Mama June has revealed she failed to recognize Miley Cyrus when the excited singer ran up and hugged her

Honey Boo Boo’s mother said: “This may sound bad on my part, but because it was so crazy at Good Morning America, [Miley Cyrus’] like, <<Oh my god, there’s Mama June!>> and she came up and hugged me because it was so fast, I didn’t realize it was her until after she walked by!”

June Shannon also made her infamous sketti and chunky pork and beans dishes, which Wendy Williams announced “tastes like home”.

She also chatted about her reasons for doing the hit show, explaining: “It gives the kids a more better future like, whenever they get older.”

“And I’m able to take the kids on vacations and see parts of the world they never have been able to see before.”

But it isn’t changing their lives entirely, as the savvy saver is filtering it all into trust funds.

June Shannon explained: “I don’t see that money. What it is, I’ve got it set up to where they automatically go in to all five accounts, the four girls and the grand baby, and they can’t touch it until they’re 21.”

The reality star dressed comfortably in a draping turquoise blue short-sleeved blouse, loose-fitting black pants and a pair of white sneakers.

June Shannon arrived with no make-up and with her blonde hair down, but spent some time in the stylist’s chair and had her facial cosmetics applied and hair pulled back for her interview.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo returned to TLC on July 17 and showed the self-proclaimed redneck family visit the White House, race around in go karts and attend a pro wrestling match.

Honey Boo Boo didn’t make the trip to New York City and was at the family’s rural home in McIntyre, Georgia.

“She’s asleep, we’re not morning people,” June Shannon said.

June Shannon also confirmed that she has a huge celebrity crush on Extra entertainment news host Mario Lopez.

The Good Morning America crew surprised June Shannon with a taped message from Mario Lopez in which he offered congratulations on her recent wedding and said he was “extremely flattered” to be her celebrity crush.

Honey Boo Boo’s mom, June Shannon, has opened up about putting weight back on after losing 100 lbs, why her family will never diet and her thoughts on getting Botox.

Mama June, 33, has also revealed that her daughter Alana Thompson (aka Honey Boo Boo), 7, is losing her “baby fat”.

The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo matriarch told InTouch: “I gain a couple of pounds back and then I lose them. But even if I gained the whole 100 pounds back, I’d be play with it.”

“A lot of larger people beat themselves up when they gain, but I’m really happy with myself.”

Mama June also revealed that her children, Anna, 18, Jessica, 16, Lauryn, 13, and Honey Boo Boo have lost weight too.

“They’ve all lost some weight too, but it’s just because we’ve been so busy. And Alana’s growing up and losing her baby fat!”

However, June Shannon – who grabbed attention for her signature dish of “sketti” – refuses to put her family on a diet.

“We eat what we like. I’m not trying to cook whatever’s cool. I cook what my family wants me to cook!”

Earlier this year, June Shannon said that she had tipped the scales at 365 lbs before she started filming her TLC series and at the beginning of this year she weighed a lighter 263lbs.

Mama June said at the time: “With the show I’ve been more active. They have me running around and going different places… I guess it’s paying off.”

“I haven’t done any surgeries… no diet pills… never went to the gym,” she insisted.

In a recent interview June Shannon said: “Hell no!” when she was asked if she was a fan of Botox.

On Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality series June Shannon is regularly seen tucking into giant plates of food, with her favorite family dish being Sketti – a saucy combination of spaghetti, ketchup and butter.

A recent episode also showed how Mama June’s Thanksgiving menu featuring 15 cans of vegetables, 12 cans of cranberry sauce and a large turkey coated with a gallon of butter.

“Just like all my other recipes, butter and sugar makes everything taste better,” she exclaimed as she prepared the gut-busting feast.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo – which is due to return to network TLC this summer – recently gained a new fan in Hollywood movie star Johnny Depp.

“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo… I could be called a fan,” Johnny Depp revealed this month.

