TV series Keeping up with the Kardashians.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have revealed they named their newborn son Saint West.
The 35-year-old reality star gave birth to her second child on December 5, three weeks before his due date.
Sources reportedly told E!News Kim Kardashian and Kanye West decided upon the religious name as they wanted to show how much of a “blessing” their son is after Kim’s “difficult pregnancy”.
She has made no secret that she doesn’t enjoy pregnancy and had a complicated birth due to her suffering from something called placenta accreta – when the placenta grows too deeply into the uterus.
The condition – which has the potential to cause severe blood loss after delivery – made the birth “the most painful experience ever”, TMZ reported.
Photo Instagram
Kim Kardashian’s doctor’s needed an extra few hours to deal with the placenta issues, but the mum still managed to have a natural birth instead of a c-section, something which is believed to be recommended if suffering from the condition, according to the website.
The reality star, who described her second pregnancy as the “worst experience”, also suffered from it with daughter North and previously revealed she may have to have a hysterectomy after she gave birth to her son because of the condition.
Shortly before welcoming her son, a relieved Kim Kardashian told fans her unborn baby was no longer in the breech position.
Kim Kardashian previously revealed that doctors had attempted to turn her son around but failed and she was considering having a “painful and scary” medical procedure.
“This weekend, I checked into the hospital and underwent a procedure called an ECV (External Cephalic Version, or a Version), which is done to manually turn the baby from a breech position to a head-down position,” she wrote on her website last week.
“They gave me an IV with medication to relax my uterus, and then three doctors attempted to work together to turn the baby.”
Kim Kardashian went on to explain: “There was a risk that my water might break or the baby’s heart rate could drop – in which case, an emergency C-section would then take place. I went in with my sisters and my husband. I was prepared for it all!”
“They don’t give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth.
“BUT it worked!!! My baby is in the right position and it feels so good to not have the stress of thinking I need a C-section.”
According to new reports, Lamar Odom has suffered physical and mental setbacks in his recovery.
Lamar Odom, 35, has undergone two emergency surgeries that have left him in a “fragile” mental state, unidentified sources told TMZ.com.
The procedures involved chest issues, the gossip website said.
Doctors now are turning away all visitors except wife Khloé Kardashian, TMZ said.
Khloe Kardashian got some public support on October 22 from Lamar Odom’s family – a day after a Los Angeles judge agreed to dismiss the formerly estranged couple’s pending divorce.

“In SINCERELY loving Lamar, we truly love and respect whomever he loves,” said the statement from Odom family spokeswoman Alvina Alston.
“We always have and will continue to do so. Together as a team, we will support and encourage him always,” she said.
Alvina Alston gave a positive update to Lamar Odom’s medical progress that didn’t mention any surgeries.
“To our overwhelming delight, Lamar’s courageous improvement continues on the incline in Los Angeles. He is beginning to gradually flourish both mentally and physically,” she said.
“His use of speech has increased and he’s more cognitively responsive.”
Lamar Odom was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on October 19 after waking from a coma on October 16 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.
Khloe Kardashian, 31, rushed to Lamar Odom’s side the same day he was admitted in extremely critical condition and has kept a vigil.
She even missed Kim Kardashian’s birthday celebration October 21 to stay with Lamar Odom.
Lamar Odom reportedly told Khloe Kardashian over the weekend that he understood he almost died and had hit rock bottom.
The FDA has condemned Kim Kardashian’s promotion of morning sickness prescription drug Diclegis on social media.
Kim Kardashian, who is 5-month pregnant with her second child, posted a selfie last month holding up a branded bottle of the pills alongside text endorsing their effects.
Diclegis maker, Canada-based Duchesnay, later confirmed it had compensated Kim Kardashian for “sharing her experience”.
However, the FDA has attacked the posts for failing to flag potential side effects.
The agency has ordered the drugmaker to stop promoting its product in this manner.
Kim Kardashian’s posts talked of her own use of the drug Diclegis, before stating: “Most importantly, it’s been studied and there was no increased risk to the baby.”
The 34-year-old reality star provided a link to the pharmaceutical company’s own realted safety warnings, but did describe the potential risks herself.
