Leolah Brown has reportedly left the funeral service of her niece Bobbi Kristina Brown after venting anger at the role of another relative, Pat Houston.
The outburst reflects the continuing tensions in Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family even after her death.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, died at a hospice on July 26, six months after she was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub.
She is expected to be buried beside her mother at a cemetery in New Jersey on August 3.
Speaking to media outside the church Bobbi Kristina’s aunt and Bobby Brown’s sister said the funeral was going “wonderfully” well until Pat Houston started speaking.
“I didn’t like that, so I left… I just told her that Whitney is going to haunt her from the grave.”
Pat Houston is Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law and former manager.
Leolah Brown suggested that the feud between the Houstons and the Browns was far from over.
“It’s just getting started,” she said.
The funeral service at St James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, which was closed to the public, lasted about two hours and has now ended.
Those attending Bobbi Kristina Brown’s funeral service included father Bobby Brown; grandmother Cissy Houston; cousin Jerod Brown; Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed and R&B singer Monica.
An initial autopsy found no obvious underlying cause for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death. She was discovered in the bathtub at the Atlanta home she shared with her partner Nick Gordon in January.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s mother, pop icon Whitney Houston, drowned in a bathtub at a Los Angeles hotel in February 2012 on the eve of the Grammy Awards ceremony.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt, Leolah Brown, has given an update on her niece’s condition.

“Please continue to be patient with us. You have no idea how much my brother Bobby and Bobbi Kriss are grateful and appreciate your kind words and prayers! In fact, we are all grateful to Almighty God for allowing us to still have Krissi with us! So with that said, let us keep our hearts and minds on Bobbi Kristina’s complete healing! While continuing in our patience. We love and appreciate you all! May God bless you all for your continued prayers and taking out your precious time to send such wonderful comments! May The Peace Of God Be With You.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, was found facedown and unresponsive on January 31, in an eerily similar manner as her mother, Whitney Houston, who died in February 2012 at the age of 48.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt Leolah Brown claims Nick Gordon is “under investigation for [Bobbi Kristina] attempted murder” in a new open letter criticizing Dr. Phil, who just taped a sit-down with Gordon and his mother.
Leolah Brown posted the message to Dr. Phil on Facebook on March 7.
However, Nick Gordon has not been charged with any crime at this point, nor have officials even laid out the specifics of the investigation into the circumstances leading to Bobbi Kristina Brown’s medical crisis.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, who just turned 22 years old this week, was found face down and unresponsive in her bathtub on January 31. She’s been in a coma ever since.
This past week, Nick Gordon sat down with Dr. Phil for what became an unofficial intervention, during which he expressed suicidal thoughts and after which he reportedly entered rehab for drug abuse.
Leolah Brown wrote to Dr. Phil on Facebook:
Dr. Phil,
With all due respect, Nick Gordon is under investigation for the attempted murder of my niece Bobby Kristina Brown. We have strong evidence of foul play. Until this investigation is completed by law enforcement, I would ask that you or anyone else not provide this individual a platform to spin this situation to his benefit.
If Nick Gordon does not have the courage to speak with my brother Bobby Brown and/or law enforcement about what happened the day my niece’s body was found in a bathtub, he does not deserve to have a platform to speak to anyone of your caliber until this investigation is concluded.
Respectfully,
Leolah Brown
There has been tension between Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family for weeks regarding Gordon’s access to Whitney Houston’s daughter and his cooperation in the investigation.
Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah Brown, has said she believes Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend Nick Gordon will be charged with crime for her niece’s condition.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt told Fox 5 Atlanta that she thinks Nick Gordon will “110 percent” be charged for a crime when the investigation into the mysterious circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s condition is completed.

“I’m not going to make a comment about that, but I believe Nick Gordon will be charged with this,” Leolah Brown said during a 16-minute interview.
“I hope that he will be charged with this, as well. Soon. I really do.”
Nick Gordon and a friend found Bobbi Kristina Brown face down in a bathtub filled with water in her Atlanta-area home on January 31 and rushed her to the hospital, where she has been on life support ever since.
Authorities are investigating Nick Gordon’s possible involvement, as well as injuries found around Bobbi Kristina Brown’s face and mouth.
In a shocking interview on HLN’s Dr. Drew’sshow last night, Leolah Brown, Bobby Brown’ sister, blamed Ray J and Pat Houston for Whitney Houston’s death.
Leolah Brown decided to go on Dr. Drew’s show last night to discuss the Los Angeles coroner’s toxicology report on her former sister-in-law, Whitney Houston.
She made striking claims that Ray-J was Whitney Houston’s “runner boy” for cocaine. Leolah Brown also said she found it suspicious that she saw Ray-J leaving Whitney Houston’s hotel and hiding after her death, when he has never seemed to hide when cameras were around them before.
Bobby Brown’ sister also said she finds it hard to believe Pat Houston, Whitney Houston’ sister-in-law and manager, didn’t know the singer was doing cocaine that day. And as for Leolah Brown’s first thought when she heard the news of Whitney Houston’s death: “Somebody gave her a bad bag!”
Ray-J has put out a statement after this interview saying he was unaware Whitney Houston was using cocaine and he slammed Leolah Brown’s claims. He said he wasn’t even around the day Whitney Houston died as he was in San Diego.

Later in the interview, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s cousins, Jerod Brown & Kelsey Brown, divulged more details about what they felt were odd happenings the day of Whitney Houston’s death.
Jerod Brown said “that guy Nick [Gordon]” came into the hospital soon after they got there to check on Bobbi Kristina during her panic attack and said: “Thanks for coming out.” As if they weren’t supposed to be there.
The cousins also said Gary Houston paid no mind to Bobbi Kristina Brown once she collapsed on the hotel room floor right in front of him. Gary Houston “kept rolling the luggage from the room right past her.”
They also talked about Whitney Houston’s off shore accounts and why Leolah Brown “believes” she has legal guardianship of Bobbi Kristina Brown. .
However, Bobby Brown’s reps have been extra mum on talking about any specifics or any rumors concerning Whitney Houston’s death. They have only put out their own general statements on behalf of Bobby Brown. So there is a chance Bobby Brown knew nothing about this Dr. Drew interview and/or didn’t co-sign it.