Honey Boo Boo’s father, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, once said he smelled “like a bowl of oyster stew” and Mama June is known to scent the home with her unsavory-looking “multi-meal” cook-ups.

And now viewers can delight in the unlikely smells produced by the reality TV clan thanks to a new “scratch n’ sniff” initiative launched to coincide with the Season 2 premiere of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo on July 17.

TLC have produced ten million cards fragranced with six “mystery” scents, allowing fans to experience the “diverse and fragrant” aromas found in rural McIntyre, Georgia.

Each scent will correlate to various scenes in the all-new episodes. In a TV advert promoting the gimmick, June Shannon says: “Get your card. When you see the number on your TV, scratch the corresponding number, take big whiff and see what you smell.”

Many have attempted to guess what the aromas associated with the Boo Boo gang will be.

IVillage points out that the Thompson family has shared their home with some odiferous pets, like Glitzy the pig and Nugget the chicken.

“And naturally, the Thompson family always enjoys a good game of Guess Who’s Breath?” it continues.

While The Stir wrote: “Can you imagine what your nose is in for? A whiff of Mama June’s multi-meals (which is basically a big mixture with all the leftovers in the fridge), those ever-present cheese balls, the smell of that questionable rug in the family room.”

Explaining how the idea came about, Amy Winter, TLC’s general manager, said: “We couldn’t think of a more fitting way to kick off the new season than with two Watch ‘n Sniff episodes.

“The family loves coming up with crazy games and hijinks, so now our audience gets to play along with one. It’s an experience they certainly won’t want to miss!”

The scratch cards will be distributed in People and Us Weekly magazine, which will hit newsstands on July 5 and July 12 respectively.

Additional cards will also be available at select Time Warner Cable retail stores nationwide and distributed by “street teams”.

The series, which averaged 2.3 million viewers last fall, provides a candid look inside the family’s unapologetically loud and unique lives.

The season premiere of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo will air on Wednesday, July 17 on TLC at 9 p.m.

Honey Boo Boo attended the fifth annual National Redneck Olymp-Hicks in Augusta, Georgia, on Saturday, and won a medal for her dance moves.

The athletic tournament includes competitions for the biggest beer belly, redneck belly-flop, loudest belch, and the by far most daunting “bobbin for pig’s feet”.

Honey Boo Boo, 7, donned a frilly outfit with matching pants and tank top for her day of athletic competition and mud sliding fun.

The former pageant clearly having the time of her life as she skidded down a make shift water slide, constructed out of a plastic tarp and covered in brown mud.

Honey Boo Boo, whose real name is Alana Thompson, even enjoyed a dip in the belly flopping pools, which were simply large holes dug into the ground and filled with muddy water.

Midway through the day of competitive redneck challenges Honey Boo Boo took a break and enjoyed an icy treat, which seemed to be a departure from her normal diet of “sketti” and caffeine-infused “go-go juice”.

Meanwhile, her sister Anna “Chickadee” shined on the winner’s podium as her daughter Kaitlyn won an award for “cutest redneck baby”.

As the day progressed the girls took to the sidelines to watch the tournament’s main event, belly flopping.

After their day of fun, Honey Boo Boo was spotted rinsing off the mud and grime with the aid of a fire truck’s hose.

But this was not the first time the famous girl and her family have attended the Olymp-Hicks games.

The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo stars famously competed in last year’s tournament, and even participated in the “bobbin’ for pig’s feet” event – which consists of fishing for raw uncooked swine limbs swimming in a plastic bucket full of murky water with one’s teeth.

During a taping for an episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Mama June, aka June Shannon, said of last year’s event: “It’s just like the Olympics except for a lot of missing teeth and butt cracks showing.”

She added: “There are some broke down people out there.”

June Shannon, 33, first shot to fame after her daughter  Alana won national attention with her appearance on the reality show Toddlers and Tiaras before landing their own programme.

The redneck tournament, held in a field beside Augusta’s Savannah River Lock and Dam hosted thousands of attendees over the weekend.