One side effect of a normal dose of Diclegis is drowsiness. An overdose can cause vertigo, mental confusion and an abnormal heart rate.
“The social media post is misleading because it presents various efficacy claims for Diclegis, but fails to communicate any risk information,” FDA division director Robert Dean wrote in a complaint to Duchesnay.
“Because the violations described above are serious and repeated, we request, further, that your submission includes a comprehensive plan of action to disseminate truthful, non-misleading, and complete corrective messages about the issues discussed in this letter to the audiences that received the violative promotional materials.”
Robert Dean added that the correction should be distributed “using the same media” as the original messages, indicating that the warnings should appear on Kim Kardashian’s social media accounts.
Kim Kardashian’s selfie has since been deleted from Instagram and Facebook – although a tweet alluding to the posts remains online.
Duchesnay said that it would issue a formal response ahead of a August 21 deadline.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says Kim Kardashian’s social media posts violate federal drug-promotion rules.
Kim Kardashian, who is 5 months pregnant with her second child, recently began promoting a prescription pill to treat morning sickness through her social media accounts. Such endorsement deals are relatively common for celebrities.
In posts to Instagram and Facebook earlier this month Kim Kardashian talks about her struggles with nausea due to pregnancy.
The reality star wrote: “I tried changing things about my lifestyle, like my diet, but nothing helped, so I talked to my doctor.
“He prescribed me #Diclegis, and I felt a lot better and most importantly, it’s been studied and there was no increased risk to the baby.”
Kim Kardashian, 34, has over 42 million followers on Instagram and 25 million on Facebook.
The posts link to a company website that includes the FDA-approved labeling information.
Photo Instagram
However, FDA regulators say the posts violate rules for promoting drugs because they don’t mention side effects of Diclegis, which include sleepiness that can make it dangerous to drive or perform other activities that require mental alertness. The drug label warns that Diclegis should not be combined with alcohol or other medications that cause drowsiness, such as sleeping aids or certain pain relievers.
FDA regulations require manufacturers to balance benefit claims with information about drugs’ risks, even when space is limited.
The posts also fail to mention that Diclegis is not approved for women with a form of prolonged vomiting that causes dehydration, the FDA notes.
The FDA posted its warning letter online on August 11, addressed to the CEO of Canadian drugmaker Duchesnay Inc., which markets the drug. The letter notes that the privately held company received a similar warning in 2013 for omitting risk information from a letter to doctors.
FDA regulators are “concerned that Duchesnay is continuing to promote Diclegis in a violative manner,” states the letter dated August 7.
The agency calls on the company to remove the social media posts immediately and outline a plan for preventing future violations by August 21
The Quebec-based company said in a statement it “will take quick action in responding to the FDA’s letter and immediately and effectively address any issues”.
The FDA approved Diclegis in 2013 to treat vomiting and nausea in pregnant women who do not respond to more traditional measures. It is the only prescription drug approved in the US for morning sickness.
A different version of the drug was recalled by the agency in 1983 following a series of lawsuits alleging links to birth defects. However, FDA investigations never established any link between the drug and the reported problems.
Kim Kardashian’s posts cited by the FDA no longer appeared on her accounts on August 11.
Nicki Minaj’s criticism of the MTV VMA 2015 nominations has descended into a Twitter row with Taylor Swift and other celebrities.
She told MTV that she was upset her videos for Anaconda and Feeling Myself hadn’t had more recognition.
In a stream of tweets Nicki Minaj suggests that white musicians were favored over her.
“If I was a different “kind” of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well,” the rapper tweeted.
MTV has nominated Taylor Swift featuring Kendrick Lamar (Bad Blood), Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars (Uptown Funk), Beyonce (7/11), Ed Sheeran (Thinking Out Loud) and Kendrick Lamar (Alright) for best video.
Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda has been nominated in the best hip-hop video category, but Feeling Myself, which features Beyonce, has not been put forward for any awards.
“When the “other” girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination,” Nicki Minaj said on Twitter.
She put out a tweet which some people interpreted as being a jibe aimed at Taylor Swift, who featured models and other female celebrities in her Bad Blood video.
Nicki Minaj added: “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.”
Taylor Swift obviously took it that way too, tweeting: “@NICKIMINAJ I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.”
