Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez boarded a flight for Paris on Tuesday with Halle’s five-year-old daughter, Nahla, joining them.
Now it appears to be the case that the family were headed to the Renaissance chateau in the Burgundy countryside, around an hour’s drive south of Paris.
Despite Halle Berry previously telling InStyle magazine of her wedding: “I do know it will be very small,” it seems that may have been a white lie, judging by the fanfare surrounding the French estate where the wedding was held.
PeopleMagazine has reported that among the 60 guests – thought to be close friends – were the groom’s mother Rosemarie and brother Vincent.
Dinner is said to have been served for the guests at an arbor and there was also a fireworks display.

It seems to be a change of heart for Halle Berry, who once declared six years ago: “I will never, never get married again.”

Despite the cold temperatures, the Oscar-winning actress left her long grey coat unbuttoned around her waist, exposing her growing midsection.
Underneath Halle Berry wore loose fitting trousers and a clingy cotton top that did nothing to quell the excitement after confirming on Friday that she is expecting her first child with her fiancé Olivier Martinez.

Meanwhile, Halle Berry is set to reprise her role as Storm in the next installment of the X-Men series.
As the mutant Ororo Munroe in her last two X-Men films, Halle Berry famously wore a skin-tight leather suit that showcased her slim physique.
No word yet if the film, which is currently in pre-production and set to be released in 2014, will work around her pregnancy.

Halle Berry when she was pregnant with Nahla in 2008
The actress did nothing to prevent speculation though when she was on holiday in Hawaii last week, resorting to cover-ups whenever she stepped out on the sand with her family.
Last fall Halle Berry opened up to Wendy Williams about adding to her family, saying that Nahla had expressed wishes of being a big sister.
“My daughter is asking me,” she said.
“Every night we pray to God, and she’s so sweet. She says, <<God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister>>. And I say, <<I can do one of those things, I know for sure! The other one we have to keep praying on>>. What do you say to her when she wants that and can’t understand why God’s taking so long, you know?”
The admission was ominous for Halle Berry, who also said that she has learned a lot since giving birth to her daughter five years ago.
“I’m a much better mother at 46, or 41 when I had her, than if I were 21 or 25. I was just a little baby, just trying to figure it out, trying to figure out who I was, let alone have the responsibility of trying to help another little soul develop and grow,” Halle Berry admitted.
Images of Gabriel Aubry’s injuries following his brawl with Halle Berry’s new boyfriend, Olivier Martinez, have been released.
Gabriel Aubry, 36, can be seen displaying an extremely painful-looking and swollen black eye, along with cuts under his left eye and on his forehead and the bridge of his nose.
The model, who also has bloodied fingernails as a result of the fight, and has claimed Olivier Martinez threatened to kill him.
It doesn’t look like anything is set to simmer down between the pair, as Halle Berry’s ex-boyfriend has now obtained a restraining order against her fiancé following the Thanksgiving incident.
Gabriel Aubry was hospitalized with broken ribs and a bruised and swollen face following the fight, before he was charged with battery.
The model obtained the emergency protective order at a Los Angeles county court on Monday, according to TMZ. Documents reveal the order is valid until December 17.
Gabriel Aubry claimed in his declaration that the day before Thanksgiving, the family went to watch Nahla’s school play, and Olivier Martinez whispered in his ear in French: “I wish I could beat the s*** out of you right now.
“You’re lucky we’re in a school right now. We’re going to take Nahla right now and you’re not going to follow us.”
The next day Gabriel Aubry allegedly dropped Nahla off at Halle Berry’s and her door was opened by Olivier Martinez – even though a nanny usually acts as a go-between.
Gabriel Aubry claims Olivier Martinez said: “We need to talk,” and as he walked to his car, Martinez allegedly knocked him to the ground, took his head in his hand and slammed it on the concrete driveway, while accusing Aubry of “costing us $3 million” due to the custody battle.
The model goes on to claim that Olivier Martinez allegedly said: “We called the cops. You’re going to tell them that you’re the one who attacked me, or I’m going to kill you.”
He is hoping to prove his innocence with the help of CCTV footage, and said: “I told the officers that [Olivier Martinez] was the one who attacked me, and repeatedly told them to get the security tapes from Ms. Berry’s security cameras before she and Mr. Martinez deleted them.”
Gabriel Aubry has already been slapped with a restraining order of his own, meaning he has to stay 100 yards away from Olivier Martinez, Halle Berry, and his daughter with Berry, Nahla.

