Beyonce has scored nine nominations for the 2017 Grammy Awards, extending her lead as the most-nominated woman in Grammys history.
The singer is up for the main prize, album of the year, for her ambitious visual album, Lemonade, which tackles themes of race and female identity.
Beyonce’s single Formation is also up for song and record of the year.
In all three categories, Beyonce is up against Adele – who previously won the ceremony’s top three prizes in 2012.
Beyonce now has 62 Grammy nominations across her work as a solo artist and as part of Destiny’s Child, making her the fourth most-nominated artist ever.
The pop star has won 20 trophies altogether, although she has yet to clinch the album of the year prize, having been beaten to the title by Beck in 2015 – much to the disgust of Kanye West, who stormed the stage in protest.
Kanye West receives eight nominations this year for his album The Life Of Pablo – all in the rap categories.
Rihanna and Drake also have eight nominations, including three for their hit collaboration, Work.
Making Grammy history is Chicago-born musician Chance The Rapper, whose album Coloring Book is the first streaming-only record to be recognized by the Recording Academy.
Chance The Rapper achieves seven nominations, including best new artist, without ever releasing a physical album or digital download.
Beyonce and Adele go head to head with Justin Bieber, Drake and Sturgill Simpson in the best album category.
If Adele wins, she will become only the second woman to receive the best album prize twice, after Taylor Swift.
Notably absent from the shortlist is David Bowie, who was tipped to win for his critically-acclaimed Blackstar album.
The record does make an appearance in the best alternative album category, as does Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool.
Coldplay have also fared badly, receiving just one nomination – best music video – despite selling millions of copies of their latest album, A Head Full Of Dreams.
Prince receives a posthumous nomination for his final album, Hit N Run Phase Two, in the best engineered, non-classical category, where Blackstar also makes the shortlist.
British star James Corden will host
The 2017 Grammy Awards, which take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 12, will be hosted by James Corden.
Chris Brown has been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after beauty queen Baylee Curran told police he had threatened her with a gun.
Baylee Curran told the LA Times Chris Brown had pointed the gun at her face after she had been admiring his friend’s jewellery.
Chris Brown came out of his home after a stand-off with police on August 30.
The singer’s lawyer tweeted that his client was later freed, adding that the accusations were “demonstrably false”.
Associated Press reported that Chris Brown was released on $250,000 bail.
He has several convictions for violence, including a 2009 assault on his then girlfriend, pop star Rihanna.

Police went to Chris Brown’s home following the emergency call early on August 30 from Baylee Curran, who by that time had left the property.
She told the LA Times that she and a friend had gone to Chris Brown’s house with a business associate on August 29.
Baylee Curran said she had been admiring the diamond necklace of a man who had been showing off his jewellery when the man got angry and told her to back away.
That is when she says Chris Brown pulled out a gun, pointed it at her face and told her to get out.
“If somebody put a gun to your head, what would you do? Call the police,” Baylee Curran said on her Instagram account, AFP news agency reported.
Once at Chris Brown’s sprawling mansion, police officers were allegedly denied entry and had to wait for a judge to approve a search warrant before going inside to search for a weapon.
It wasn’t until Chris Brown’s lawyer arrived that the singer eventually emerged.
Police said about half a dozen people had been escorted out of the residence and would be interviewed.
During the stand-off, Chris Brown posted videos online accusing the police of harassment.
“When you get the warrant for whatever you need to do, you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots,” the singer said in one Instagram video, posted to 30 million followers.
In another video, Chris Brown also voiced support for the Black Lives Matter movement against police brutality, saying: “You’re all the worst gang in the world, the police.”
Chris Brown has been told he is unlikely to be given a visa to perform in Australia because of his record of domestic violence.
The 26-year-old singer is scheduled to go on tour in Australia in December, and tickets are due to go on sale on September 28.
Chris Brown now has 28 days to appeal.
In 2009, Chris Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna. He has toured Australia twice since, but the government is under pressure to refuse him this time.

Australia’s immigration department has issued a “notice of intention to consider refusal”, Immigration Minister Peter Dutton said.
