Si Robertson book signing at PX on Fort Hood

More than 800 people showed up early Wednesday morning at the Post Exchange (PX) on Fort Hood, Texas, to have books signed by Duck Dynasty’s Si Robertson.

Uncle Si Robertson, who’s a Vietnam veteran, has a son, Scott Robertson, who was assigned to Fort Hood at one time, and deployed to Iraq.

Si Robertson’s new book is titled Si-cology 1: Tales and Wisdom from Duck Dynasty’s Favorite Uncle.

Officials at the PX said they planned for 600 to 800 fans, but more than that were in the line that wound around the building.

Many fans said they like the show because of the family values and the fact that there’s no profanity so even kids can watch it.

The event even attracted some Si Robertson lookalikes, who said they’ve watched the show since it premiered in 2012.

Si Robertson will be visiting other military bases for similar book signings during the next few months.