In addition to the impressive and muddy feats performed, Olymp-hicks included a fair where youngsters, and anyone less interested in getting dirty, could take a ride down an inflatable slide, among other attractions.

An appropriate addition to the day’s fun was the actual car, the General Lee, from the 1980s television series The Dukes of Hazzard.

It was a tough week for Honey Boo Boo as her father, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, was recently hospitalized and the family’s pet dog, China, was struck and killed by a vehicle.

Sugar Bear, 40, collapsed late last week after getting dizzy and was taken to a hospital.

“Mama” June Shannon, 33, said in a Facebook update on May 25 that doctors were “running a lot of tests on his brain”, without any conclusive results.

The posting included the hashtag “#prayforsugarbear” and warned that it could be a “very serious” medical condition.

On Monday, June Shannon posted a message on Facebook saying that China, the family’s pet Chihuahua, was found by older daughter Lauryn, known as “Pumpkin”, and a security staffer when they went to retrieve clothes for the hospitalized Sugar Bear.

China “had been recently hit and left to die” and was suffering spasms when she was found, Mama June wrote.

The family rescued the friendly dog six years on Craigslist.

“She will b greatly missed alana loved her a lot as all us did,” June Shannon wrote.

In better news, Sugar Bear was released from the hospital and returned home after doctors determined what made him pass out.

Sugar Bear has been ordered to relax and will remain home, June Shannon said in a Facebook posting on Thursday.

Back in September, Sugar Bear had emergency surgery to treat an infection following a mud boggin’ accident.

He also had a quad bike accident last year and paramedics were called when he fell ill during the family’s Christmas toy drive after suffering from high blood pressure.

Sugar Bear was released from a week-long hospital stay in early March after suffering chest and stomach pains and was diagnosed pancreatitis.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is the popular reality television programme on TLC that chronicles the life of 7-year-old child beauty pageant Alana Thompson and her family in rural McIntyre, Georgia.

June Shannon and Sugar Bear rode off into the sunset on an all-terrain vehicle with a “Just Married” sign after celebrating their nuptials in a garden ceremony on Sunday morning.

Newlywed Honey Boo Boo’s parents departed their Georgia reception – which included a roasted pig and an inflatable slide – on a mud-encrusted yellow four-wheeler.

Mama June, 33, and Sugar Bear, 41, slipped into matching camouflage T-shirts and khakis for the romantic moment.

Their coach even included a “Just Married” sign and an assortment of tin cans and streamers affixed to its rear bumper.

Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson and his bride put on quite a show for their guests as he manned the wheel while Mama June clutched his waist.

Seven-year-old Honey Boo Boo – who had changed into a pink bathing suit – could not bear to be left behind as her parents fled the scene and hopped onto the back of a red ATV.

June Shannon will be seen tying the knot with her partner of nine years, Mike Thompson, on a new episode of their reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

June Shannon, 33, will be shown tying the knot with her partner of nine years Mike Thompson on the family’s television show Her Comes Honey Boo Boo.

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson was happy to play second fiddle as she finally watched her parents exchange vows.

Her sisters Lauryn “Pumpkin”, Anna “Chickadee” and Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon were also important attendees at the event.

But despite appearances, Mama June told People magazine they had been careful not to have an extravagant ceremony, which was marked with a family barbecue.

June Shannon said: “My sister baked the cake, and we spent most of the money on barbecue.

“We stayed true to our roots and made the focus on the family and my commitment to Sugar Bear.

“You can definitely plan an event on a budget!”

Mama June also revealed getting hitched to her 41-year-old partner will be a moment that lives long in the memory.

June Shannon said: “The day was very special mostly because my girls were able to take part in it.

“I felt like it was important for them to see this moment and celebrate my love for Sugar Bear.”

Honey Boo Boo’s mother also said she has plenty of tips to pass on to her family about finding the ideal husband.

“Never settle for a man who doesn’t treat you right. If a guy doesn’t love everything about you, move on! There are plenty of other fish in the sea.