Chris Brown has 28 days to present a case as to why he should be granted a visa, after which a final decision will be made.
Minister for Women Michaelia Cash, who was until recently assistant immigration minister, had urged Peter Dutton to take a stand on the issue.
“People need to understand, if you are going to commit domestic violence and you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you, <<You cannot come in because you are not of the character that we expect in Australia>>,” Senator Michaelia Cash said.
The decision about chris Brown’s visa follows the government’s decision earlier this year to refuse a visa for world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather on similar grounds.
New Zealand has already ruled that Chris Brown is unsuitable for entry into the country.
Rihanna and Leonardo DiCaprio have been linked since January, but it seems that they are no closer to being exclusive than when they first got together.
According to celebrity website TMZ, Rihanna is way more committed than Leonardo DiCaprio is. The actor likes her, but he is not willing to settle down with her into a full-blown relationship.
Recently though, Rihanna and Leonardo DiCaprio got cozy as they celebrated RiRi’s 27th birthday, an event Leo helped organize.
Rihanna and Leonardo DiCaprio, 40, reportedly engaged in some heavy PDA at the party, but they are just in the “more than friends” category right now.
Rihanna teamed up with Kanye West and Sir Paul McCartney for a new project called Four Five Seconds.
It’s been almost a year since Rihanna, 26, released her last single.
Paul McCartney is one of the most celebrated artists of the 20th century, selling more than 100 million albums as part of the Beatles, Wings and as a solo artist.
Kanye West has previously collaborated with both Rihanna and Paul McCartney, though never before as a trio.
Four Five Seconds is a move away from Rihanna and Kanye West’s previous work together on All of the Lights (from Kanye West’s album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy) and Run This Town, where the pair teamed up with Jay-Z.
This time the track is a slower, acoustic guitar-driven number.
Kanye West played a snippet of Four Five Seconds to industry experts at the iHeartMedia music summit on January 21.
It’s yet to be confirmed if the song will appear on an album by any of the artists.
Though producer Ty Dolla $ign did tell Billboard earlier this month that the song is likely be part of Kanye West’s upcoming release.
The project follows Kanye West’s own collaboration with Paul McCartney at the beginning of the year.
Paul McCartney, 72, has a long history of collaborations with other artists, singing duets with Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and George Michael.
Rihanna has won a legal battle against fashion chain Topshop over a T-shirt bearing her image.
The Court of Appeal in London upheld a ban on the store selling a sleeveless T-shirt featuring a photo of Rihanna without obtaining her permission.
In the first successful celebrity case of its kind, three appeal judges agreed marketing the item without Rihanna’s approval amounted to “passing off”.
“Passing off” refers to the unauthorized used of a personal image.
Rihanna sued Topshop’s parent company Arcadia for $5 million back in 2013 over the T-shirts, which featured a photo taken during a video shoot in 2011.
In his ruling in July 2013, the judge found some buyers would have been deceived into buying the top because of a “false belief” it had been approved by Rihanna.
He said it was damaging to her “goodwill” and represented a loss of control over Rihanna’s reputation in the “fashion sphere”.
Topshop lawyers had urged the appeal judges to rule that previous judge had misunderstood the law on celebrity merchandising.
They argued the court was dealing with a “decorated T-shirt” similar to merchandise featuring images of stars such as Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix and Prince.
They also suggested Rihanna was using the law wrongly to claim “only a celebrity may ever market his or her own character”.
Topshop lawyers had previously argued there was “no intention to create an appearance of an endorsement or promotion”.
All three judges unanimously dismissed the appeal.
However, Rihanna’s victory does not necessarily pave the way for other celebrities to sue companies who use their image without permission.
Chris Brown appeared in a Los Angeles court on August 13 for a progress report.
Judge James Brandlin reduced Chris Brown’s drug test requirement from three times to twice a week and said he’s been in compliance with his probation officer and cooperating with his therapist.

The probation department asked that Chris Brown’s community labor requirement be bumped from three days a week to four, but Judge James Brandlin denied the request.
