Boston Police Kill Man Under Terrorism Surveillance
A man who was under anti-terror police surveillance has been shot dead in a car park in Boston.
Police say he attacked officers with a large knife after being approached by a Boston police officer and an FBI agent.
The shooting took place on June 2 outside a CVS pharmacy in the residential Roslindale neighborhood of Boston.
Officials have not yet released the man’s identity or the reason he was under surveillance.
Boston Police Commissioner William B Evans told the Boston Globe newspaper: “Our officers tried their best to get him to put down the knife.
“Unfortunately, they had to take a life.”
