Irish singer Sinead O’Connor has announced her marriage to Barry Herridge is over again and she has confirmed that the relationship could not be fixed.

Sinead O’Connor, 45, had tried to give things another go with Barry Herridge after the pair split in December following just two weeks of marriage.

In a statement on her website, Sinead O’Connor wrote: “His association with me became something very bad for his life.

“And slowly since we were married I became very ill as result of what was done to my husband and i was unable to cope. And became depressed..”

Sinead O’Connor, who has been married twice before, also insisted that she will not be getting romantically involved with anyone again, and appealed to fans to send her adult toys to help ease any frustrations.

The singer wrote: “I will never again associate myself romantically with anyone as I could not bear to see these things done again to someone I love.

“I’m gonna be me. And if anyone doesn’t like that they can seek therapy. Because I am wonderful. Exactly as I am. As Bridget Jones would say.

“And I shall continue being me. If being me means certain Irish media will try to destroy my romantic life … So be it … I have ten fingers and a number of toys (not really the toys. But need them now so maybe u cud all post me some!) (sic).”

Sinead O’Connor continued to blame the Irish media for their alleged harsh treatment of drugs counselor Barry Herridge.

Her statement came just a day after she appealed to fans to her find a psychiatrist with desperate pleas for help on Twitter.

Sinead O’Connor began her series of odd Tweets by claiming that Ireland is a “VERY hard place to find help in”, before adding: “Does any1 know a psychiatrist in dublin or wicklow who could urgently see me today please? im really un-well… and in danger.”

The singer then went on to say that she was in “serious danger” and revealed she was going to casualty after breaking her ankle.

Sinead O’Connor is now on her way to London, and has been keeping her followers updated on her Twitter page this morning.

She wrote: “OMG! There’s an actual beautiful bar where u can smoke in terminal one!!!! I never knew! Happy girl.

“Coffee, fags and tonnes of men removing their belts at security! Sexiest place on earth. What is sexier than a man taking off his belt?”

Twitter made a complaint regarding changes made by Google to integrate its social network Google+ into search results.

The new feature is called Search plus Your World, will automatically push results from Google+ up the search rankings.

Tweeting on the news, Twitter’s lawyer Alex Macgillivray described it as a “bad day for the internet”.

Google is determined to push its social network in the face of continued rivalry with Facebook.

The current changes were about even greater personalization, it said. It already includes personal search history in its search algorithms.

The three changes are:

Personal Results – which enable users to find information such as Google+ photos and posts, both their own and those shared specifically with them, that only they will be able to see on their results pages

Profiles in Search – both in autocomplete and results, users will be able to find people they are close to or might be interested in following

People and Pages – helps users find people profiles and Google+ pages related to a specific topic or area of interest, and enable people to follow them with just a few clicks.

Twitter made a complaint regarding changes made by Google to integrate its social network Google+ into search results

“Search is pretty amazing at finding that one needle in a haystack of billions of webpages, images, videos, news and much more,” said Amit Singhal in the company’s official blog.

“But clearly, that isn’t enough. You should also be able to find your own stuff on the web, the people you know and things they’ve shared with you, as well as the people you don’t know but might want to… all from one search box,” he added.

Twitter’s general counsel Alex Macgillivray tweeted in response to the changes: “Bad day for the internet. Having been there, I can imagine the dissension @Google to search being warped this way.”

Alex Macgillivray had previously been employed at Google.

Twitter expanded his point in an official statement.

“For years, people have relied on Google to deliver the most relevant results any time they wanted to find something on the internet.

“Often, they want to know more about world events and breaking news. Twitter has emerged as a vital source of this real-time information, with more than 100 million users sending 250 million tweets every day on virtually every topic. As we’ve seen time and time again, news breaks first on Twitter; as a result, Twitter accounts and tweets are often the most relevant results.

“We’re concerned that as a result of Google’s changes, finding this information will be much harder for everyone. We think that’s bad for people, publishers, news organisations and Twitter users.”

Google hit back at the criticisms.

”We are a bit surprised by Twitter’s comments about Search plus Your World, because they chose not to renew their agreement with us last summer and since then we have observed their rel=nofollow instructions,” Google said in a statement.