However, Nicki Minaj said Taylor Swift was missing the point.
“Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn’t say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13”
Then Nicki Minaj replied: “Oh but trust me. I’ll be on that stage to collect my awards for vid of the year. Feeling Myself & Anaconda.”
Later on, Taylor Swift made this offer: “@NICKIMINAJ If I win, please come up with me!! You’re invited to any stage I’m ever on.”
Nicki Minaj said the media’s focus on her disagreement with Taylor Swift was an attempt to “overshadow” the discussion she was trying to have about racial issues in the music industry.
Next in the firing line was Ryan Seacrest, who posted a headline on his website (which has now been removed) saying that Nicki Minaj had taken “jabs” at Taylor Swift.
Nicki Minaj reacted: “Ryan posted a headline of Taylor saying she loves & supports me. But not me saying the same to her. Lol. Their headline says I took a “jab”?”
Kim Kardashian also got caught up in the row, after sharing a photo of herself with the caption: “Imma let you finish.”
This phrase is reminiscent of what the reality star’s husband, Kanye West, said to Taylor Swift when he invaded the stage during her acceptance speech at the MTV VMAs in 2009.
“Wait wait I’m in Paris it’s the middle of the night & I’m posting my Vogue Spain pics not having a clue what’s going on in the music world,” she tweeted.
“I’m not trying to shade anyone! That’s not my style! I just thought that caption was perfect for that pic! Changing the caption now! #ironic,”Kim Kardashian added.
Other celebrities saw the chance for a joke and jumped on it.
Caitlyn Jenner has set a new Twitter record after gaining more than a million followers in four hours, Guinness World Records has confirmed.
Bruce Jenner as a woman has beaten President Barack Obama, who held the title for two weeks.
Barack Obama reached the one million mark in five hours.
Caitlyn Jenner launched her Twitter account at the same time as a Vanity Fair magazine cover was released, showing former Olympian Bruce Jenner as a transgender woman and revealing the name she will now be using.
She tweeted: “Another Jenner world record, and at 65? Who’da thought! Humbled & honored to have reached 1M followers in 4 hrs. Thank you for your support.”
At the time of writing, Caitlyn Jenner had reached a total of 1.8 million followers, although that figure is still rising.
Guinness World Records tweeted: “4 hrs and 3 mins! @Caitlyn_Jenner just set a new record for fastest time to reach 1 million followers on @Twitter.”
The cover photograph, shot by Annie Leibovitz, is part of a wider special where Caitlyn Jenner talks about her gender transition and how her family’s reacted.
Stepdaughter Kim Kardashian has shared her support for Caitlyn Jenner, tweeting: “Caitlyn Jenner for Vanity Fair Annie Leibovitz! How beautiful! Be happy, be proud, live life YOUR way!”
Bruce Jenner’s first photo shoot as a woman, named Caitlyn Jenner, has been unveiled.
Caitlyn Jenner shot the cover with photographer Annie Leibovitz in Malibu for Vanity Fair magazine.
Former Olympian Bruce Jenner confirmed his plans to transition into a woman in an interview in April 2015.
Now, as he became Caitlyn, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star says: “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret… I would be lying there saying, <<You just blew your entire life>>.”

Caitlyn Jenner also tweeted: “I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.”
E! channel plans to document Caitlyn Jenner’s life as a transgender woman, starting in July in a new series.
Bruce Jenner’s stepdaughter Kim Kardashian West also tweeted support for the cover shoot.
It comes a day after Kim Kardashian confirmed she was pregnant with her second child with husband Kanye West.
Khloe Kardashian also posted about the cover shoot on her Instagram account.
Bruce Jenner’s stepdaughter wrote: “We were given this life because you were strong enough to live it! I couldn’t be prouder!!! Caitlyn, You are beautiful!!!”
In a long-awaited interview with Diane Sawyer, Bruce Jenner revealed he is, in fact, a woman.
“Yes, and for all intents and purposes, I am a woman,” Bruce Jenner told Diane Sawyer within the first five minutes of his highly anticipated 20/20 interview on April 24.
Bruce Jenner said he began the process in the 1980s, after a lifetime of feeling uncomfortable in his skin.
