Kris Jenner develops a morbid obsession with her family’s unfinished funeral arrangements this week after spending time with her ageing mother.
What starts off as a time for planning the happy arrival of a new life, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s at-the-time unborn daughter Penelope, quickly turns into a week spent in cemeteries and funeral homes to the horror of the Kardashian clan.
Kris Jenner’ focus on the impending death of all those around her even ends with the premature passing of a couple of unsuspecting pet fish.
The episode begins with Kim and Khloe Kardashian deciding to buy a pet for Mason after Kim has the idea that she wants to get a present for her little nephew, as Kourtney is worried about his reaction to the impending arrival of his baby sister.
The sisters decide on fish and arrive at the Kardashian-Disick house with a couple of pet fishies much to Mason’s delight and apathy of parents Scott and Kourtney.
“Are you going to come and feed them every day?” Scott Disick gripes.
“I’m not a pet person,” Kourtney Kardashian says.
“I don’t want pets until my kids are old enough to ask for one.”
But after seeing her son’s happy face she concedes: “If it brings Mason joy, it makes me happy.”
But over at the Jenner household, meanwhile Kris is worried about her impending death.
A spell with her mother and the realization that there is no room for her in her parents’ burial plot has prompted her to start fretting over her own funeral arrangements.
Kris Jenner broaches the subject with Bruce after her mother suggests Kris should look into a family plot at a celeb-filled Hollywood cemetery.
“You should all be buried next to Marilyn Monroe,” she crows.
“You could be part of a tour!”