Meanwhile Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez were seen arriving home together after visiting their lawyers, and were also paid a visit by detectives. Earlier on Olivier Martinez had visited a hospital, displaying grazes on his knuckles.
It has been reported that Halle Berry’s lawyers will go to court this week in an attempt to have it extended.
In addition, it has been claimed that Gabriel Aubry could be deported back to his native Canada as a result of the fight.
A source toldRadar Online: “Not only is Gabe dealing with the possibility of losing shared custody of his daughter, Nahla, and possible criminal charges, but the real possibility of being deported back to Canada because of the arrest.
“Gabe is in the United States on a work visa and anytime someone is arrested on child abuse, domestic violence, assault or battery charges the Immigration and Naturalization Services is contacted by law enforcement.”
The source explained: “During the time Gabe was being held at the police station he was asked if he was a United States citizen, and he said no. This is what triggered INS being contacted. It’s not a given that Gabe will be automatically deported, but it’s a very real possibility. He doesn’t need to be convicted in order to be deported, the arrest is enough to terminate his visa.”
The altercation came after a judge ruled that the star is not allowed to move 4-year-old Nahla to France, where she was hoping to uproot to in order to live with French actor Olivier Martinez.
And now Radar Online claims that the Los Angeles County Department of Child Protection services will be formally re-opening an abuse investigation involving Nahla.
A source told the website: “Detectives from the LAPD formally contacted CPS after Gabe’s arrest, because Nahla was present when the fight occurred.
“Nahla wasn’t actually involved in the melee, and by all accounts, Halle whisked her out of the driveway as soon as the fight between Olivier and Gabe started. However, DCFS was contacted because there has been a history of allegations of physical abuse.
“Social workers will be interviewing Halle, Gabriel and Olivier about what happened on Thanksgiving. DCFS must ensure that Nahla’s environment is safe.”
The day before the drama appeared to be getting to Halle Berry as she looked downcast as she emerged from her Los Angeles home.

Halle Berry received a police escort on Friday as she took daughter Nahla to the theatre in Downtown Los Angeles.
Halle Berry, 46, and her 4-year-old were driven to the Nokia Theatre in a black SUV, surrounded by four police on motorcycles following Thursday’s incident between Halle’s boyfriend Olivier Martinez and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
She looked calm as she escorted Nahla into the theatre and then carried her out accompanied by a bodyguard.
Looking low key in jeans, a black top and sandals, Halle Berry held Nahla’s hand as they made their way inside to watch a concert by children’s entertainers Yo Gabba Gabba.
Nahla looked pretty in a pink polka dot dress and purple flip flops and listened to music on bright pink headphones, while her mother held her cuddly toy.
There was no sign of Halle Berry’s French beau Olivier Martinez who had earlier been seen in a liquor store brandishing a swollen hand from Thursday’s altercation.
Olivier Martinez, 46, opted for a half-hearted disguise by wearing a cap, but was nevertheless prepared to face the photographers on his “victory walk” – after apparently coming off better than Gabriel Aubry in yesterday’s fight.
Still, Olivier Martinez’s hand appeared to have swelled some more overnight – and looked bloated and painful as he stopped by Gil Turner’s Fine Wine & Spirits in Los Angeles on Friday.
Gabriel Aubry, 37, meanwhile, was pictured being whisked out of LAPD’s Downtown jail in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
He had a contingency plan in place for the photographers, though, cowering from the flashbulbs under a blanket in the back seat of an SUV as he was driven away.
Bail Bondsman David Perez of David Perez Bail Bonds paid Gabriel Aubry’s $20,000 bail – before picking him up at around 6 p.m.

His booking sheets lists him as 6ft2 and weighing 180lbs.
The pictures emerged as fresh details of the horrific fight between Gabriel Aubry and Olivier Martinez, which was reportedly captured on security cameras, continued to unravel.
Nahla was apparently saved from witnessing the full brutality of the fight – after Halle rushed her inside the house as the two men started to face off, TMZ reports.
However, it is unclear if she did witness some of the fight.
It was initially reported the brawl happened inside Halle Berry’s house – but it is now claimed the altercation played out in the large driveway, according to the website.
After Olivier Martinez said to Gabriel Aubry: “We have to move on,” the Canadian model is said to have retaliated and pushed the French actor and tried to punch him before a full blown fight broke out.
Gabriel Aubry and Halle Berry – who split in 2010 – have been at odds ever since she tried to convince a judge to allow her to move to France with Nahla, a move which was recently blocked by the courts.
On Thursday a judge issued an emergency protective order in the wake of the melee – meaning Gabriel Aubry must stay 100 yards away from Halle, Olivier and Nahla.
Onlookers told TMZ the fight was “brutal”, with the website describing a blow-by-blow account of the melee.
A source said: “Olivier blocked [Gabriel Aubry’s punch] and the punch struck him in the shoulder instead.
“Gabriel then pushed Olivier to the ground, a struggle ensued, ending when Olivier pinned Gabriel to the ground.”
Olivier Martinez performed a citizen’s arrest on his love rival, before police were called to the scene and arrested Gabriel Aubry for battery.

