Johnny Depp and Amber Heard got married on February 3 at their Los Angeles home.
They legally wed in the US days before they are set to exchange vows on his private island Little Hall’s Pond Cay in the Bahamas.
Johnny Depp, 51, and Amber Heard, 28, are slated to have a slightly bigger island wedding reception over the February 7-8 weekend, with around 50 guests, including the actor’s kids with Vanessa Paradis, Lily Rose and Jack.
Some family members and friends will stay at Johnny Depp’s house on the island, while others will camp out on his 156-foot yacht Vajoliroja.
Amber Heard will walk down the aisle in a Stella McCartney wedding dress. It’s not known, at this time, what the bride and groom wore for their more private wedding on February 3.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard started dating in 2012 after meeting on the set of The Rum Diary and got engaged in January 2014.
The wedding marks the first marriage for Amber Heard and the second for Johnny Depp, who was married to Lori Anne Allison from 1993 to 1995.
Johnny Depp was in a long relationship with Vanessa Paradis, with whom he had his children, before they split up in 2012.

Johnny Depp opened up about his split from Vanessa Paradis, his former partner of 14 years with whom he has two children, admitting the break-up last June “wasn’t easy” on anyone.
Johnny Depp, 50, told Rolling Stone magazine: “The last couple years have been a bit bumpy. At times, certainly unpleasant, but that’s the nature of breakups, I guess, especially when there are kiddies involved.
“Relationships are very difficult. Especially in the racket that I’m in because you’re constantly away or they’re away and so it’s hard. It wasn’t easy on her. It wasn’t easy on me. It wasn’t easy on the kids. So, yeah. The trajectory of that relationship – you play it out until it goes, one thing leads to another.
“So for whatever reason that ceases, it doesn’t stop the fact that you care for that person, and they’re the mother of your kids, and you’ll always know each other, and you’re always gonna be in each other’s lives because of those kids. You might as well make the best of it.”

Johnny Depp, who was famed for his tumultuous making and breaking up with British model Kate Moss, says he handled his relationship meltdown with more maturity this time round.
He said: “In terms of the breakup, I definitely wasn’t going to rely on the drink to ease things or cushion the blow or cushion the situation.
“Cause that could have been fatal. I felt it was my duty to be real clear throughout that. I had something pretty serious to focus on, really, which was making sure that my kids were gonna be cool.”
And he added that his children are doing well.
“They’ve been incredibly understanding, incredibly strong throughout the whole ordeal. And it’s hard on every side. You know, Vanessa’s side, certainly not easy. My side, not easy. The kids are the most complicated,” Johnny Depp explained.
“The thing is, kiddies come first. You can’t shield them, because then you’d be lying. So you can at least be honest with your kids, and you say the absolute truth to your child – that was very important to not pussyfoot around.”

Johnny Depp, who celebrates his 50th birthday today, was hailed as the world’s sexiest man, but he still has not achieved the stable home life he longed for.
Sources told The Sunday People part of it is that Johnny Depp always acts like a teenager with women, rather than a middle-aged dad of two.
And his psyche must owe a lot to a childhood in which his volatile parents uprooted him 30 times in 15 years.

Yves Bouhadana, now a 49-year-old sales executive living in Ohio, recalled: “She was absolutely beautiful. Still is.”
“Lori was his first serious relationship and he couldn’t wait to marry her. She is a very private person and doesn’t like to talk about the marriage. They are still friends.
“That’s the great thing with Johnny. He hasn’t changed since we were at school. We all still get together.”
Johnny Depp wanted to make it as a rock guitarist and Lori Anne Allison supported him as a make-up artist when they moved to Hollywood with his band The Kids.
But musical success and happiness eluded him. The Kids opened for the Ramones, Iggy Pop, The Pretenders and Talking Heads but the band failed to get a record deal and his marriage fell apart within two years. Biographer Cristopher Heard said: “It ended just simply because of the stress of failure.”
Johnny Depp and Lori Anne Allison were evicted from several apartments and were divorced in 1985. But Lori Anne Allison had introduced him to actor Nicolas Cage and the two became mates. Nicolas Cage persuaded him to get an agent.
Success came quickly with a memorable role in 1984’s A Nightmare on Elm Street, which became an unexpected hit.
Soon Johnny Depp was engaged to Twin Peaks beauty Sherilyn Fenn but they split after two years, blaming work commitments.
Never on his own for long, Johnny Depp dated Dirty Dancing’s Jennifer Grey and – following a familiar pattern – proposed.

She gushed to magazine Dazed about Johnny Depp: “He’s such a wonderful presence; he is enigmatic and compelling and a true artist, seriously intelligent and incredibly sensitive.
“Everybody on set respects and likes him, which says a lot about an actor. It’s a grueling job at times and the stress level that everybody feels in the industry is intense – but it doesn’t affect Johnny.
