According to new reports, Chris Brown has been accused of being involved in a brawl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on May 2nd.
A man was taken to hospital after a row turned violent on a basketball court at the Palms Casino Resort.
The police have not managed to speak to Chris Brown but have asked him to sign a paper agreeing to a court date in a few months time.
Las Vegas police said Chris Brown is suspected of being involved in the beating of a man on Saturday night.
The man claims Chris Brown punched him and as he defended himself another man who was with the singer also hit him.
Police say they have given Chris Brown the option to sign a “misdemeanor battery citation” which is a form agreeing that he will promise to appear in court, or face prosecution.
Authorities say Chris Brown has not responded yet.
Chris Brown’s publicist has denied the singer was involved in a fight.
Nicole Perna said that: “Chris is currently in Las Vegas. He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play.
“An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises.”
“Chris was not in an altercation with this person.”
Chris Brown has been in trouble with the police a lot over recent years.

Celine Dion is set for Las Vegas return, a year after she put her career on hold “indefinitely” for health and family reasons.
The Canadian singer cancelled all performances from August last year after her husband, Rene Angelil, was diagnosed with throat cancer for the second time.
“It was Rene’s wish that I come back,” Celine Dion wrote in a statement.
“While my family will always be my priority, my fans are just as important to me.”
Celine Dion, 46, will be back on stage at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on August 27. She last performed there on July 29, 2014.
She has been married to Rene Angelil, who is also her manager, since 1994. They have three children together.
“I look forward to performing again for all of you… and more importantly having Rene there with me,” Celine Dion’s statement continued.
“Thank you for giving me this time I needed to spend with my family.”
In an interview with Good Morning America, Celine Dion revealed she had been feeding Rene Angelil, 73, through a tube since his surgery to have a cancerous tumor removed in December 2013.
“Rene could not talk and he could not swallow; the surgery was major,” she said.
“I feed him three times a day, I do it myself.”
Celine Dion previously took a two-year hiatus from 2000 to 2002 to help care for her husband, when he was initially diagnosed with throat cancer.
The singer has become a regular fixture in Las Vegas, having performed a near five-year residency there from 2003 to 2007.
Her current residency began in 2011. Although it was originally billed as a three-year event, it was extended through to 2019 last year.
It has been confirmed Celine Dion will resume her residency with 40 performances, to take place between August 2015 and January 2016.

The incident happened just moments after Hillary Clinton took the stage Thursday at an Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries meeting at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino.
Hillary Clinton, 66, ducked, but did not appear to be struck by the flying object. She quickly joked about the incident.

Ilene Rosen, a witness and the wife of a conventioneer, told the Associated Press the unidentified object-thrower walked down the aisle and got roughly six rows from the front of the seating area when she threw the object.
The woman then turned around, threw her hands in the air and walked toward the back of the room before ushers surrounded her, Ilene Rosen said.
Security officers escorted the woman out of the room. She said she threw a shoe but didn’t identify herself to reporters or explain why she did it.
Mark Johnston, who lost $500,000 at a Las Vegas casino, says he should not have to pay because he was too drunk.
The 52-year-old Californian businessman has sued the Downtown Grand for serving him drinks and lending him money while he says he was clearly intoxicated.
Mark Johnston arrived at the casino on January 30 and played at the tables for 17 hours.
Under Nevada law, patrons who are visibly drunk are not meant to gamble.
The casino, which has not commented, reportedly intends to legally pursue Mark Johnston for the debt.

He says the Downtown Grand served him 20 alcoholic beverages during his gambling session, on top of about 10 drinks he had consumed before even arriving at the casino.
“Look, I had some drinks at the airport,” he told CNN.
“I had a drink on the plane. You know, at some point that’s my responsibility, OK.
“But the unfortunate part about it for them [the casino] is that they have a more, bigger responsibility than I do.”
Mark Johnston added: “Just picture a drunk walking down the street and somebody goes up and just pickpockets him. That’s how I characterize it.”
His lawyer, Sean Lyttle, told the Associated Press news agency it was an “extraordinary case”.
“Someone was blackout intoxicated where they couldn’t read their cards, and yet a casino continued to serve them drinks and issue them more markers,” he said.
Sean Lyttle said his client had put a stop-payment order on the markers issued by the Downtown Grand, and was also seeking damages from the casino for sullying his name.
The Nevada gaming control board is said to be investigating the matter.
