Speaking to the June issue of Elle UK magazine, Miley Cyrus insists she and Australian actor Liam Hemsworth are as committed to each other as ever, despite her reluctance to discuss her private life.
Miley Cyrus, 20, admits she has decided to keep their romance away from the spotlight after previously being more open.
Speaking about her June 2012 engagement to Liam Hemsworth, who she has been dating since 2009, Miley Cyrus admitted it felt like a natural progression after moving in together.

Having found fame as a child star, Miley Cyrus admits it is difficult to find real friends she can trust and who befriend her for her personality, not her celebrity persona.
The actress said: “People who grew up without either (money or fame) can get more of a culture shock and go the wrong way. <<Oh my God, I have all this money! How can I spend it? All these people will like me because I’m famous!>>
“I’ve always had people trying to be my friend for the wrong reasons.”

A source told Life & Style magazine: “They were supposed to get married in June.
“But there have been so many problems with them, they thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment.
“They aren’t ready. Their families are both concerned. They don’t want to see Miley and Liam get married and then get divorced. They’re very young to be getting married.”
Liam Hemsworth’s sister-in-law Elsa Pataky, who is married to his brother Chris, 29, confirmed on Monday that she is not sure if their wedding in still on.
Elsa Pataky said: “I don’t know. If they get married it would be nice to go.”
But the 23-year-old’s other brother Luke, 31, recently praised Miley Cyrus, 20, and said she is already part of their family.
Luke Hemsworth told Entertainment Weekly magazine: “She’s great. She loves our kids, and our kids absolutely love her. She won our hearts.
“I find her really interesting. I find her very articulate, and years in maturity above her age.
“But at the same time, she’s very much like Liam.

However, the star admitted she wasn’t totally unprepared.
“I’ve been practicing probably for the past two years, in my own time in my living room,” the singer said.

Miley Cyrus got a new tattoo on her forearm on Friday – a mini replica of Leonardo da Vinci’s anatomical heart drawing.
Celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D did the inking, tweeting the results on her Twitter page.
“Just did the RADDEST tattoo on @MileyCyrus,” she wrote.
“A miniature rendition of a da Vinci anatomical heart!”
The star also posted the original black and white illustration next to the photograph.

Swatting is when an anonymous call is made to get a team of police to storm a building or an innocent person’s home.
Police told ABC News that such incidents were on the rise – even though false calls to emergency services are a crime in California.
An investigation is underway into the incident at Miley Cyrus’s home.
Police said they were tracking the caller. If found, the person will be prosecuted and could face up to a year in jail.