“I give this advice to my daughters because I always want them to be themselves and surround themselves with people who love them for them,” said June Shannon.

Mama June and Sugar Bear first met on an online chat room nine years ago and hit it off.

Soon the pair got together, and their now famous daughter Honey Boo Boo was born two years later.

Video cameras captured the ceremony in all its glory, though guests were reportedly told no mobile phones or cameras were allowed at the wedding.

Honey Boo Boo was crowned Miss Trump Hotel New York 2013 last week during his visit to the Big Apple.

Though Honey Boo Boo, 7, was not dressed up in her usual pageantry garb, she smiled wide wearing her new, sparkly crown.

With her winning sash across her colorful butterfly shirt, Alana Thompson beamed and stood holding a stuffed piglet toy.

Honey Boo Boo has already garnered plenty of accolades, but with her new title she may have her sights set on something even bigger.

As Donald Trump is both the owner of the hotel and organizer of the Miss Universe pageant, it seems as though Honey Boo Boo would have a slight advantage should she ever want to enter the pageant down the line.

To celebrate her new title, Honey Boo Boo’s mother, June Shannon, took her to FAO Schwarz to shop for toys, which is where Angelina Jolie took her sons on the same day.

Honey Boo Boo’s visit to New York got even better with a trip to the ice cream truck with mother June Shannon on Thursday.

The 7-year-old reality star pondered the mouth-watering selections pasted on the side of the truck for some time.

Finally Honey Boo Boo chose a double strawberry soft serve twirl on a wafer cone with sprinkles.

It definitely seemed way too much for one little girl to eat by herself.

In fact, she appeared to have difficulty even holding the cone in her little hand.

But Honey Boo Boo made her cool treat shrink by the second.

Her mother June Shannon, 33, who recently dropped a whopping 115 lbs, followed close behind and even enjoyed a treat of her own – just one day after showing off her slimmer new figure in a mostly black ensemble with gem-collared top.

June Shannon’s ice cream was a single soft serve cone with sprinkles and definitely not good for the diet especially if she means to keep the weight off.

However, judging by how she lost the weight it might just come back anyway.

June Shannon showed off her slimmer figure and her revamped blonde hairdo on a stroll with daughter Honey Boo Boo in New York.

It seems that June Shannon doesn’t want to admit her ongoing makeover was intentional.

“No, I have not felt no pressure to change,” Mama June told the Huffington Post.

“I was blond about six years ago and I wanted to go back blond, so I went back blond and I loved it.

“I have lost 115 pounds, but that’s because I’m on the go. We love fried food, but I lost that weight because I’m more active doing things.”

Certainly a walk through Manhattan will provide some healthy exercise, but while June Shannon was content with just walking, Honey Boo Boo was all about a hot dog.

June Shannon, 33, seemed to have transformed on recent occasion, impressing fans with her 100lb weight-loss and tasteful black dress at GLAAD Media Awards in New York City.

However, it appears Mama June’s red carpet makeover was only temporary.

Honey Boo Boo’s mother was surrounded by her family – including the hit TLC show’s namesake, her daughter Alana – as they filmed new scenes for the series about the pageant princess.

June Shannon was dressed in head-to-toe black, her blonde hair tightened back into a messy ponytail, while Honey Boo Boo hula hooped in the front yard.

While not dissimilar from her appearance on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality show, the look was a striking contrast to her red carpet appearance.

Last month, June Shannon, a mother-of-four, revealed that she had lost more than 100 lbs over the past two years as a result of her hectic TV schedule.

June Shannon appeared to have had a style revelation for the GLAAD Media Awards, gliding down the red carpet in a black maxi dress with subtle make-up, manicured nails and coiffed blonde, curly hair.

The makeover was most likely inspired by the family’s new-found fame, as June Shannon is now photographed wherever she goes.

Honey Boo Boo was selling the treats for $3.50 a box, and even drew cute pictures of chocolate chip cookies in pink on her signs in an effort to promote the drive.

