Che Cruz, the man charged with trespassing at Selena Gomez’s home, has been sentenced to 45 days in jail, prosecutors say.
Che Cruz, 20, was arrested on Sunday and accused of breaking into Selena Gomez’s guesthouse in Calabasas, California, while she was at home.
He admitted trespassing at a court appearance on Wednesday and was immediately sentenced.
Che Cruz was also given three years probation and ordered to stay away from Selena Gomez.
Los Angeles police said Che Cruz was arrested after Selena Gomez, 21, heard a noise at her home on Sunday night and called security.
Che Cruz then knocked on the door of her $3 million property. A friend answered but slammed it shut when he asked for Selena Gomez.
Security guards later found him in the guesthouse and held him until police arrived.
