Pregnant Snooki was the guest of honor at a bridal shower held at The Grandview in her hometown of Poughkeepsie on Sunday, July 20, Us Weekly reported.
Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi celebrated her second pregnancy with a Great Gatsby-themed party with 100 family and friends, including her former MTV co-stars Sammi Giancola and Deena Cortese.
Jenni “Jwoww” Farley – who just gave birth to daughter Meilani on July 13 – sat out the bash.
Snooki, 26, shared photos from her special day via Twitter.

“That’s me!” Snooki wrote on Sunday, alongside a picture of her “The Bride-to-Be” table place card set next to her plate filled with brunch items like scrambled eggs.
She shared another snapshot of herself and her 22-month-old son, big brother in training Lorenzo.
“With my prince,” Snooki gushed.
Nicole Polizzi – who’s been engaged to baby daddy Jionni LaValle since 2012 – received several presents at the shower, but guests didn’t leave empty-handed. Everyone was gifted with overflowing goodie bags.
“Had such an amazing day with friends and family,” Snooki tweeted after the event.

Now in her second trimester, Jwoww, 27, and fiancé Roger Mathews told family and friends via a Christmas card that showed off a sonogram image.
“We couldn’t’ have wished for a better gift this Christmas! Happy Holidays from our growing family to yours! Love, Jenni, Roger and arriving July, 2014 Baby Mathews.”

The reality star said: “My son’s officially crawling! Yay.”

Snooki, real name Nicole Polizzi, was reunited with fellow Jersey Shore castmates Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola.
Joined by the star’s fiancé Jionni Lavalle, the trio spent some of the party catching up together and Snooki posted a photograph of the quartet on her Twitter page.
“With my love bugs @mtvronnie @samxoswthrt @jlavalle5,” Snooki wrote alongside the snap.
The stars have a vested interest in raising money for the hurricane’s relief effort, with much of their beloved Jersey Shore affected by last year’s storm.
The party was hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs and marked part of WrestleMania week, with proceeds benefitting The Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund, both of which continue to provide assistance in the wake of the storm.
Snooki recently appeared on the Dr. Oz TV show where she encouraged dieters to stick to their weight loss plans.
“If I can lose 42 lbs. after giving birth six months [ago], I mean, anybody could do it,” she told the show.
“You just need the dedication, and you need to want to have your body back.”
Snooki reached 109 lbs in January this year after gaining more than 40 during her pregnancy.

“Just walked by Snooki at SiriusXM. I feel like I need a shower,” Adam Schein wrote, beckoning an almost instant reply from the Jersey Shore star, who rose to fame as MTV documented her wild antics in Seaside Heights with the rest of the cast.
“Why can’t you say that to my face though? #toughguy,” she responded.

The tweets sparked outrage as Snooki and Adam Shein’s followers came out of their respective corners with vitriolic insults for each other and the TV and radio personalities.
RadarOnline credited a popular Twitter source, @IncarceratedBob, who calls himself the “#1 Underground *Breaking Sports News*” with announcing Snooki had taken their argument to higher-ups.
“**UPDATED RADIO NEWS**Source: @snooki just went to #XM management trying to get @Adamschein fired for his comments.. she’s having a tantrum,” he wrote on Monday.
Snooki, 25, appears to have ignored Adam Schein on Twitter since the incident, while thanking fans for offering their support.
Her profile makes one thing clear.
Snooki describes herself as a “Proud Mommy & Fiance 3 Devoted Animal Print Lover” – but only after writing a message to her critics: “Ignorance & Bullies don’t phase this b****.”
Adam Schein was tweeting from the same handle on Wednesday afternoon and appeared to have retained his position at SiriusXM despite his remark and Snooki’s alleged complaint.

Snooki led the way on Monday morning when she made an early start on Good Morning America to appeal for funds.
And it was a success, with charitable fans donating $7 million. Thrilled Snooki tweeted: “Wow GMA raises 7 million! Thank you everyone for calling in!!!”
As a resident of the area Snooki has been busy tweeting to her many followers with appeals to help.
Snooki has also been updating them about her own situation, tweeting: “Back in jersey! Hope our power comes back this week!!”
Buildings were knocked down, roads swept away, the historic boardwalk partially destroyed, and a piece of the iconic Star Jet rollercoaster was left hanging into the ocean after the storm hit Sunset Height a week ago.