Kris Jenner decides to call a family meeting to discuss the ideal resting place for the clan should the unthinkable happen but while the mother-of-six tries to get the family to discuss its burial wishes – Robert, Khloe, Kim, Kendall, Kylie – and even Bruce – are having none of it.
Addressing the group she says: “If something happens to me, you’re going to be hopefully sad about it and you’re not going to make the right decision.”
But the remark has Khloe and Rob choking back laughter, while Kylie keeps her head down and texts furiously.
“There’s a lot to do and I want to make sure everything’s organized if something happens to one of my family members,” Kris Jenner reasons.
Kim Kardashian is also baffled with her mother’s topic of conversation: “What’s the right decision?
“You get in a coffin, you get in the ground – what do you want me to do?!” she asks impatiently in the preview clip from the upcoming show.
“Tell me what color [casket] you want? Do you want Tempur-pedic? And what kind of pillow-top?”
Undeterred, Kris Jenner launches into the importance of a family burial plot, but Khloe Kardashian can’t help but take another jab at her business-minded mother.
“Hey go into the funeral business! There you could extort us,” she mocks.
“Let’s make some commissions on those plots, baby!” she says as she high-fives Rob.
Eerily, soon after this morbid meeting, Khloe Kardashian looks in on the new pets and discovers that one of Mason’s fish has met with a premature end.
Kourtney Kardashian is vindicated saying: “I had a dog that died when I was little. I was completely traumatized and that’s why I hate dogs now.”
Fearing the psychological the fish’s death will have on her young son, Kourtney Kardashian insists on taking a photo of the dead pet and rushes out to a local pet store to buy an exact replica before Mason notices much to the amusement of her sisters.
Undeterred by the lack of family support, Kris Jenner has arranged for a tour of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, one the oldest in Los Angeles and resting place of Tinseltown luminaries including Cecil B DeMille, Douglas Fairbanks and Rudolph Valentino.
While discussing the options with long-suffering husband Bruce, Kris Jenner asks him: “Do you think I should be above ground? You can go underneath me.”
To which the former Olympian quips: “No! I’ve been there enough! I want to be on to this time.”
Khloe Kardashian – who is still treating the whole affair as a joke – tells the cemetery owner: “We want a private lake with a mausoleum and a moat [with] a drawbridge so no-one can steal the bodies.”
Kim Kardashian on the other hand is beginning to see her mother’s point: “Why not have a fab resting place?” she muses.
When Kourtney Kardashian calls later to say that another fish has died and instructs Kim to go and find a replacement, Bruce decides that the time has come to for Mason to be introduced to the concepts of death and heaven.
After he brings over a book called Dog Heaven for Mason, Kourtney Kardashian realizes that the little boy is totally unfazed by the fish’s demise and by the time Scott returns has disposed of the pet and tank.
“Fish are too hard to take care of,” she wails.
“We take care of a child,” he retorts.
“It’s not that hard.”
Having solved the problem of location, Kris Jenner has now moved on the subject of caskets and brings Khloe, Kim and Rob along to give some coffins a test run.
The mother-of-six even goes so far as to climbing into on and posing as a corpse for a photo to the horror of her children as they are suddenly faced with a vision of the mother’s death.
Kim Kardashian, unfazed by her mother’s morbidity, returns to Kris Jenner’s office for a frozen yoghurt and before long the pair are musing as to who will take responsibility for Kourtney’s children if she were to pass away unexpectedly.
Over a conference call, Kourtney Kardashian announces curtly: “I’ve thought about it and I think Khloe is the best fit… I’ve already asked her.”
Leaving Kim stunned, hurt and storming out of the room.
Later Kim Kardashian is still upset about the fact that she has not been chosen to be Mason’s guardian and confronts Khloe about it.
“I don’t see why Kourtney thinks you are the better aunt when I spend more time with Mason,” she whines.
Later Khloe reports back to Kourtney and tells her that Kim is angry.
“I’m surprised that Kim has been lashing out at Khloe,” Kourtney Kardashian says.
“I had no idea that she’d even be interested in taking on Mason…. She has no clue what is involved. She’s never home!”
When Kim Kardashian comes over the following day to play with Mason, Kourtney asks her if she’d like to babysit giving Kim the opportunity to confront her over the issue.
Kourtney Kardashian tries to explain her decision saying: “You’re always traveling and Khloe makes dinner every night…..I just feel you’re really all about Kim,” she finally admits.
Kim Kardashian ends up storming out of the house with the words: “So rude!”
“Yeah, I don’t have kids right now,” Kim Kardashian retorts later.
“But I could adjust. The fact that she says I’m all about myself…It’s really hard to hear that’s what Kourtney thinks of me.”
Kris Jenner is now busy ordering a variety of floral arrangements so that the family members can choose the flowers they would like best at their funerals, a move that prompts Rob and Khloe to call time out on their mother’s research.
Over drinks they explain to Kris Jenner how uncomfortable the funeral discussions have been making them – in particular Kris’s coffin testing.
“She needs to understand that we’ve already lost a parent and we don’t want to think about losing another one,” Khloe Kardashian says.
Later, in an attempt to make peace Kourtney visits Kim at home to settle the issue of Mason’s guardianship.
“I think you’re a great aunt to Mason,” she reasons.
“But I had to chose someone.”
Kim Kardashian replies: “I just wish that you’r talked to me about it – you knew I’d find out eventually.”
Kourtney Kardashian then pacifies her indignant sister by offering her the responsibility for Mason’s financial affairs in the event of her and Scott Disick’s death: “Because I know you’re good with that kind of thing.”
This seems to have the desired effect as Kim Kardashian goes on to boast about how she has now been put in charge of the two-year-old’s fiscal future.
Finally in an effort to get Kris Jenner to put a lid on her funeral planning Rob organizes a party for his mother and her friends at a winery in Malibu to celebrate her life.
While his mom trills with pleasure he unveils a new tattoo – a portrait of Kris Jenner on his forearm to show his appreciation for his mother.
“Are you ready to start enjoying life and stop focussing on your funeral now?” he asks.
“I’m definitely going to live in the moment,” she says.

A source has claimed that “momager” Kris Jenner, 56, helped to set up the sale of the video which led to 31-year-old Kim Kardashian’s fame.
The insider allegedly claimed to Star Magazine via Radar Online: “Kris was totally involved in arranging the sale of Kim’s tape.
“The video already existed, and Kris was there every step of the way as a middleman brought in to market it to an adult entertainment company.”

The source also alleged that Kris Jenner was delighted when she found out the tape, released by adult company Vivid Entertainment, was titled Kim Kardashian, Superstar.

And they added that Kris Jenner allegedly received a hefty pay out for the sale of the video.
The source claimed: “I saw Kris Jenner’s signature on the contract; I believe she got somewhere between $250,000 and $500,000 for the original deal with the middleman.”
Kim Kardashian had filmed the tape three years earlier when she was 23, and Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered eight months after its release.
And the source alleged to the publication that it was all part of the plan for Kris Jenner.
They claimed: “Everything she does in this world, every decision she makes on her daughters’ behalf, is based on greed and publicity. And has nothing to do with her family’s stability or happiness.”
Star Magazine claims that the source passed a polygraph test while making the allegations.
Back in June reports emerged that Kris Jenner had allegedly instructed Kim Kardashian to make the video even had her re-shoot it because the first take wasn’t “pretty enough”.