The 25-year-old rapper was jailed from mid-March until early June for violating his probation by getting into an altercation outside a Washington, D.C., hotel last year.

Meceo McEaddy has been sentenced to between 5 and 10 years in prison for stealing millions of dollars from concert promoters and party planners by posing as a booking agent.
The 39-year-old New Yorker, who pretended to be in charge of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and several other celebrities, pleaded guilty to 21 counts of grand larceny and fraud, among other charges, according to Manhattan district attorney’s office.

The scam involved Meceo McEaddy and 48-year-old Sylvester Vincent Carroll, of New Jersey, promising event producers a performance by a major recording artist, pocketing large deposits and not delivering a show after being paid.
Sylvester Vincent Carroll, who also pleaded guilty, was sentenced this month to three to nine years in prison.
Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. said the two stole around $3.7 million from party planners around the world.
The scheme started in 2010 when the duo took $825,000 from a Brazilian company that believed it had booked Rihanna for concerts in Rio de Janeiro.
Rihanna and Gwyneth Paltrow’s estranged husband Chris Martin have been spotted having dinner together on Sunday, June 8.
Rihanna joined the Coldplay frontman at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, California.
Rihanna and Chris Martin previously worked together on the 2012 track Princess of China
According to X17online, Rihanna and Chris Martin arrived separately around 9 p.m. and enjoyed each other’s company for two hours sitting at a corner table at the Italian hotspot where the singer is a regular.
Chris Martin kept his look casual, donning a T-shirt and jeans.
Rihanna and Chris Martin are said to be just friends and previously worked together on the 2012 track Princess of China off Coldplay’s fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto. They performed the single together at the 2012 Grammys.
Rihanna and Drake turned up at New York’s VIP Room late Sunday night but avoided making contact.
“They really did not interact at all,” a source told E! News.

“She looked at him a few times and would smile, but they didn’t speak or even come near each other. Both stayed late, until around 4 a.m., but they did not leave together. Both went their separate ways.”
Drake, who had just performed at the Hot 97 Summer Jam concert, was spotted in the DJ booth as Rihanna sat at a nearby table.
Rihanna and Drake’s on-off romance hit the skids earlier this month after a purported argument.
“He is too in love with her, which has always been the problem,” an insider explained to Us Weekly.
“They have been fighting, but that could all change any day now. It is how it always is with them.”
Rihanna’s Rogue perfume poster will be restricted to areas where children are unlikely to see it, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has ruled.

Pharrell Williams was teary-eyed as he accepted the Innovator award at the inaugural iHeartRadio awards in Los Angeles.
Pharrell Williams, whose single Happy has become an international sensation, was lost for words for over a minute as Gwen Stefani presented him with the trophy.
“I never dreamt in a million, million, million years… that I would be standing here,” he eventually said.
Rihanna also took home four prizes, including artist and song of the year.

Rihanna, who got stuck in traffic en route to the show, also won an award for having the most loyal fans.
She dedicated the award to her followers, and thanked them for embracing her, flaws and all.
“It’s not easy, what we do. It’s very difficult at times,” she said.
“I never felt comfortable being anything other than myself.”
Performers at the show included Ed Sheeran, Arcade Fire, Bastille, 30 Seconds to Mars and Shakira.
Usher also took to the stage, leading a dance routine set to a never-before-heard Michael Jackson track, Love Never Felt So Good.
Owned by media company Clear Channel, iHeartRadio is one of the dominant internet radio brands in the US.
Thursday’s awards show was broadcast by over 150 iHeart radio stations across the US, and 60 million votes were cast by listeners in the run-up to the ceremony.
Pharrell Williams, 41, performed a 10-minute medley of his songs at the show, including Happy, Come Get It Bae and his bestselling-collaboration with Daft Punk, Get Lucky.
The artist, who began his career producing songs for the likes of Justin Timberlake, Jay Z and Kelis, said he had never expected to become an artist in his own right.
