A number of Hollywood stars will join a women’s march on Washington on January 21, the day after Donald Trump’s inauguration as president.
America Ferrera, who backed Democrat Hillary Clinton, is helping to organize the protest.
Other actresses taking part include Amy Schumer, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand and Zendaya.
In a statement, America Ferrara said: “Since the election, so many fear that their voices will go unheard.
“As artists, women, and most importantly dedicated Americans, it is critical that we stand together in solidarity for the protection, dignity and rights of our communities.”
Scarlett Johansson, who has criticized the Donald Trump’s incoming administration for “attacking” reproductive rights, said she was taking part to make her voice heard and “stand up for what I believe in”.
The protest organizers say they expect more than 100,000 people to turn out for the march on January 21, the day after Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Chelsea Handler will lead a sister march in Park City, Utah, one of more than 150 solidarity marches planned around the US and the world next Saturday.
Other stars who have said they will take part in the Washington march include Uzo Aduba, Lea DeLaria and Diane Guerrero.
According to organizers say a number of other celebrities will either participate in the march or express solidarity with the marchers in other ways.
They include Katy Perry, Julianne Moore, Cher and Debra Messing.
Not many Hollywood stars have said they will be attending Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20.
2010 America’s Got Talent runner-up Jackie Evancho will perform the national anthem at the inauguration ceremony.
According to new reports, Giuliana Rancic says her former Fashion Police co-host Kelly Osbourne is “pathetic”.
Giuliana Rancic, 41, “doesn’t understand” why Kelly Osbourne recently branded her “a liar” and wants her to find “someone else to obsess over”, People magazine’s website reports.

Kelly Osbourne, 30, declared earlier this week that she and Giuliana Rancic would never be friends again: “I will never admit to liking Giuliana because I don’t. I don’t think she’s a good person and I think she’s a liar.”
Giuliana Rancic and Kelly Osbourne fell out in March after Giuliana came under fire for “offensive” comments she made about Zendaya Coleman on Fashion Police and Kelly opted to quit the show after distancing herself from the scandal on Twitter.
However, Giuliana Rancic believes Kelly Osbourne is merely trying to “divert attention” from herself after she was slammed for making an offensive comment about the Latino community on The View earlier this month, People.com reports.
Kelly Osbourne has left Fashion Police on Friday, February 27, E! Entertainment Television has confirmed.
The TV channel said in a statement: “Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s <<Fashion Police>> to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers.”
Kelly Osbourne has been very vocal about her displeasure with the situation regarding an ill-advised joke made by Fashion Police co-star Giuliana Rancic about Zendaya Coleman’s hairstyle. Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter even hinted on Twitter that she was considering leaving the show, but tweeted that she was contractually handcuffed from saying anything else.

Neither the joke about her friend Zendaya Coleman, nor the ensuing fallout, had anything to do with her decision, according to the Daily Mail.
According to TMZ, Kelly Osbourne was unhappy with how the show was produced this past season and that producers were “up to here” with her.
“Kelly stayed on the show after the beloved Joan Rivers passed away, but nothing has been the same since,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“The chemistry has not been the same between the hosts since the show came back on air and Kelly knows it’s time to move on.”
“This has nothing to do with Giuliana,” the source continued.
“Zendaya accepted Giuliana’s apology and she’s already moved on to a new hair style.”
Kelly Osbourne has been a fixture on Fashion Police since 2011.