He said this is the last time he will be known as Bruce Jenner – but didn’t reveal a new name yet.
The former Olympian said during the sit-down: “It’s going to be tough. I’ve been thinking about this day forever and what I should do with my life… how do I tell people what I’ve been through? Today is that day, and I get to choose.”
During the 1980s, Bruce Jenner began taking female hormones and continued doing so for five years. He confided in his older sister and admitted dressing up in her clothes when younger.
Bruce Jenner says he dreams as a woman.
Eventually, he stopped taking the female hormones because he didn’t want to disappoint people.
He has been back on female hormones for the past year and a half.
Bruce Jenner says throughout the years, we have seen him out in public dressed as a woman but he wasn’t recognized.
His announcement comes after longtime speculation that he was transitioning to female.
However, he maintained: “I’m not gay.”
While Bruce and third wife Kris Jenner divorced in 2014, he confessed: “I loved Kris, I had a wonderful life with her. I learned a lot from her.”
The interview touched on several key points in Bruce Jenner’s personal history, like his resurgence of stardom thanks to family reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
He said: “We’ve done 425 episodes, I think, over almost 8 years. Over the entire run, I kept thinking to myself, <<Oh my god. this whole thing, the one real true story in the family was the one I was hiding and nobody knew about it>>.”
“The one thing that could really make a difference in people’s lives was right here in my soul, and I couldn’t tell it.”
At one moment of the special, Diane Sawyer spoke about how different generations received Bruce Jenner: some know her as the patriarch of reality clan the Kardashians, and others a world class athlete.
The former Olympian responded: “God said, <<Let’s give him the soul of a female, and let’s see how he deals with that>>.”
Bruce Jenner says he was terrified to tell his children, as he did not want to hurt them.
He first told son Brandon, 33, who tells Sawyer that his father was very nervous during their conversation.
“When you’re that close to somebody, you notice little things … I feel like I am getting an upgraded version of my dad.”
Bruce Jenner, who happily showed Sawyer a black lace dress in his closet, says he will always be Dad to his children.
At the time of the interview, Bruce Jenner says his daughters have been reluctant to see the person he calls “her.”
Bruce Jenner says Kim Kardashian has been the most accepting, saying: “Girl, you gotta rock it baby… you gotta look really good.”
The two-hour special was long expected to be Bruce Jenner’s official announcement that he is undergoing gender reassignment, which had been widely speculated on for months.
Kanye West was mobbed by dozens of fans after jumping into Swan Lake during a concert in Armenia.
Kim Kardashian’s husband had been giving a free concert in the capital, Yerevan.

Ray J has entered the Amber Rose vs. Kardashians war after Rose referenced his infamous tape with Kim Kardashian.
The singer took to Instagram and posted the famous moment in The Godfather Part III when Michael Corleone declares: “Just when I thought I was out… they pull me back in!”
Few days ago, Amber Rose slammed the Kardashian family in an interview, calling Kim “fake” and saying Tyga should be ashamed for dating “baby” Kylie Jenner, who is 17 years old.
Khloe Kardashian then attacked Amber Rose, telling her to “stop talking” about the family and pointing out that Rose was a stripper when she was 15.
Amber Rose fired back, claiming she was just trying to support her family, much as Kim Kardashian did when she and Ray J made their famous tape.
On February 20, Kanye West reignited the war of words with a Power 105 “Breakfast Club” sit-down, during which he joked about Amber Rose: “If Kim had dated me when I first wanted to be with her, there wouldn’t be an Amber Rose, you know what I’m saying?”
Kanye West then called Amber Rose dirty, declaring: “It’s very hard for a woman to want to be with someone that’s with Amber Rose. I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim.”
After Kanye West joked during The Breakfast Club interview on February 20 that he “had to take 30 showers” after dating Amber Rose before Kim Kardashian would be with him, Rose fired back on Twitter.
“If Kim had dated me when I first wanted to be with her there wouldn’t be an Amber Rose,” Kanye West said during radio interview.
“It’s very hard for a woman to wanna be with someone that’s with Amber Rose. I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim,” the rapper said.