Meanwhile, Halle Berry was joined by a slew of other celebrity parents and their children at Friday’s show.

Olivier Martinez reportedly tried to speak to Gabriel Aubry about the ongoing custody dispute between him and Halle Berry.

Police were called to the home and arrested Gabriel Aubry for battery. He was charged on his release from hospital and released after meeting the $20,000 bail.
Andrew Smith, Commanding Officer, LAPD Media Relations and Community Affairs Group told People: “He [Aubry] was booked for a private persons arrest for battery.”
A judge then issued an emergency protective order – meaning Gabriel Aubry has to stay 100 yards away from Halle Berry, Olivier Martinez and Nahla.
Gabriel Aubry was taken to hospital for his injuries after suffering a broken rib, bruises to the face and a possible more serious head injury.

The youngster was later seen being carried in her mother’s arms as the anxious looking actress arrived home with Olivier Martinez following his discharge from hospital.
After a brief stop at home, the pair headed to a friend’s house nearby.
Gabriel Aubry, a French-Canadian model who lives and works in Los Angeles, had petitioned the court to stop Halle Berry’s plans to move to France.
He argued it would give him limited access to his daughter, while Halle Berry countered the privacy laws are stronger in France and would keep Nahla safe from the paparazzi.
Halle Berry, 46 – who split with Gabriel in 2010 – and Olivier Martinez, had put their wedding plans on hold while the actress focused on her custody battle.
A source has confirmed to Us Weekly magazine that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are engaged.
Olivier Martinez, 46, reportedly proposed with an emerald-and-diamond ring from Gurhan which Halle Berry, 45, has been seen sporting recently.
Halle Berry was first pictured with a ring on her wedding finger as early as December 29, leading to speculation that Olivier Martinez planned a Christmas proposal.
The actress has been careful to keep the ring turned around to just look like a plain band in recent weeks, but gave photographers a glimpse of the stunning stone during an outing in LA yesterday.
A source has confirmed to Us Weekly magazine that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are engaged
Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez first met while working opposite one another on the film Dark Tide; they soon emerged as a hot new couple in the autumn of 2010.
A source told Us Weekly: “[Halle] had given up on being married, but she trusts Olivier. He makes her feel safe. He’s a keeper.”
Olivier Martinez previously dated Australian pop star Kylie Minogue, 43, for several years – and supported her through her battle with breast cancer – before they split in 2007.
For Halle Berry, who has a 3-year-old daughter, Nahla, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, this will be the third marriage.
The actress dated handsome model Gabriel Aubry, 36, for almost five years before their acrimonious split in April 2010.
Halle Berry’s love life has been fraught with hard times. An ex-boyfriend beat her so badly that she was left partially deaf, her first marriage falling apart caused her to attempt suicide and her second marriage ended because her husband was allegedly a sex addict.
Halle Berry wed former baseball player David Justice in 1993, divorcing four years later.
She has spoken publicly about contemplating suicide after the end of her first marriage.
“It was all about a relationship,” Halle Berry told Parade magazine in 2007.
“My sense of worth was so low. I had to reprogram myself to see the good in me. Because someone didn’t love me didn’t mean I was unlovable. I promised myself I would never be a coward again.”
Halle Berry then married R&B singer Eric Benét in 2001, only to separate in 2003 and finalize their divorce in 2005.
The actress has previously revealed that the couple was in counseling to combat Eric Benét’s sex addiction after just a year.
Of her second marriage, Halle Berry said: “I knew this time I had a right to set boundaries and say, <<This isn’t OK for me>>. I knew that it wasn’t my fault. If I hadn’t gone through the first breakup and made that promise to myself this would have leveled me.”
“I stink at marriage,” Halle Berry joked to Parade in the 2007 interview.