As the designated driver for the night, a sober Khloe appeared to be having fun through her tipsy parent, judging by her series of tweets.

The girls urged their mother to take a lie detector test to prove her meeting with Todd Waterman meant nothing. Kris Jenner passed the test.
Since then, Kris Jenner told Us Weekly she and Bruce have managed to put the incident behind them.

After last week’s episode saw Kris and Bruce Jenner on the verge on splitting up, Keeping Up With Kardashians focused on those crazy kids trying to get their parents back together.
On last week’s episode Bruce Jenner found a new golf partner in Angie Everhart.
Bruce Jenner told his wife he loved playing golf with the model, and Kris became green.
Still, Angie Everhart and Bruce Jenner continued to flirt wildly and Kris spotted them in the act as she and daughter Kim Kardashian spied from a golf cart.
Kris Jenner then set up a meeting with former toyboy, Todd Waterman, who she had enjoyed an affair with while married to her childrens’ father Robert Kardashian.
But when cheeky Todd Waterman asked what room they were in and if Kris Jenner was “tipsy yet” before suggesting shots during their meeting, Kris quickly realizes that the grass isn’t greener.
She comes away thinking she made the right decision, and decides it’s Bruce she loves.
The matriarch then wakes Bruce up to tell her how she feels, he’s grumpy to be disturbed and even more annoyed when told: “Tonight is the night that I had to meet up with Todd again.”
Kris Jenner then added: “I may have been fantasising about someone for 25 years who didn’t justify it.”
“What an idiot you are, I don’t know if I can even trust you,” Bruce Jenner understandably yells back at her.
Kris Jenner remains stunned that her husband is not understanding about her secret meet up, however.
She tries to explain why meeting with Todd Waterman has given her a new perspective on him and, it should be good news for Bruce Jenner.

When the time comes to confess to her daughters, Kris Jenner cruelly tells pregnant Kourtney Kardashian to leave the room but her sisters rail against it and the eldest daughter remains.

Kourtney Kardashian then adds that she feels like her mother is lying about the outcome, and her other daughters chime in with their disapproval, Kim suggests a lie detector test.

To find out such edifying details, the girls enlist a polygraph specialist called Joseph who has worked with “the Kennedys and the CIA”.
When they tell an obviously rattled Bruce Jenner, he confides in the girls that just after he married Kris she told him: “Never trust me.”
Bruce Jenner therefore thinks the test is a great idea, and is keen to hear the results… the girls joke that their mother will “enjoy the attention”.

And it’s of course a “no” to being “in love with Todd Waterman”, and another negative as to whether an affair is on the cards.
The affair question causes a bump on the test, but Joseph explains it is most likely the emotion of a memory recalled and Kris Jenner is judged as passing the test.
Kris Jenner high fives her delighted daughters, but Bruce is still unconvinced.
He wants answers about the meeting, and he says he saw the needle bouncing around.
The man of the house even yells “whopee” sarcastically after Kris Jenner pleads that the dinner made her feel better so he should be pleased.
The children make up their minds to send the parents to a beach house Malibu (after deciding they need to get away from the drab reality of their multi-million dollar mansion).
But their relationship is as rocky as the coastline… even there.
Until, that is, Kim Kardashian sends a book of photographs charting their relationship in photographs jolts them into a realization.
The pair agrees to get their relationship back on track, before enjoying a romantic sunset.

Long suffering Bruce Jenner, 62, for his part, had been enjoying winding his wife up about his golfing sessions with red-headed supermodel Angie Everhart, 42.

But after running into gorgeous Angie Everhart, who Kim Kardashian described as looking like the titular character Ariel from Disney’s Little Mermaid, he was soon setting up a golf date.
When he returned from the course, Bruce Jenner told a clearly rattled Kris that Angie Everhart is a “great golfer” and adds that “she got me on the last hole”.
Livid Kris Jenner snapped that she doesn’t know what that means then asked for her dry cleaning, which Bruce realized he forgot.
As he ran out of the door to get it, a furious Kris Jenner yells: “You f****** forgot my dry cleaning, thanks for thinking of me today.”