Referring to Kim Kardashian’s infamous tape, Amber Rose wrote on Twitter: “Wait 30 showers? But Kim let Ray J… on her…. Never mind.”

She continued: “@kanyewest This is my moment to let the world know who u really are and the things you’ve done to me.
“After all these years I never snitched on u and I don’t plan on starting now. We once loved each other so I won’t do u like that. I’ll leave that up to the Kartrashians to humiliate u when they’re done with u.”
Amber Rose went on: “I’m always so quiet and just a cool fun girl. The funny thing is I’m all for a woman making something out of nothing. Ppl make mistakes in life trust me I have. But when u bully other ppl and ur not perfect its so f—–. I own up to every piece of my life.”
The feud between Amber Rose and the Kardashians flared up recently when Rose called Kim “fake” and said Tyga should be “ashamed” for dating 17-year-old Kylie Jenner.
Kim Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, was immediately supportive when he found out Bruce Jenner was officially transitioning to live as a woman.
But Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend, Scott Disick, “didn’t react very well” when he first learned of Bruce Jenner’s plans, new reports claim.
However, a source told People magazine, Scott Disick “is now on board,” just like Kanye West was from the start.
Kanye West “is totally fine with it. He believes in live and let live, and he took it all in stride”, the source told the magazine.
The magazine further shares that Bruce Jenner was completely open with his family about his process.
“Bruce told them everything – where things stood, what his plans were for the future, and what everyone could expect,” says People magazine’s source.
“Everyone basically knew what was up, but it was still a shock to hear it outlined so explicitly.”
The insider also talked about Kris Jenner’s reaction: “Kim went to Kris and asked her how she felt. They had a very long conversation about it. Once Kim was satisfied that Kris was emotionally OK, she was able to give Bruce her unconditional support.”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West “are just trying to show Bruce love and acceptance – complete acceptance”, says the People source.
Bruce Jenner’s transition to a woman is expected to be showcased on the upcoming season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
According to new reports, Bruce Jenner’s decision to become a woman was made more than a year ago.
People magazine has quoted a family source saying that the former Olympian is in the process of becoming a woman.
Last year, TMZ was reporting that Bruce Jenner underwent an operation called a laryngeal shave, to smooth out his Adam’s Apple, and, according to the celebrity website, it was “one of the first steps”.
At that time Bruce Jenner said he was “absolutely not” transitioning.
However, the website claims his denial was part of a plan to make the change gradually, which he has done over the last year, to the point it simply became obvious and an announcement became almost irrelevant.
Sources told TMZ that Bruce Jenner is now far along in the process, has undergone various procedures and psychological counseling, and is ready to show his journey to the world.
His docuseries will air as early as May.
According to People magazine, his family is supportive but not all family members are on board 100%.
A leader in the transgender community told TMZ they’ve know for “way more than a year” Bruce Jenner was doing this and some felt he should have announced it when he had the laryngeal shave. However, Bruce Jenner decided a gradual transition followed by a revelation would be better for him and his family, the celebrity website reported.
It has also reported that part of the plan to reveal the decision is for various family members to start speaking out.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Kim Kardashian said that her stepfather Bruce Jenner is the happiest she’s ever seen him.
Kim Kardashian addressed rumors that Bruce Jenner, 65, is transitioning to become a woman, something the former Olympian has not publicly commented on.
The reality star said her stepfather “should tell his story his way”.
“I think when the time is right he’ll talk about whatever he wants to talk about,” Kim Kardashian said.

In recent months, photos of Bruce Jenner have shown him with increasingly longer hair.
It’s led to speculation about his personal life but there has never been any public confirmation from Bruce Jenner himself that he is or isn’t transgender.
However, in the TV interview Kim Kardashian alluded to the rumors and said her family “support Bruce no matter what”.
“I think everyone goes through things in life but I do think that story and what Bruce is going through… he’ll share when the time is right.”
The InTouch magazine was recently criticized for digitally altering a picture of Bruce Jenner onto a woman’s body.
Transgender activist Kate Bornstein wrote a statement for the Advocate website about the cover.
Kate Bornstein wrote: “I think that as more and more of us discover that trans is nothing to be ashamed of, the more difficult it’s going to be for bullies to get people to believe their slander and lies.”