As always, Honey Boo Boo was supported by her family members, including her Mama June, father Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson and sister Lauryn Shannon, who was holding one of the family’s pet chickens.

Honey Boo Boo and her extended family were pictured ignoring basic guidelines as they piled en masse onto the back of a moving quad bike in Georgia.

The four children sat wherever they could find a spot astride the bonnet and back of the small truck, driven by father Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.

They seemed unconcerned by any worries they might fall or be injured, going without helmets.

With two girls sat in front of him Sugar Bear could barely see where he was going, but continued to drive.

At least the girls’ mother Mama June decided to sit out the fun. With her bulky frame the quad bike would have been seriously overloaded.

Instead she watched from the sidelines, a towel wrapped around her wet hair.

Thankfully her daughter Anna “Chickadee”, 18, also skipped the ride, sensibly deciding to stay on firm land with her infant daughter Kaitlyn.

Surprisingly Honey Boo Boo later dug out a pink unicorn helmet to protect her hair as she enjoyed the more sedate activity of riding a bike.

Teamed with her bright pink boots and pale pink Major Attitude T-shirt there was no mistaking Honey Boo Boo’s favorite color.

While Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has been criticized for exploiting the “redneck” family, June Shannon matriarch recently revealed that it is building her daughters a financially secure future.

When Honey Boo Boo and her sisters Lauryn, 12, Jessica, 15, Anna, 18, and Anna’s daughter Kaitlyn turn 21 they will receive a sizeable amount of money.

Honey Boo Boo’s mother, June Shannon, rustled up a Thanksgiving feast for the family during the last episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality show.

June Shannon’s menu featured 15 cans of vegetables, 12 cans of cranberry sauce and a large turkey coated with a gallon of butter.

Talking about the generous helping of cranberry jelly – which she sprinkled with one pound of sugar – June Shannon told viewers: “They get their fruit, plus they don’t get a [urinary tract] infection.”

The mother-of-four added: “I’m not no Martha Stewart or Betty Crocker or nothing like that. It’s going to be what it is and hopefully something turns out right.

“Just like all my other recipes, butter and sugar makes everything taste better.”

Instead of using fresh goods June Shannon said she bought everything, including the vegetables, in cans.

She also admitted that she doesn’t follow recipes and often throws ingredients together to create a “multi-meal”.

Despite her unconventional methods, her family appeared to enjoy her culinary creations.

“Cranberry jelly is the most perfect food. It’s just the perfect color.

“Can shape food is the most perfect food for eating. This is the food of the gods,” Honey Boo Boo explained.

After preparing the Thanksgiving meal June Shannon sat down to enjoy the spread with her family, wearing a turkey-shaped headdress.

The clan sat outdoors as they ate, enjoying the fall sunshine.

In another scene during the one hour holiday special, Honey Boo Boo seemed overjoyed as she unveiled a scarecrow version of her larger-than-life mother.

Honey Boo Boo, 7, proudly presented “Junecrow” complete with a “blonde wig, big head, vajiggle jaggle [and a] forklift foot”.

She even dressed the towering hay bale design in one of June Shannon’s outfits.

Honey Boo Boo and her three teenage sisters told viewers that “it’s got to have four tummies and big old thighs”.

However, when June Shannon saw the finished creation she insisted that it didn’t look anything like her.

In an attempt to make her feel better about herself her partner of 8 years, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, added: “It looks beautiful.”

Later in the show the family is seen visiting a local farm in McIntyre, Georgia.

Honey Boo Boo was shown how to milk cows and goats as her mother June Shannon watched smiling.

“It tastes like regular milk,” Honey Boo Boo said as she enjoyed the fruits of her labor.

Talking about her connection with animals she said that people often refer to her as “Dr. Boolittle”.

Back at home June Shannon decided to test the family on their knowledge of holiday traditions and the history behind Thanksgiving. It turned out to be a challenge for everyone.

