Bobby Brown has checked out of rehab early after admission for alcohol treatment.
Bobby Brown, 43, has left an undisclosed facility, where he was thought to be receiving treatment for alcohol addiction problems.
It comes less than three weeks after he agreed to be admitted as part of a deal struck following his arrest for driving under the influence (DUI) in March.

A source close to the family told RadarOnline: “Bobby is no longer in rehab, he decided he’s had enough treatment for his problems.
“When he first checked in, he promised his family and friends, including his New Edition band mates, that this time he was going to stay in rehab for the full treatment. That’s normally a 90-day program.
“However, after fulfilling his duties for his DUI plea deal, Bobby has decided that he doesn’t need treatment anymore.”
Bobby Brown’s family are now said to be “terrified” that he will start drinking again, and some are said to have questioned whether his intentions to give up alcohol are “genuine”.
The source added: “Bobby’s family and friends are terrified, despite his pleas that he’s sober, that he will fall off the wagon once again.
“They’re not sure if he was ever serious about conquering his demons and have voiced their concerns.
“It’s difficult to believe someone going into rehab for alcohol addiction for such a short time is genuine about giving up drinking.”
Bobby Brown’s wife Alicia Etheridge recently admitted she and his children – three-year-old Cassius from the couple’s relationship, 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina with late ex-wife Whitney Houston, and Landon, 23, La’Princia, 22, and Bobby Jr., 19, with previous partners – were “proud” of the singer for entering rehab.

Now on tour with bandmates New Edition, Bobby Brown, 43, says he is ready to return to his solo career with the album The Masterpiece, due out June 5.
“It’s what I’ve been through throughout my life, and just trying to heal myself through my music,” Bobby Brown said in a recent interview.
The Masterpiece is Bobby Brown’s first album in 14 years. He was a multiplatinum star with New Edition and later developed his solo career. But his well-documented battle with drugs and his legal woes led to his musical decline. His turbulent marriage to Whitney Houston further eroded his image.

In a recent interview with the Today show’s Matt Lauer, Bobby Brown denied that he got his late ex-wife addicted to drugs. Whitney Houston’s career was derailed by her drug use, which came to the public’s attention during her marriage to Bobby Brown. The superstar drowned in February in Beverly Hills, California; her death was complicated by heart disease and cocaine use, according to authorities.
“The Matt Lauer interview was just for me to clear the air about what everyone was feeling about my ex-wife’s death,” the singer said.
Although he was arrested for DUI in March, Bobby Brown insists he has been drug-free for more than seven years. He said his attempt to get his life in order is part of the reason why the album took so long to make.
“When you’re working on yourself, you have to really concentrate on working on yourself and it takes a back seat to what you want to do and what I’m gonna do,” Bobby Brown said.
Bobby Brown says The Masterpiece, which he started working on last year, is “the best album I’ve done so far”.
“But I’m going to do better in the near future,” he said.
“I just want to get back to what I do, which is entertainment, and this is the start to me getting back to what I want to do.”
Bobby Brown is engaged to his manager, Alicia Etheridge, with whom he has a young son. He also has other older children, including 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina, his only child with Whitney Houston.

“I’m happy right now in my life, I’m comfortable with who I am,” he said.
“It’s just better.”

After singing several of his famous songs including My Prerogative, Bobby Brown once again referred to Whitney Houston’s tragic passing.
“I lost three great people in my life in the last year, but nothing makes me happier than to be here with you,” he said.
Some concertgoers believed that Bobby Brown’s onstage appearance so soon after today’s funeral was insensitive.
“I grew up on New Edition, and want to see how Bobby responds,” William McGarrah told USA Today.
“(It was) a little insensitive, and (it) shows how much he needs the money. I thought he would take time off to be with his daughter.”
Bobby Brown it appears spent very little time with his daughter Bobbi Kristina today during and following the funeral for her mother.

In a statement put out by his representative, Bobby Brown said: “My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions.
“I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move,” he said.
The statement went on: “Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene.
“My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honour Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.”
Early reports suggested Bobby Brown, who became divorced from Whitney Houston in 2007, was denied entry to the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey.
Shortly after the service began Bobby Brown was seen leaving the church with a grim expression on his face accompanied by a female companion.
They stood outside for a few moments before getting in to a waiting SUV and drove off.