This refers to a technical barrier which makes it difficult for Google to rank Twitter information, a spokeswoman explained.

There is also little sharing between Google and its other big rival Facebook.

Stepping into the growing row between the three firms, Google chief executive Eric Schmidt told MarketingLand magazine that his company was not favouring its own social network over Facebook and Twitter. He said that all would be treated equally if the two rivals granted the search giant the right permissions to access their content.

Search expert John Battelle said in his blog post that social search would mean little until Facebook and Google settled their differences and offered consumers what they really wanted – Facebook data integrated with Google’s search.

“The unwillingness of Facebook and Google to share a public commons when it comes to the intersection of search and social is corrosive to the connective tissue of our shared culture,” he said.

Twitter ground to a halt on the last day of 2011 as it was overloaded with New Year messages.

In UK, the social network crashed at about 3:00 p.m. and was out of action for more than an hour.

The moment coincided with midnight celebrations in Japan when revelers were sending a record 16,197 tweets per second.

The overload meant no one could post new messages or read existing ones. Instead, frustrated users were greeted with the error message: “Twitter is over capacity.”

Twitter returned to working order but then stopped on several other occasions, prompting speculation that it was being hit by the arrival of New Year in different parts of the world.

One user tweeted: “It’s amazing how three words can ruin my day! Twitter over capacity.”

The meltdown happened as the world welcomed in 2012, a year of historic importance for Britain, with the Olympics, the Paralympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee set to be defining moments.

NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne has sparked a real rampage on Twitter over breastfeeding in public, after he said he was disgusted to see a mom’s breast as she was feeding her son in a supermarket.

Kasey Kahne, 31, said he first thought he was imagining things, but once he realized the mother was indeed nursing, he began tweeting his horror.

“Just walking through supermarket. See a mom breast feeding little kid,” the bachelor tweeted.

“Took second look because obviously I was seeing things I wasn’t!”

Upon second look, Kasey Kahne described the woman’s breastfeeding in detail.

“One boob put away one boob hanging!” Kasey Kahne tweeted, with the hashtag “#nasty “ following the post.

NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne has sparked a real rampage on Twitter over breastfeeding in public, after he said he was disgusted to see a mom’s breast as she was feeding her son in a supermarket

The NASCAR driver was apparently so repulsed that he then wrote: “I don’t feel like shopping or eating anymore.”

Later, a woman named Deana P. tweeted to him that she disagreed breastfeeding was “nasty” and that he was “kind of a douchebag”.

“I hope someday you have a kid and someone tells your wife that feeding your child looks nasty,” Deana P. wrote.

“Stay classy a**hole.”

Kasey Kahne, who currently stars in an Allstate ad campaign that centres around his appeal among women, responded by calling her a “dumb b***h”.

However, late last night, the racer apologized via his Facebook page, writing: “It was in no way my intention to offend any mother who chooses to breastfeed her child, or, for that matter, anyone who supports breast feeding children.

“My comments were not directed at the mother’s right to breastfeed. They were just a reaction to the location of that choice, and the fashion in which it was executed on that occasion.”

Kasey Kahne also apologized to Deana P., saying his remarks were “out of line”.

Deana P., whose Twitter page indicates she’s a mother of three from Minnesota, wrote an apology of her own, saying her comments to the racer were also “knee-jerk and out of line”.

Kasey Kahne’s NASCAR sponsor Great Clips also released a statement, which read: “Our apologies for this. Please know that response was uncalled for & does not reflect our organization.”

Kasey Kahne’s very public qualms came amid another breast-feeding controversy, which resulted in hundreds of mothers in 35 states staging a nurse-in at their nearby Target stores after a Texas mother was told last month that she could not breastfeed in public.

Michelle Hickman, a mother of four, was trying to do some Christmas shopping last month when Target employees asked her to relocate to a more private location, such as a family fitting room.

Humiliated by the incident, Michelle Hickman used Facebook to organize the massive “nurse-in”.