On November 15th, Snooki will appear alongside her former Jersey Shore castmates in a one-hour fundraising special.
The program will be broadcast from MTV’s Times Square studio in New York.
The network said on Monday that the program will solicit contributions for the rebuilding of Seaside Heights, the heart of the Jersey Shore and the principal setting for the Jersey Shore series.
For this effort, MTV will be partnering with Architecture for Humanity, a nonprofit organization that provides design and construction services to communities in need. Seaside Heights was among numerous coastal areas devastated by Sandy last week.
Snooki tweeted: “MTV, Arch For Humanity and I are coming together to help re-build Seaside stronger than ever. Join us November 15 on MTV.”
Snooki is already back to her pre-pregnancy weight after eight weeks and she has posted a self portrait on her Twitter page.
The Jersey Shore star showcased a tiny waist and enviable legs as she pouted and posed for the camera.
Emphasizing her trim figure by putting her hand on her waist, Snooki, 24, already appears to have a figure most new mothers can only dream of.
And becoming a mum to baby son Lorenzo doesn’t seem to have held the star – real name Nicole Polizzi – back in the style stakes.
Snooki looked sexy and chic in a black military-inspired jacket with shoulder pads, a matching high-waisted miniskirt and a simple white vest.
The diminutive New Jersey resident completed her look with a gold belt, dramatic drop earrings, lashings of gold jewellery and a top knot hairstyle.
Alongside the photo, Snooki wrote: “Buntastic.”

Petite Snooki – who is engaged to Lorenzo’s father, Jionni LaValle – gained a healthy 35 lbs during her pregnancy but already looks to have lost most of the weight.
She told People magazine after the birth: “I’m definitely trying to eat healthier – grilled chicken and vegetables – and I can’t really work out for six week, but then I’ll start hard-core training.
“I’ll get a trainer or I’ll try a boot-camp or go back to hot yoga.
“I gained 35 lbs, but I’ve already lost 10. I’ll bounce back.”

The pint-sized reality star seems overwhelmed with love for her new arrival.
“It’s a different kind of love that I never felt before,” says Snooki, who is currently filming the second season of her MTV spin-off Snooki & JWOWW.
Snooki went through 24 hours of labor before she and fiancé Jionni LaValle welcomed little Lorenzo Dominic on August 26.
“We were going back and forth, and I just happened to think of Lorenzo,” says 25-year-old Jionni LaValle, revealing that he was inspired by a child he knew from his hometown.
“She loved it.”
And the couple chose Lorenzo’s middle name in tribute to one of Snooki’s late uncles.
“I did it for my dad,” she says.
Snooki, who will also appear in the final season of Jersey Shore which airs in the U.S, on October 4, is currently enjoying spending time with her family and “adorable son”.
She has wasted no time in taking to her Twitter page to talk about the joys of motherhood.
“Lorenzo is even cuter today,” Snooki wrote in one post, while in another, she tweeted: “I love nursing my little man!”
Snooki has also posted some pictures of her post-baby figure, posting one photograph of her sporting her trademark animal print with the caption: “Slowly getting my swag back.”
And she’s ensured she is returning to her trademark Snooki fashion, tweeting: “I even fit in my heels again – woohoo!” in another post, showing a picture of her feet.
Instead of opting for a private birth, Jersey Shore star Snooki invited MTV cameras into the labor room to film the intimate moment.
And while they were kicked out shortly before little Lorenzo made his first appearance, Snooki’s fiancé Jionni LaValle captured the entire birth on camera for an upcoming episode of Jersey Shore spin-off show Snooki & JWOWW.
A source told RadarOnline: “Viewers will see Snooki in labor and the camera crew was kicked out as she was about to give birth. However, Snooki’s fiance, Jionni LaValle, was using a personal camcorder and he carried on filming.
“Lorenzo was ready for his proud parents to show him off to the world and was filmed hours after the birth. It was done very tastefully and with respect to Snooki and other patients at the New Jersey hospital.”

The sighing came as Snooki today tweeted the first snap of herself since giving birth in the early hours of Sunday morning.
She was snuggled up in a leopard print blanket – and she also shared a picture inside her little man’s nursery, which features his name spelled out over his leopard print changing table, captioning it: “My world.”
Snooki added: “Lorenzo is even cuter today. I’m so lucky.”
It also seems Snooki has had a change of heart about breastfeeding.
After expressing her concerns about it just months before giving birth – she shared today how she loves nursing baby Lorenzo.
The revelation came after one fan asked her on Twitter: “Are you nursing? If so shout it out proud!”
Snooki duly replied: “I love nursing my little man!”
Back in June Snooki told Good Morning America that she was nervous about the idea of breastfeeding.
“I’m just scared. My friend did and she said it was so painful…but I definitely want to pump because it’s the best nutrients for the baby.”
But somewhat apprehensively she added: “It’s kind of like you’re a cow and you’re just milking.”
But since giving birth over the weekend to her son, Snooki, real name Nicole Polizzi, has had a change of heart.
“All the pain and anxiety is so worth it. Xoxo,” she went on.
Earlier Snooki shared a picture of herself on Twitter, writing: “Snuggled up in my leopard print robe. I’m legit an old lady. Rockin the diapers with that old lady gangsta lean.”
Snooki had managed to glue on her huge fake eyelashes, apply eye make-up and brush her hair into her trademark beehive, however.
“Hardly any sleep but SO worth it!” the diminutive Guidette added, although she has also found plenty of time to update her Twitter page since the birth.
She has not yet posted any photos of the newborn as she has probably negotiated a lucrative deal for a first look at the tot with a magazine.

