Cher was very angry and launched a foul-mouthed rant on Twitter on Tuesday night after a song Lady Gaga wrote for her new album was leaked online.
Cher, 67, was left incensed when new track The Greatest Thing, which Lady Gaga wrote and RedOne produced for the veteran singer’s new album, found its way online.
After discovering the leak, Cher wrote on Twitter: “Just heard TGT ! F**K ! IT’S NOT EVEN THE RIGHT F***ING VERSION!!!
“WHY DO PPL THINK THIS KINDA LEAKING S**T IS OK ! I’m so Fg DISSAPOINTED.”
Cher later added: “Disappointed ( Ive Sat on fkng song 4 over a yr )NOW SOME A**HOLE LEAKS WRONG VERSION ! GaGa’s SINGLE IS GREAT, & THAT’S ALL THAT MATTERS.”

While Lady Gaga was also undoubtedly unimpressed by the early leak, she did take to Twitter later in the day to thank Cher for having her back.
In a message re-tweeted by Cher, Lady Gaga wrote: “I love you @cher ! Thank you for the support, you’re the greatest thing!”
Speaking recently about her upcoming album, Cher compared it to one of her biggest hit records – 1998’s Believe.
She said: “It’s about being fabulous. Truthfully, I’m not a huge Cher fan and I’ve said this many times, but I think this is the best album I’ve ever done.
“The songs are so brilliant. I got so lucky. The closest thing to this album I think is the Believe album.”
Meanwhile, it’s been a less than successful week for Lady Gaga when it comes to her tracks being leaked.
On Monday she was forced to release her new single Applause a whole week before its intended premiere after it was leaked online.
Declaring a “POP MUSIC EMERGENCY”, Lady Gaga decided to beat the leakers and release the track to fans early.
And Cher was on hand to offer Lady Gaga some much-needed support as she struggled to contain her frustration over the leak.
Cher said: “She Doesn’t Like It! Shes an ARTIST… Its Her Song, Her Voice, Her Choice.”

The unidentified woman swore repeatedly repeating “If your country is so good, f*** off back there” at a man sitting next to her on the train.
Another passenger filmed the three-minute rant and posted it on YouTube which prompted British Transport Police to launch an investigation into the shocking alleged incident.
While it is unclear what provoked the attack or what the victim says during the video, the woman repeatedly swears, makes rude gestures and stands threateningly over the man
The woman screamed: “You come in this country you f***ing mother f***ers c***. You want everything on a plate f***ing c*** and expect us to take this.

On April 22, the police released an image of the woman. They said the date and time of the alleged attack is unclear. The video was posted on April 11.
Detective Constable Lawrence Murphy said: “We have isolated images of a woman we believe may be able to help us with our investigation into the incident.
“We believe the footage was filmed on an eastbound District line train, which passed through Stepney Green Tube station and Mile End station.
“At this stage, we urge anyone who witnessed this incident, or who recognizes the woman, to get in touch and help us build up a full picture of exactly what took place.
“We treat all allegations of racism very seriously and urge anyone with information about this incident to contact us.”

In 2012, Jacqueline Williams, 47, was charged with a racially aggravated public order offence after she was filmed hurling racist abuse at train passengers. After the video, which shows a woman taunting a group of black passengers, was posted on YouTube she was arrested.

Justin Bieber has lashed out at a photographer in a foul-mouthed rant just hours after leaving hospital.
The altercation kicked off as Justin Bieber, 19, and his entourage moved a group of photographers out of the way as they left his central London hotel on Friday afternoon.
As he got into his waiting vehicle, the snappers protested that they had been “assaulted”, and labeled the teen idol a “little moron”.
After one of the group shouted that Justin Bieber should “f**k off back to America”, the Canadian singer lost his temper once and for all and launched into a foul-mouthed rant at the photographers.
Pushing his way out of the vehicle and shoving past members of his entourage, Justin Bieber fumed: “What the f**k you say? What d’you say? I’ll f**king beat the f**k out of you, man!”
With his face grimaced up in anger, Justin Bieber had to be held back by a member of his security team as he attempted to grab the camera from the photographer.

Pink impersonator Zoe Alexander took the rejection a little too personally, resulting in what turned out to be the most shocking audition ever to take place on The X Factor.
While the scenes were filmed earlier this year, Zoe Alexander’s audition was seen for the first time on last night’s premiere episode of the new series of UK’s X Factor – showing the full extent of the foul-mouthed rant which saw Welsh singer Zoe arrested.
Things started well for Zoe Alexander, who looked confident and poised as she made her way onto the stage to perform in front of the judges, Tulisa Contostavlos, Nicole Scherzinger, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh.
With her blonde hair shaved on one side, and wearing a pair of stomach-baring PVC leggings with a tied shirt and bra top, there was no question of which singer Zoe Alexander was attempting to impersonate.
However, despite assuring the judges that she wanted to use The X Factor as a way to establish her own identity, Zoe Alexander then proceeded to sing a Pink song, belting out her hit track So What to the visible disappointment of the judges and the audience.
Sensing the performance wasn’t going too well, Gary Barlow stopped the audition, telling Zoe Alexander she should try again with a different song.

Zoe Alexander then attempted to perform Emeli Sande’s Next To Me, but once again failed to impress.
As she awaited comments from the judges, Zoe Alexander was told by Tulisa Contostavlos that she shouldn’t have opted to sing a Pink song in the first place if she was trying to step away from her alter-ego.
She told Zoe Alexander: “Okay see the problem is, you came out saying that you wanted to find your own identity, it’s very confusing for me because I did feel like I was watching a Pink tribute act.”
However, Zoe Alexander then alleged that she had been told to sing a Pink track by the four judges – a claim Tulisa Contostavlos strenuously denied.
After receiving four “No” from the judges, Zoe Alexander then decided to exert her frustration by storming off the stage – throwing her microphone in a fit of anger in the process.
She was also seen taking out her anger on a waiting cameraman – grabbing the camera and knocking it to the floor.
But as she made her way off the stage, Zoe Alexander was met by her father – who works as a Tom Jones impersonator – who then dragged her back in front of the judges in a bid to plead her case.
Following a failed attempt to reason with the panel, Zoe Alexander ended up screaming profanities at the judges, much to the shock of the four judges.
She was then seen running off the stage, screaming and swearing while doing so, before she was met by her family, who attempted to comfort the visibly agitated singer.
After the audition, Zoe Alexander was arrested and cautioned for hitting a producer.
However, since then, Zoe Alexander has maintained that she was “stitched up” to make a better scene for X Factor viewers.
Zoe Alexander told the Sunday Mirror today: “They set out to make a total and utter fool of me. Even though this audition was in June, I’m still struggling to come to terms with what happened.
“I used to be so confident and I trusted people. Now I just don’t trust anyone. I can hardly sleep – I’m basically a nervous wreck.”
However, a show official told the paper that Zoe Alexander wasn’t made to sing the Pink song, adding: “Contestants are not told what to sing, they make their own decisions.”