Lamar Odom is keen to have Rob Kardashian back at the crib but notes: “Sometimes Rob can be a little disrespectful without even knowing it.”
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian has been summoned to see her mother, who announces that: “Bruce has a major mad crush on Angie Everhart.”
Kris Jenner tells her daughter that her husband’s golf partner is hot and that it’s “really starting to bug her”.
It appears she wants to enlist her daughter to do some sleuthing and Kim Kardashian is keen but tells her mother that she must: “Buy some lingerie, do what you got to do.”
Kim Kardashian then remarks to camera: “I don’t think Bruce would cheat on my mom is so crazy she’s probably not giving it up so we need to do something.”
Thus Operation Angie Everhart is born, and the mother and daughter spy team hurtle around Calabasas Country Club trying to catch a glimpse of Bruce and Angie.
When they find them, Kris Jenner is devastated that Bruce looks so happy with Angie Everhart and loses it when she sees him slip an arm around the younger woman.
When Kris Jenner says: “He never looks that happy with me,” Kim Kardashian offers the comforting words: “It’s because you’re so boring and you’ve been married for 21 years.”

The action cuts to a charity fundraiser where Kris Jenner says tells her friends she will meet Todd Waterman if Bruce is going to foster this friendship.

They gasp and attempt to clarify: “Without Bruce?” and she replies with a resounding “yes”.

Scott Disick was upset when Bruce Jenner introduced him as his friend earlier in the episode as they went with his son Brendan to race cars.
Scott Disick disappeared without warning in the middle of the outing and after they found out he has left, Bruce Jenner complained: “I went out on a limb to get him here.”
The bitching went back and forth as both men spoke about each other behind their backs the more and more they seemed to annoy each other during the break.
Scott Disick wasn’t the only one whose feathers Bruce Jenner seemed to ruffle.
He went out of his way to find Kim Kardashian a date causing her to eventually put her foot down.
Kim Kardashian agreed to go play a game of golf with him although she was unaware of Bruce Jenner’s plans. Instructor Eric, and Kim Kardashian suitor helped her perfect her technique as Bruce Jenner was visibly excited.
The only people that seemed to be having fun on the break were the young girl Kylie and Kendall and their friends, who created a tribe with Khloe.
However Kris Jenner complained that she could no longer wear shoes because her toe was broken thanks to them trying to sacrifice her as part of their game.
She shouted: “They dragged me down two flights of stairs, broke my toe and threw me in a pool!”
Kris Jenner came under fire this week after Kim Kardashian told Oprah Winfrey her mother put her on birth control at the tender age of 14.
Kris Jenner is now defending her actions, saying her liberal parenting ways were a strategy to “protect” her kids.
She admits she felt no hesitation putting “all” of her girls on the birth control pill as soon as they expressed an interest in sex.
“You want to protect your kids,” Kris Jenner tells TV personality Bethenny Frankel, in an interview which will air on Monday.

“What I did as a parent with all my girls, when I felt like it was that time in their life that they were going to that step… I drove as fast as I could to the gynecologist’s office,” she says.

“You can try and talk your kids out of [having sex], but unless you lock your child in the closet and throw the key away, they’re going to do what they feel,” she says.
“So my philosophy has also been make sure your kids are healthy, well taken care of and educated.”

Kris Jenner and her daughter Kourtney Kardashian fought it out on latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, when Kourtney struggled to forgive her mother for cheating on her late father Robert.
Kourtney Kardashian, 32, even made a scathing remark at a lunch, when they discussed Kris Jenner’s recent meeting with a contestant from The Voice at an event.
She provoked a negative reaction when she asked Kris Jenner: “Did you bone him in the bathroom?”
Kourtney Kardashian added: “It’s not like that’s stopped you before,” in reference to Kris Jenner’s confession in her new book, in which she revealed that she had cheated on Kourtney’s father.
“Sometimes you can be really rude,” Kris Jenner pointed out as she tried to shift the subject and ignore her daughter’s resentment toward her.
Although she set aside the matter, Kourtney Kardashian brought the topic up again at another lunch with sister Kim, and when her younger sibling suggested confronting their mother about her resentment, she refused to make it that easy for the matriarch, saying: “I would rather die.”
Kim Kardashian confided in Khloe – who was at the time residing in Texas with husband Lamar Odom – about the ongoing spat via a video call.
As the matter was obviously effecting the whole clan, Khloe Kardashian agreed that Kourtney should learn to forgive.

