Salwa Amin released from jail temporarily to enter rehab for opiate use
Buckwild star Salwa Amin was jailed in March without bail after getting busted for Oxycodone and heroin possession.
Now Salwa Amin is being released from prison temporarily to undergo treatment in a rehabilitation centre.
According to TMZ, Salwa Amin will temporarily leave Central Regional Jail in West Virginia jail to enter a impatient rehab to undergo treatment for opiate use.
On Monday the decision was made in a West Virginia courtroom.
Once Salwa Amin, 24, completes her rehab stint, she will head right back to jail until a hearing is set for her original drug possession charges.
Back in February, Salwa Amin was arraigned in Nicholas County Magistrate Court on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
State police said at the time that a multi-agency task force arrested Salwa Amin and two others at a home in Summersville after receiving a tip from an informant.
Officers said they found oxycodone pills and heroin.
Jail Administrative Sgt. Rick Drake said at the time that Salwa Amin didn’t want to talk to the media.