June Shannon’s oldest daughter, Anna, declared: “Christopher Columbus went to the New World in 1930-something and that’s where he met Pocahontas.”

And when asked: “What do you know about the first Thanksgiving?”, Honey Boo Boo replied: “Turkeys” before adding: “The Indians lost everything and just got a crappy meal – and casinos.”

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo returns with a clips special on February 10, followed by a Christmas special on February 17, both at 8:00 p.m. EST on TLC.

June Shannon, Honey Boo Boo’s mother, was long overdue for glamorous makeover considering her newfound celebrity.

Mama June, 33, finally submitted to her having her already grey curls dyed blonde, and had a fake tan and make up applied for the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo series of HOLLAday Specials.

June Shannon, who had greying curls pulled back off her face in previous episodes, debuts the new blonde hairdo in a preview clip, with straightened, shoulder-length locks.

To celebrate her makeover, done with the help of her three daughters her partner Mike Thompson, aka Sugar Bear – decided to buy his beloved a white dress famed by Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot.

But while Mike Thompson, dressed as a bear, confessed that the outfit turned him into a “horny bear”, their daughters weren’t so complimentary.

With white arms, a brown back and patches of red too, their brood said that she resembled “Neapolitan ice cream” thanks to some dodgy fake tan application.

But even with an uneven complexion, Mama June’s appearance was a world away from her usual scraped-back grey curls.

However, June Shannon eventually decided that the outfit was “too revealing” and opted for a more Halloween-friendly choice of an Egyptian Mummy.

In the same show, the mother of four also revealed something else – her fear of mayonnaise.

Though she visibly shudders at the mention of the condiment, June Shannon admits that she will eat potato salad or tuna salad, as long as she has not witnessed it being prepared.

“If I watch somebody make it, I can’t [eat] it,” she says.

“The reason why is because when I was growing up, the babysitter I had [would make] mayonnaise sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack… I can’t talk about it, this is making my flesh crawl!”

In a bid to help their mother conquer her fear, the four girls decide to take action, by attempting to explain how ridiculous she is being.

16-year-old Jessica, also known to the family as “Chubbs”, says: “I think it’s stupid that you’re scared of mayonnaise, Mama, I mean seriously, it’s mayonnaise, it’s white and it’s mayonnaise. C’mon, that’s like ketchup but it’s just white.”

When asked why she doesn’t eat mayonnaise, Jessica says that it is because she is a vegetarian, sparking ridicule from the whole family.

Mama June asks: “When did you become a damn vegetarian?”

Lauryn, aka “Pumpkin”, 13, adds: “Marannaise does not have meat in it.”

The pair then embark on a bizarre argument, that doesn’t involve Jessica at all, in which they both seem to be making the same case.

It ends with Pumpkin insisting that “you could just make a marannaise sammich”, causing Mama June to shudder, and Pumpkin to then do an uncanny imitation.

With the family discussion ending in failure, 7-year-old Honey Boo Boo, Jessica and eldest sister Anna “Chickadee”, 17, decide to present Mama June with a large bowl of mayonnaise.

“Coming from the kitchen with the mayonnaise to the dining room, you could feel the tension in there,” Jessica reveals.

As the girls goad their mother with exclamations of, “Look, it’s so yummy!” and “It jiggles, it’s pretty!” June Shannon gets increasingly distressed.

“My anxiety levels is up like beyond out the roof,” she says.

“I mean like my chest is real tight, my throat feels like its gonna close up… Y’all gotta get that outta there, c’mon now… I’m gonna go into full panic ******* attack… Y’all gotta get it outta here FOR REAL!”

She failed to find much sympathy from Honey Boo Boo, who recalls afterwards: “Mama was turning white, just like mayonnaise.”

The first episode in the HOLLAday Specials sees the family prepare for Halloween. According to a précis of the episode from TLC, a pumpkin carving incident ends with Uncle Poodle stuck inside a one of the gourds and the family gets hopelessly lost in a corn maze.