A Snooki representative told MTV: “The world just got another Guido! Lorenzo Dominic LaValle has entered the world weighing 6 pounds, 5 ounces. Nicole, Jionni and Enzo are doing great!”
Snooki took a break from tweeting during the birth, but was soon back updating her fans saying: “Post birth isn’t so comfy and glamorous. But my son is FABULOUS.”

Snooki went into labor this morning and simultaneously tweeted a picture with the caption “fierce”.
Luckily it wasn’t of her, but rather of a trio of big cats – a lion, tiger and cheetah.
The news of her labor emerged after Snooki was seen checking into the maternity unit at her local hospital.
TMZ confirmed the reports: “We’re told she is at a hospital in New Jersey now and is expected to deliver her little meatball to the world some time in the near future.”
Earlier in the day Snooki had written: “I’m a balloon waiting to pop” as she prepared for the birth of her first child.
Snooki,and fiancé Jionni LaValle announced that they were to be parents in May.
They revealed that they were expecting a boy, which they planned to name Lorenzo.
Earlier this week, Snooki admitted she was feeling apprehensive about becoming a parent for the first time.
She told In Touch Weekly magazine: “I’m nervous that I’m not going to be a good mom. I just really hope I know what I’m doing!”
Snooki even said that while she had become famous for her partying and drinking on Jersey Shore, her pregnancy is crazier than anything she experienced throughout her time on the MTV show.
She said: “At the Shore you’re going to hook up, get into a fight or go to jail. You only have three options. But being pregnant you have no idea what’s going on!”
After the birth she also has plenty of work planned, with her MTV spin-off series alongside castmate Jennifer J-WOWW Farley recently picked up for a second season.
However, next time around, the show will now relocate to a large house on Johnson Avenue, in Manchester, New Jersey.

Snooki, 24, told JuJu Chang that they will be calling their little guido, Lorenzo.
“I think we’re going to do Lorenzo,” she revealed.
“Because then you can call him Enzo.”
She added that if the couple were going to have a girl, they would have called her Giada.
In her hit reality series Jersey Shore, Snooki has long been known as a hard-partying guidette, fond of drinking, “smushing” and tanning.
But now that she is expecting her first child, Snooki has only motherhood on the brain and that includes making big decisions such as whether to breastfeed her firstborn or not.
In the interview Snooki also revealed that she will not be breastfeeding her son when he arrives later this year.
Snooki said that she will be reaching for the breast pump instead.
“It just looks so painful,” she told JuJuChang.
“…But I definitely want to pump, because it has the best nutrients for your baby.”