“All I did was write the songs and you guys did all the heavy lifting, all the hard work,” he told the audience at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Pharrell Williams’ emotional speech came shortly after a clip of him crying on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show became a viral hit.
During the interview, Oprah Winfrey showed Pharrell Williams a montage of fans from Africa, the Philippines, Iceland and many more, all singing Happy, his Oscar-nominated, gospel-tinged, feel-good anthem.
Rihanna and Drake have been spotted leaving a London club together, hand in hand, late Thursday.
Sources told Us Weekly that the pair has been inching closer to a relationship.
Rihanna has been romantically linked to Drake in the past
Wearing a white ruffled minidress, jester-style hat, thigh-high boots, and oversized black fur coat, Rihanna casually draped one hand over Drake’s as the two were photographed in their car leaving Tramps Nightclub.
Drake looked happy as he flashed photographers an inquisitive stare, while Rihanna gripped his hand.
Rihanna has been romantically linked to Drake in the past and even unwittingly sparked a brutal brawl between the rapper and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in an NYC club back in June 2012.
Their latest outing comes several days after Rihanna enjoyed Drake’s sold-out performance at the O2 Arena on March 25.
According to new reports, Rihanna and Drake may have rekindled their fizzled flame when they were spotted holding hands Tuesday night in Manchester, UK.
Rihanna, 26, and Drake, 27, were blurrily caught on camera exiting a local club, where he hosted an after-party following his arena concert that night. From there, it was off to a bowling alley they’d reserved for the evening, TMZ reported. The pair finally packed it in around 4 a.m.
In recent weeks, Rihanna and Drake have surfaced in Los Angeles, Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris, where she joined him onstage for a duet of Take Care
This is the latest outing for Rihanna and Drake, who have done their best to avoid being photographed together in public. In recent weeks, they have surfaced in Los Angeles, Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris, where she joined him onstage for a duet of Take Care. Meanwhile, on Monday night, Rihanna and Drake apparently got affectionate at London hotspot Cirque Le Soir.
Rihanna and Drake have been linked off and on since 2009, and their closeness is believed to have set off a bottle-hurling nightclub brawl in 2012 between the rapper and Chris Brown.
Chris Brown has been ordered by LA judge to return to rehab for three months to deal with anger management issues.
LA Superior Court Judge James Brandlin also said Chris Brown must do at least 24 hours of community service a week and be tested for drugs.
Chris Brown, 24, agreed to the terms, which were suggested by probation officers overseeing his sentence for beating Rihanna in 2009.
The singer left rehab earlier this month after throwing a rock through a window.
After a joint counseling session with his mother on November 10, where she suggested he needed to remain in treatment, Chris Brown threw the stone through the window of her car.
Chris Brown was kicked out of the rehab centre because he had signed a contract agreeing to refrain from violence while in treatment.
He had gone to the facility voluntarily on October 29 having been arrested in Washington DC days earlier. A man accused Chris Brown of punching him after he tried to get in a photo with the singer.
Chris Brown has been ordered by LA judge to return to rehab for three months to deal with anger management issues
The event could still be considered a probation violation and result in further punishment for the singer. Chris Brown is due to appear in court in Washington DC on Monday.
Judge James Brandlin ordered probation officers to get more information on the arrest in Washington for a hearing on December 16.
He also said Chris Brown’s focus should be on his treatment and community service, where he will have to do tasks like litter picking or cleaning graffiti.
In his probation report it says the singer has said he wants treatment for his anger management issues.
Chris Brown said he was depressed after being ordered to re-do 1,000 hours of community service earlier this year after a hit-and-run incident.
He has performed 20 hours so far, according to the report. An officer said Chris Brown wouldn’t complete his assignment if he was not required to perform at least 25 hours of work per week.
Chris Brown appeared in court on Wednesday with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran and only spoke once to acknowledge he agreed to the terms given by the judge.
His mother, who has been to many of her son’s court hearings, was not there.
Chris Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, said that the musician was also ordered to take any medications his doctor prescribed.
Chris Brown has been arrested early Sunday (October 27), in Washington D.C. after a fight broke out near the W Hotel, police said.