Honey Boo Boo’s mother, June Shannon, has revealed she won’t be upgrading her modest home for a luxury pad any time soon – as she is not profiting from reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

Instead the self-proclaimed “redneck” has divided the estimated $15,000 to $20,000 episode fee into equal trust funds for her four daughters and granddaughter.

“I want my kids to look back and say, <<Mama played it smart. Not like those other reality TV people>>,” she told website TMZ.

And Mama June, as she is known, has ensured she won’t be tempted to take the money for herself by asking TLC to pay it straight into the trust funds.

“TLC puts the money into the girls’ trust accounts for me and then I get an email telling me how much everyone gets,” she explained.

“You’re never gonna see me drive a Range Rover or a Mercedes. I’ll drive one if someone else pays for it. Never gonna live above my means.”

Her far-sightedness means that when 7-year-old Honey Boo Boo, aka Alana Thompson, and her sisters Lauryn, 12, Jessica, 15, Anna, 18, and Anna’s daughter Kaitlyn turn 21 they will receive a sizeable amount of money.

Only if they need money for their education, or healthcare, can the girls access the money before then.

Full time mother June Shannon, who is known for her love of extreme couponing, explained that she and her partner live off his salary as a contractor.

The family has made one large purchase since their new found fame – a second hand, 7-year-old Ford Expedition.

Honey Boo Boo returns to screens this holiday season with four television specials, and in anticipation, the 7-year-old has revealed her most prized and hated Christmas gifts.

During the Christmas special, which airs on February 17, Mama June also joins in and explains why the mother-daughter-duo will be on Santa Claus’ “nice” list this year.

The precocious youngster says in a TLC preview: “The worst Christmas gift I ever got was my Barbie car that I had to take back because it was too small.”

Meanwhile, her favorite gift is something she treasures every day.

“My best Christmas present was my tent that goes over my bed,” she says.

June Shannon’s top gift was just as versatile.

She reveals: “The best Christmas gift I got was a year ago when I got my crock pot, ’cause we were able to put meals in there and then just forgot about it, come back like eight hours later and it would be ready.

June Shannon, a mother of four, can’t remember the worst gift she was given, but recalls a $5 gift card for Walmart somewhere along the way.

“What are you gunna by nowadays with $5? I mean come on now,” she scolds.

On whether the pair will be on Santa’s naughty or nice list, both say they’ll definitely be placed in the “nice” category.

June Shannon said: “I think I’m going to be on Santa’s nice list this year. We give a lot back to our community and that, and I think we get a few extra brownie points because Sugar Bear is Santa’s little helper.”

Without missing a beat, Honey Boo Boo agreed.

“Nice list,” she said.

“My daddy’s always Santa Claus, so…”

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Halloween special airs on TLC January 6th, the Thanksgiving special on January 13th, the Clip Show on February 10th and the Christmas special on February 17th.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality show has been branded by Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine as the “worst thing that’s ever happened” to civilization.

Adam Levine has slammed the reality series – which follows 7-year-old beauty pageant contestant Alana Thompson (aka Honey Boo Boo) and her family – for causing “decay” to society and insists its high viewing figures do not mean it has anything important to offer.

He told GQ magazine: “Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the decay of Western civilization.

“Just because so many people watch the show doesn’t mean it’s good.

“So many people witness atrocities and can’t take their eyes away from them, but that doesn’t mean they’re good. That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That’s. Ever. Happened!”

Adam Levine also slammed Honey Boo Boo’s parents, June Shannon and Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.

He blasted the “despicable” parenting shown in the programme during his expletive-filled rant.

Adam Levine said: “It’s complete f***ing ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids. F**k those people.

“You can put that in the magazine: F**k those idiots. They’re just the worst. Sorry, I’m so sensitive to that – like, I don’t know, man, it’s upsetting. Just to clarify, I said, <<F**K THOSE PEOPLE>>.”
