Dannielynn Birkhead played up the chance to throw on her best new dress as she and her father Larry attended the premiere for The Smurfs 2 in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Dannielynn Birkhead, 6, dolled herself up for the film in a grey chevron frock with blue and yellow accents, complete with a picture of her favorite smurfette on the centre.
And always eager to play a part in his daughter’s well being was father Larry Birkhead, who dressed to match in a grey, yellow and blue T-shirt and jeans.
Larry Birkhead was granted custody of the youngster after her mother Anna Nicole Smith passed away from a drug overdose in 2007.
Dannielynn Birkhead is reportedly set to inherit her mother’s fortune, which got a $49 million boost as part of oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall’s estate.

Anna Nicole Smith and J. Howard Marshall were married in 1994 when she was just 26, and he was 89.
J. Howard Marshall died a year later.
Meanwhile, Dannielynn Birkhead is growing up to be the spitting image of her mother, who was aged just 39 when she was found dead in a Florida hotel room.
Her father Larry Birkhead, who was forced to establish paternity in a suit against Anna Nicole Smith’s then partner and lawyer Howard K. Stern, seems to have done an excellent job raising his daughter by himself.
“I see her mom in everything she does,” Larry Birkhead told UsWeekly.
Dannielynn Birkhead recently appeared in an advertising campaign for Guess Kids.
Naomi Watts is looking the spitting image of Princess Diana on the new poster of the highly anticipated biopic Diana.
Naomi Watts, 44, shows off her blonde blow dried crop hair do on the promotional image, looking just like the late Princess Diana used to style hers.
The actress also wears regal blue in a glamorous dress and her ears and neck dripping with jewels.
Naomi Watts even wears a ring in the poster, which seems to mimic the ring Prince William gave to Kate Middleton when he proposed to her in memory of his late mother.
The font on the poster gives the tagline: “The legend is never the whole story: Diana.”
The movie still comes just a couple of weeks after a trailer for the film was released.

Diana Spencer died in 1997, but this year the People’s Princess has been brought back to life in a film biopic of her life.
In the film stills from the movie, Naomi Watts brings the beloved royal back to life, recreating famous images of the former Princess of Wales.
The film directed by Olivier Hirschbiegel, follows the final years of the British icon’s life before her tragic death in Paris, that forced the world into mourning.
But while the movie trailer shows Naomi on the red carpets, touring an Angolan minefield and fending off paparazzi on the street, the real story centres on her relationship with a British-Pakistani heart and lung surgeon.
Dr. Hasnat Khan had been described by some as “the love of [Diana’s] life” and the pair reportedly ended their romance just weeks before her death.
The BBC, reported that Hasnat Khan “believed the press intrusion would make his life hell” and their hidden 18-month relationship will certainly feature throughout the new biopic with Lost‘s Naveen Andrews taking on the role of the surgeon.
In preparation for the film, Naomi Watts spent six weeks with a dialogue coach and got access to Princess Diana’s actual wardrobe, and Vanity Fair report that she had “visits from the late People’s Princess during [her] dreams” and made use of a prosthetic nose.
Diana is due in U.K. theatres in September – it does not yet have a U.S. release date.

Dannielynn Birkhead was the spitting image of her mother Anna Nicole Smith as she and her father Larry Birkhead attended the 139th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs held in Louisville, Kentucky, on Saturday.
Anna Nicole Smith famously stole the show when she attended the Kentucky Derby in May 2004.
Since that moment and her tragic death in 2007, Larry Birkhead has often taken their daughter Dannielynn to the annual horse racing event.
Six-year-old Dannielynn Birkhead wore traditional Southern Belle attire, reminiscent of the costumes worn in the Mary Poppins movie.

She looked adorable in a white period-style dress with red trim, paired with matching parasol and shoes.
Meanwhile, her father Larry Birkhead channeled Dick Van Dyke in a multi-colored striped jacket and a matching straw brimmed hat.
Aside from his light blue bow tie, the rest of his outfit was all white, including his shoes.
Father and daughter held hands as they posed for pictures together on the red carpet, with Dannielynn gazing adoringly at her dad.
They have attended the event together in the past, and last year Dannielynn wore a pretty floral dress and flowers in her hair.
Dannielynn Birkhead is well on her way to getting as confident as her late mother Anna Nicole Smith in front of the camera. She recently appeared in an advertising campaign for Guess Kids.
“Dannielynn has always looked up to her mom’s image and I think that this is kind of Dannielynn’s way of paying tribute to her mom in her own special way,” Larry Birkhead told Good Morning America last November.
“To see her mom’s picture next to hers as a Guess girl and say, <<Hey, I was a Guess Kids girl, my mommy was a Guess girl>>, that might be her only connection with her mom.”
Anna Nicole Smith, the buxom reality TV star and former Playboy model who struggled with prescription drug problems, was found dead in a Florida hotel room in February 2007, aged 39.
The official cause of death was an accidental overdose of nine prescription drugs, including Valium and Atavan.
Anna Nicole Smith’s death followed the devastating loss of her 20-year-old son Daniel Smith just six months earlier, three days after his mother gave birth to Dannielynn.
Daniel Smith died after an accidental overdose of the drug methadone with the antidepressants Lexapro and Zoloft.