Chris Brown, 24, was charged with felony assault in an incident that started just before 4:30 a.m., Washington D.C. police spokesman Paul Metcalf said Sunday morning.
Chris Hollosy, 35, also was arrested on felony assault charges, Paul Metcalf said. Police believe the two men were together during the incident but said they couldn’t confirm any relationship between the suspects.
“There was a physical altercation, which resulted in the victim sustaining injuries,” Paul Metcalf said. Chris Brown and Chris Hollosy were being held in police custody until Monday, Paul Metcalf said.
A man was injured in the fight and reportedly taken to a hospital, police said, but they did not identify him or give details on his injuries. It was not clear whether the victim was taken by ambulance or another vehicle. He had been released from the hospital as of early Sunday afternoon, Paul Metcalf said.
The felony charges in the case were based, in part, on the extent of the victim’s injuries, police said.

Chris Brown’s publicists and attorney, Mark Geragos, did not immediately respond to messages left early Sunday.
Thr rapper was in Washington D.C. to perform Saturday night at an event billed as a “Homecoming Weekend” party at a downtown club. Chris Brown tweeted about the party Saturday. Howard University spokeswoman Kerry-Ann Hamilton said Sunday that the party was not sponsored by or affiliated with the school, which is celebrating its homecoming.
Chris Brown remains on probation for the 2009 beating of his on-off girlfriend Rihanna just before the Grammy Awards. He received five years’ probation and had remained out of trouble until earlier this year, when prosecutors accused the singer of failing to perform his community labor sentence as instructed. His probation was revoked briefly earlier this year after a hit-and-run incident, and he was given 1,000 more hours of community service to perform.
The rapper, who lives in Los Angeles and is originally from Virginia, has been involved in a number of incidents since the 2009 arrest. Chris Brown was initially sued for a nightclub brawl that allegedly erupted between his entourage and that of musician Drake, at the time believed to be a paramour of Rihanna.
Chris Brown also tussled with singer Frank Ocean and others after Ocean parked in Brown’s space at a recording studio in Los Angeles. Frank Ocean said he suffered an injured finger, but no charges were filed. A second man, Sha’keir Duarte, sued Chris Brown, claiming a concussion.
The singer’s arrest could prompt Los Angeles prosecutors to seek a revocation of his probation for the Rihanna beating and ask a judge to impose additional penalties on the singer, including time in jail or prison. Chris Brown is due back in court November 20 in Los Angeles to update a judge on his probation.
Steve Cron, a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney, said prosecutors and a judge may wait to see how the Washington case plays out before taking any action against Chris Brown.
“Just the fact that some guy says <<he hit me>> doesn’t mean he’s in violation” of his probation, Steve Cron said.
Overseers of Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque asked Rihanna to leave the compound after she posed for photographs considered to be at odds with the “sanctity” of the site.
The mosque staff later explained that Rihanna had been in an area that was typically off-limits to visitors and that her fashion-style shoot didn’t support the “status and sanctity of the mosque.”
Overseers of Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque asked Rihanna to leave the compound after she posed for photographs considered to be at odds with the “sanctity” of the site
Images of the photo shoot, which Rihanna posted to her Instagram account, depict her in a black outfit with her hair covered striking poses and lying down around the grounds of the mosque. Rihanna, who performed in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, has yet to respond publicly to the overseers’ statements.
Chris Brown spoke out about “the Rihanna incident” in a new interview with The Guardian.
The 24-year-old rapper told the newspaper: “[It was] probably the biggest wake-up call for me.
“I had to stop acting like a little teenager, a crazy, wild young guy.”
Chris Brown said despite his arrest for domestic violence he is not a violent man.
“You can talk with all my girls that I did mess with before, and it’s never been a violent history.”
Chris Brown has had a history of public incidents since the Rihanna incident in 2009 – including an on-air tantrum and violent brawls with other rappers Drake and Frank Ocean.
The singer said he has learnt from that tragic night in 2009 and its aftermath.