“That freaks me out. I mean just drink regular milk,” she said.
When JuJu Chang showed the reality star a breast pump in a New York children’s store, Snooki likened the process to milking a cow.
“It is kind like your cow, you just milk it,” she said.
Meanwhile, Jionni LaValle admitted that a lot had changed since the couple found out that they were expecting.
“Last year it was <<Let’s go to Vegas for New Years>>… Now were going to Disney with the family,” he said.
Snooki, who admittedly loves to have a drink, insisted that not a drop of alcohol has passed her lips since finding out that she was pregnant.
“Obviously no drinking. None whatsoever. Like I am scared to even have caffeine,” she explained.
“All my friends are like <<You can have a glass of wine>>. I’m like <<No I refuse>> because I am going to be that person who has a glass of wine and it will come out with three legs.”
She said that she prefers to stay away from people who drink because it is tempting. This perhaps the reason why she recently moved out of the Jersey Shore house whilst filming the sixth season of the series.
“I don’t like to be around people that drink because then I will miss it,” she admitted to JuJu Chang.
As well as the booze, Snooki has also given up on her beloved tanning regime, but said she is embracing the new paler version of herself.
“I use bronzer on my legs but I didn’t today and look really pale,” she explained.
“I am actually embracing the paleness that comes along with it. It’s a new look.”
One thing that she will not be giving up anytime soon though is the sky-high heels that she has regularly been stepping out in throughout her pregnancy.
“I feel confident in them and I know I am not going to fall,” she said.
“So until it feels really uncomfortable, I am still going to rock them because I am only 24 and I am pregnant, but that doesn’t mean I have to wear flat and ugly shoes.”
Snooki also revealed that she will be upfront with her children when it comes to her controversial past.
“They’re going to Google it no matter what I say,” she said.
“So I’m just going to show them myself and say, <<This is what mommy did. Learn from her mistakes>>.”
Meanwhile Snooki’s ex-boyfriend Emilio Masella has denied that he leaked recent nude pictures that are allegedly of the reality star.
Last week photos which appear to be of the Jersey Shore star disrobing were circulating online.
Emilio Masella, who dated Snooki briefly at the start of 2010, told TMZ that he hadn’t even viewed the pictures until they emerged on the web.
He also insisted that he could not have had access to them in the first place because he believes the snaps were taken more recently, before the reality star got pregnant, judging by her slimmer figure.
Regardless, he said he simply does not care.
“I honestly don’t care. I’m trying to get rid of trash in my life … I’m done with her and moving on with my own career,” he said.
While the alleged pictures certainly looked like the brunette at first glance, it’s still unconfirmed if they’re legitimate or not.
In one photo a woman, who appears to be Snooki, is wearing a white robe.
The grainy photo is of the girl, wearing bright green nail polish, looking seductively into her own mobile device, as if she’s taking a self-portrait.
The next shot shows the robe being opened to reveal private parts, which have been crossed out by black bars.
The photos appear to have been taken in a hotel room as the sheets look like hotel-issued linens and there is a room service tray on the bed.
The third picture in the series is a close up of a girl’s full nude body. Again, the private parts have been black-boxed out.
Hurricane Irene killed last night at least ten people, including two children, as the storm hit North Carolina and Virginia. More than 2 million people from South Carolina to Maryland were without power as the giant 580-mile-wide storm brought widespread flooding and high winds that knocked down power lines.
Meanwhile Irene’s power was downgraded to category 1, but as it approached New York, forecasts warned it would hit the city at or near hurricane strength.
According to the National Weather Service, conditions were ripe for tornadoes in the city, Long Island and southern Connecticut, as twisters were reported touching down in Delaware and Maryland.
In Maryland, officials warned of a potential dam failure late on Saturday, they warned “may cause significant flooding that could threaten people, homes and roads downstream from the St. Mary’s Lake Dam”.

St Mary’s County Government urged residents in the immediate downstream area to move family and pets upstairs or to a high place with a means of escape.
Deaths due to hurricane Irene included two children, an 11-year-old boy in Virginia, killed when a tree crashed through his roof and another child from North Carolina, who died in a crash at an intersection where traffic lights were out.
Another man in Onslow County, North Carolina, suffered a heart attack and died while boarding up his windows, according to the Charlotte Observer.

A man in Nash County was killed outside his house after he was struck by a tree limb picked up by the strong winds.
An identified man, who went to feed his animals outside his Nashville, North Carolina home, was killed by a tree or branch which fell on him.
In Florida, a surfer was killed when he was knocked off his board at New Smyrna Beach, where surfers had flocked to take advantage of 10-foot waves.
Other two people died in car accidents in North Carolina on Saturday night as a result of the hurricane.
Another man died in Chesterfield County, Virginia, after a tree fell on his home.
In Queenstown, Maryland, a woman died after a tree knocked a chimney through the roof of her home, crushing her.
Sandbags laid down in Manhattan which will be used to control possible floods
Tornadoes were reported touching down in Delaware and Maryland.
In Lewes, Delaware, Governor Jack Markell said at least 17 homes had been damaged by a twister. In total, up to 40 houses were damaged in the town because of the storm.
The National Weather Service reported a tornado touching down in Nassau Station, Delaware, and Maryland State Police said there was an apparent tornado on the lower Eastern Shore of the state.
Andrew Cuomo, the New York Governor raised the number of National Guard soldiers deployed to New York City to 1,900.
The soldiers, who have been mobilized from across the state, will assist with traffic control on bridges and tunnels, sandbagging operations at the World Trade Center site, evacuation shelter operations in New York, the construction of barriers for railway yards and train tunnels, and other hurricane emergency efforts.
Hurricane Irene came ashore near North Carolina’s Cape Lookout around 7:30am EDT, and then chugged up the coast on a north-northeast track.
Irene stirred up 7 feet waves, and forecasts warned of storm-surge danger on the coasts of Virginia and Delaware, along the Jersey Shore and in New York Harbor and Long Island Sound.