Kasey Kahne, who has 12 NASCAR wins to his credit, does a great deal of charity work through his “Kasey Kahne Foundation”, which benefits chronically ill kids and their families.

In 2007, however, Kasey Kahne found himself on the wrong side of the law.

In November of that year, he was charged was charged with assault for pushing an elderly security guard at the Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida.

The misdemeanor charges were later dropped after Kasey Kahne completed 50 hours of community service.

Kasey Kahne was also slapped with a civil suit by the security guard, who claimed he suffered a severe back injury as a result of the incident, but that suit was settled in 2009.

Noah Kravitz’s former employer, Phonedog, want him to hand back his Twitter following when he left the company.

The landmark case opens up legal questions over who “owns” followers on a corporate Twitter account – and whether followers are a commodity that can actually be owned.

Noah Kravitz, who tweets under his own name, had been employed by Phonedog as a blogger and had 17,000 followers.

Phonedog – a cell phone retailer – is now suing Noah Kravitz for taking his Twitter followers with him – alleging that each follower is worth $2.50 a month, as his follower list was equivalent to a list of customers, and is their property.

“The idea that all 17,000 people who follow Kravitz were doing do because of PhoneDog is disingenuous at best,” The Atlantic magazine reported, in a comment retweeted by Noah Kravitz yesterday.

Noah Kravitz’s account – which now has 22,000 followers, Tweets on subjects as diverse as Steely Dan, Android phones, liquorice and flu bugs.

Noah Kravitz told the New York Times that he had agreed to retain control of the Twitter account, providing that he, “tweet on their behalf from time to time”.

“I said sure, as we were parting on good terms,” said Noah Kravitz.

Eight months after Noah Kravitz left, Phonedog sought damages.

Phonedog said in a statement: “The costs and resources invested by Phonedog Media into growing its followers, fans and general brand awareness through social media are substantial and are considered property of Phonedog Media.”

The company vowed to “aggressively protect” its property.

Kourtney Kardashian, who announced her second pregnancy with boyfriend Scott Disick earlier this week, wasn’t going to take that particular slight lying down.

“Why would I have anything to do with Teen Mom? I’m 32 years old!” Kourtney Kardashian responded.

She added: “I may look young, honey, but don’t get it twisted.”

Scott Disick, 28, also jumped in to defend the situation, though his retaliation involved a bit of name-calling.

“We’re teenagers, y a f***ing moron,” Scott Disik wrote.

When Kourtney Kardashian’s younger sister Khloe asked Scott Disik if he had ever heard of Farrah Abraham, his response was more than a little bit blunt.

“I just thought she was some s**t stain on Twitter, no?” he said.

Khloe Kardashian, 27, didn’t respond, but sweetly noted that she had “never met a better mother than Kourtney”.

After realizing that she wouldn’t win in a battle against the Kardashian clan, Farrah Abraham decided to retract her former comments.

“4 all who misunderstood: regards to kourtney K.~ I hope she takes her relationship w/her boyfriend more serious 4 their children-takecare,” Farrah Abraham wrote late last night.

Aside from dealing with hostility from Farrah Abraham on Twitter, Kourtney Kardashian daughter has been enjoying her pregnancy.

Kourtney Kardashian glowed with happiness as she and Scott Disick stepped out for breakfast and some Christmas shopping at Neiman Marcus in Los Angeles yesterday.

Seeing as she is just nine weeks pregnant, there was little sign of a baby bump under her tuxedo style outfit, which consisted of a cream shirt, black bow tie and black trousers.

Sinead O’Connor decided to quit Twitter after she said she was “getting too much abuse”.

Sinead O’Connor, 44, follows the decision of Ashton Kutcher, who despite his 8.2 million followers, closed his account after tweeting his support for ousted US college football coach Joe Paterno, embroiled in a sex abuse scandal.

The singer blamed fans for taking her controversial sex stories “too seriously”, but credited the experience as “very interesting’.

Sinead O’Connor said: “I’ve stopped Twitter now because, although it was fun for a while, I had to stop because I was getting too much abuse.”

She also told V Magazine at the 2011 Inspiration Gala for amFAR that the social networking site was becoming an “addiction”.