“I learned from it, and it was almost like… I wouldn’t say it happened for a reason, but it was something to trigger my mind to be more of a mature adult. To handle myself in situations, don’t throw tantrums, don’t be a baby about it.”
Chris Brown was not as accepting about having to continue to pay for the “incident”.
Last month, Chris Brown was given more community service hours after it was ruled he had failed to complete many he had claimed to had done.
Chris Brown also said he had no doubt he was being target because he is black, citing the difference between his treatment and the treatment of white celebrities who have also found themselves before the court.
“People think I just walk around as the aggressor, this mad black guy, this angry, young, troubled kid, but I’m not. I’m more and more laid-back. It’s just that people know if they push a button, it’ll make more news than their music. Attaching themselves to me, good or bad, will benefit them.”
Rihanna has been enjoying a stay in Thailand as a break from her Diamonds World Tour.
Wearing swimming suit, Rihanna, 25, is seen in a variety of poses and scenarios where she is clearly at home in the Asian country.
In one she can be seen posing on a boat with an impressive skyline behind her. In another, she is seen looking backwards, over her shoulder, as a breeze makes her hair momentarily defy gravity.
Rihanna can then be seen receiving a hand-made flower bracelet from a local vendor, who then kisses her.

In typical Rihanna style, she also uploaded a more suggestive picture of her wearing a leather-effect wetsuit.
The chart-topping singer is obviously happy to share her experiences. She has been uploading a number of photographs of her travels in recent days.
Yesterday Rihanna published a number of fun pictures from a night out in Phuket, where she was greeted by several species of native animals – including tame elephants.
She also posted a funny shot with her alongside a scantily-clad woman and a leotard-wearing man – both of whom appear to be yelling at the singer.
“She was either tryna get married to me, or asking for the rest of my crop over costume! #Thailand #$treetLife,” Rihanna explained of the scene.
Rihanna flew into Thailand from Manila on Thursday, following her first gig in the Philippines for five years.
Her tour has so far played in more than 60 countries, with another 19 stops to go before it wraps on November 15.
Rihanna’s next gig is scheduled for Singapore this Sunday.
Drake was in a candid, if slightly embarrassed, mood on Friday’s episode ofThe Ellen DeGeneres Show as the comedienne asked him a series of questions about his love life.
Ellen DeGeneres, 55, appeared to surprise Drake, 26, as she explained to him her method of questioning: “I’m going to show you some pictures and you can say, dated her, dating her now, I’ve kissed her once… you just held her hand.”
The host then pulled onto the screen an image of Rihanna: “The first one is..That’s Rihanna.”
Drake was clearly taken by surprise as he blurted out: “Oh, it’s my turn now to talk…Yeah great girl. We had our moment. [I will] always support and have love for her and yeah.”
Ellen DeGeneres resumed the interrogation pulling up a picture of high velocity rapper Nicki Minaj.
Drake responded, a little more at ease: “Me and Nicki are like family. I just love Nicki with all my heart. We’ve haven’t really shared like intimate moments.”
Ellen DeGeneres quickly moved on: “Not an intimate moment. Okay, here is the next one: Tyra Banks.”
Drake curtly responded: “I went on a date.”
Drake was in a candid mood on Ellen DeGeneres Show as the comedienne asked him a series of questions about his love life
Ellen’s interest clearly piqued dug further: “Did you date her?”
Drake reticently explained: “I went on a date with her one time, yeah.
“Just one date. We went to Disney Land in disguise actually, which was fun. I don’t know if it was a date. It was a get together. We’re close as well.”
The rapper then added with obvious chagrin: “This is really bad. How did you not tell me about this!”
Ellen DeGeneres moved the conversation forward: “Kim Kardashian, did you ever date her?”
At this point Drake could not disguise his true feelings as he exclaimed: “Oh no, no. Come on! What’s going on here?”
Drake’s visceral and animated response to the question got the studio audience roaring with laughter as he clearly did not welcome the idea of dating the reality star.
But Ellen had one more girl from the past to interrogate him on: “All right, let’s do one more. Kat Dennings. Did you date Kat.”