The singer said: “Some people just take things so seriously, and things I was being funny about they would take terribly seriously.

“Plus, it’s a bit of an addiction; you got to stop it at some point and get on with living.”

Sinead O’Connor decided to quit Twitter after she said she was “getting too much abuse”

After splitting from third husband Steve Cooney in March, Sinead O’Connor tweeted about her search for a new love interest.

Sinead O’Connor said she was “desperate for s**”.

She wrote: “Must announce boyfriend search very much still on.

“If any1 wants a suicidal tourettes ridden fat ugly lunatic with a big fat flappy *****.”

Sinead O’Connor has since claimed that writing these articles was an interesting experience and: “I got the feeling that it was 50/50.

“Half the country was amused because it was funny, and they other half were very serious and just took it terrible seriously.

“So there was a fair bit of abuse and I thought, wait, it’s actually okay for me to be me, we can all be whoever we are.”

It also inspired her to write a new song for the record and change the title to How About I Be Me, And You Be You.

Sinead O’Connor also sparked fears in September after tweeting about her urge to commit suicide.

She later defended her outbursts, saying: “There is no shame in feeling suicidal. Nor in anyone knowing that wave passes over you sometimes.

“No one should be judged badly for however it is they choose to make their cry of help.”

The Star on Sunday recently claimed that David Hasselhoff isn’t the first famous face that Hayley Roberts has bagged and she enjoyed a fling with footballer Dwight Yorke and singer Enrique Iglesias too.

Hayley Roberts apparently enjoyed a four-month fling with Dwight Yorke that ended weeks before she met David Hasselhoff.

David Hasselhoff is said to have proposed to Hayley Roberts, who is a former Debenhams worker, three times so far, but last night her ring finger appeared bare.

Last month David Hasselhoff, who has two daughters from a previous marriage, hinted that he was ready to get married for a third time.

“I believe in marriage. Right now with Hayley things are getting better in every way.”

It seems that David Hasselhoff was planning a Christmas with Hayley Roberts and her family and is appearing in a panto in Bristol, close to Hayley’s hometown of Glynneath, near Merthyr Tydfil.

David Hasselhoff has also recently splashed out on a new home in Lisvane, an upmarket area in the Welsh capital of Cardiff.

David Hasselhoff has been dating Hayley Roberts for the past six months after she asked him for an autograph and he asked her for a date.

It seemed that despite the 28-year age gap, their relationship was blossoming with Hayley Roberts even leaving her job in Debenhams to accompany David Hasselhoff around the world.

David Hasselhoff told the story of their first meeting to The Sunday Mirror:

“I was walking into the St David’s Hotel in Cardiff when we were in Wales for BGT and she came up and asked for a photograph.

“I just saw this girl walk out the bar and I just pointed and went, <<her, wow>>.”

“Hayley’s opening line was, <<can I have a photo?>>. And mine was, <<only if I can have your number>>. I then said, <<you probably have a boyfriend>>. And when she said no, that was a done deal.”

David Hasselhoff, who divorced wife Pamela Bach in 2006, said: “I’ve been able to take my beautiful girlfriend out of a retail store where she’s making £5.90 an hour.

“Now she doesn’t have to worry. I say look, <<you’re a beautiful girl, follow what God gave you>> and I’m giving her the confidence and have somebody to share my life with.”

The incident has fuelled speculation as to the state of Steve Jobs’ health.

Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple was seen for the first time since his departure in August, his frame looking so incredibly frail it fuelled fears that he was nearing the end in his eight-year battle with the pancreatic cancer.

However, Steve Jobs made no direct reference to his health problems in his letter of resignation to the Apple board.

The former Apple boss wrote only that he had always said he would step down as CEO if he felt he could no longer do the job to his high standards.

Steve Jobs had surgery to remove a tumour after being diagnosed with a rare type of pancreatic cancer in 2003 and had a liver transplant in 2009 in a further attempt to prevent the spread of the disease.

Steve Jobs went on medical leave in January 2011, but still introduced the second generation iPad a couple of months later and has led the development of the iPhone 5 and iPad3.