Drake, having cooled after Kim Kardashian scare, replied: “I just always had a huge crush on Kat Dennings and she was kind enough one night to oblige me and we went out for dinner. They don’t call me back after one date according to this.”
When asked if he were dating anyone at the moment, Drake said: “I’m not. I’m single. I’m ready to mingle. The album’s done. I got free time. But not really, I’m going on tour, but I have a couple months after that.”
Meanwhile, Drake recently split a $20,000 donation to Anna Angel, a 30-year-old Ohio woman who lost her five children and boyfriend in a tragic mobile home fire, for her funeral expenses.
Drake’s latest album Nothing Was the Same is set to be released on September 24.
Rihanna posted a make-up free selfie on Instagram.

Rihanna’s appearance in the new shot is in stark contrast to her recent visit to the UK – ostensibly to unveil her latest River Island collection at the high-street chain’s London flagship store.
Rihanna posted make-up free selfie on Instagram two days after opening a new cosmetics store in Hong Kong
After launching the distinctive new line Rihanna partied late into the night with close pal Cara Delevingne – but with her mammoth Diamonds world tour set to resume in South East Asia the star had no time to watch her friend parade down the runway at London Fashion Week.
Indeed, Rihanna kicked off the latest leg of her tour in Macau on September 13 before moving on to Manila – where she is scheduled to perform at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday.
Rihanna, 25, has also been busy launching a new M.A.C cosmetics store in Hong Kong.
Rihanna’s Diamonds tour will take in further shows across Australia and the United Arab Emirates before returning to the US in November.
Chris Brown has been sentenced to 1,000 more hours of community service on Friday after the Los Angeles County district attorney discovered discrepancies in the singer’s previous community service reports.
Chris Brown, 24, supposedly completed his prior 180-day community service sentence – the result of his assault case against Rihanna – but it appears that he won’t get credit for those hours.
That’s because the D.A. believes Chris Brown violated his probation by submitting fraudulent reports about how much work he actually did.
Chris Brown has been sentenced to 1,000 more hours of community service
In one example from the D.A., Chris Brown allegedly was headed off to Cancun despite officially stating that he was picking up trash in Virginia.
The silver lining for the singer is that the prosecutor did agree to reinstate Chris Brown’s probation, which was revoked last month as a result of an alleged hit-and-run incident in May, which was recently dismissed.
Chris Brown will now have several choices in terms of community service – he can work for Caltrans on highway cleanup, beach cleanup, probation alternative work services (PAWS) or graffiti removal, according to TMZ.
And though the singer was originally allowed to complete the service hours in his home state of Virginia, he doesn’t have that luxury this time, as the judge ordered he be supervised by L.A. County officials.
Chris Brown now must report to a probation officer within 48 hours, according to TMZ.
Chris Brown collapsed at Record Plant recording studios in Hollywood on Friday and the seizure has been blamed on his intense fatigue and anxiety related to his recent hit and run legal troubles.
A spokesperson for Chris Brown, 24, toldUsWeekly: “While in the studio working early this morning, Chris suffered a nonepileptic seizure (NES). He was not hospitalized.”
“His doctor tended to him this afternoon and attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity.”
Chris Brown was previously reported to have refused medical treatment at the scene following the seizure and was fully responsive.
Chris Brown collapsed at Record Plant recording studios in Hollywood
The incident came shortly after Chris Brown, who spent 45 minutes in jail on Monday after his probation, stemming from his assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, was revoked due to an alleged hit and run accident in Los Angeles in May, claimed he was “tired of being famous”.
The LA Fire Department had been called to the scene early in the morning on Friday after receiving a 911 call, according to TMZ.
But when paramedics arrived at Record Plant recording studios, Chris Brown is said to have refused treatment and declined to be taken to the hospital.
The call was allegedly made at 1:09 a.m. from the Hollywood studio.
It is not yet confirmed whether Chris Brown did indeed have a seizure, but according to TMZ the singer did suffer seizures as a child.
Earlier in the day, Chris Brown was seen spraypainting a wall outside a tattoo parlor.