Later Bruce Jenner found his wife hiding out in the backyard cabana and convinced her to spill the beans about what was bothering her.
Tears began to roll as she told him that it “honestly broke her heart” that her children were still hurt that she made a bad decision.
It was the first time Kris Jenner appeared to crack, but she admitted that if she didn’t have the courage to go astray with the affair, her youngest children Kylie and Kendall, and her husband would not be with her today.
The fact that Kris Jenner wasn’t as tough as she appeared hadn’t escaped Kourtney though and she began to soften up in an iChat conversation with Khloe.
She admitted that lately she had been meaner to Kris but that she couldn’t help it.
So she planned to go to therapy to deal with her issues thanks to advice from Khloe.
Her therapist Erica concluded that because Koutney was pregnant with a girl, she was especially emotional as the bond between mother and daughter is the strongest and she was subconsciously worried about disappointing her own little girl.
Kourtney Kardashian herself then broke down as she went over the details in her mother’s memoir and said: “I could never do that to my family.”
She admitted that she didn’t care about the fact that the world knows their family secrets, but she couldn’t see where Kris Jenner was coming from.
However, it emerged that because she had trust issues with her own partner Scott Disick, it made it more real for her as her mother chose to go down the unfaithful route at a time that was so crucial for her.
She finally opened up to Scott Disick about her family problems following the consultation.
Meanwhile, Kris Jenner’s plan to win Kourtney over wasn’t working as she decided to buy an early baby shower gift.
Kourtney Kardashian saw through her stunt and refused to open the adorable gift for her little girl at first.
Instead she said that she had gone to therapy after getting worried about the number of rude comments she had been making towards the woman that brought her into the world.
Her mother was shocked but thought it was fabulous that she told her.
“I’m going to communicate more about what I’m annoyed about instead of getting mad at you. Thank you for my present. I love it. I love you,” Kourtney Kardashian said before they enjoyed an embrace.
Elsewhere in the episode, Kim Kardashian and her younger siblings Kendall and Kylie Jenner spent some girly time together applying fake eyelashes.
Ever the joker, Kim Kardashian tricked them into thinking they had glued her eyes shut.
Also, the girls were thrilled to have landed jobs as West Coast fashion contributors to Seventeen magazine.
But they had problems with the fact that part of their job would be to approach strangers, in the street.
The girls headed out to a shopping mall and approached some women, but while younger Kylie was more confident about the task, Kendall quickly ran away biting her nails.
“It’s so annoying to work with you. Stand up and be professional,” the 14-year-old demanded from Kendall, 16.
The model retorted: “Just because I’m shy doesn’t mean I’m not professional. That had nothing to do with it, you don’t say that.”
When Kylie confided in Kim that she had to do that whole job alone, Kim agreed that it was annoying, but helped her see Kendall’s side because she also was shy when competing with outspoken Kourtney and Khloe as youngsters.
Kim Kardashian tagged along for their next outing to help Kendall come out of her shell.
Their older sister stood to the side as they approached young girls in a parking lot.
Kim and Kylie both gave Kendall words of support, and by the end of the day she admitted it wasn’t as hard as she thought it would be.
Spending even more time together, Kim, Kendall and Kylie went on a hike with Bruce Jenner and the girls freaked out over a spider, which he picked up and tried to scare them with.
They jumped in the car and left him with their dogs because they were not impressed with the funnyman.
They made the Olympic medal winner run home, which started a war between the group.
At dinner the fun and games continued as he threw an insect contained in a cup at her prompting Kim Kardashian to remove her clothes and leave the house almost in tears.
The next day they planned to scare Bruce Jenner and so with the help of half-brother Brandon, they devised a plan to steal the Ferrari, which Kim had a spare key to.
Brandon headed to the Go-Kart track with his dad and Kim and Scott secretly followed in a separate vehicle.
They watched in delight as he squirmed thinking the expensive car had been stolen before appearing in front of the worried father and revealed he was the subject of a joke for once.

After reading the letter Khloe Kardashian sticks by her decision not to take the test saying: “I don’t need someone to tell me who my family is. I have had the blessing of having two phenomenal fathers. I don’t need a DNA test to prove who my father is.”
Mother and daughter make up and agree to drop the matter and forget about it.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom had to deal with a very sensitive issue on the season finale of their reality show as she began worrying after a story emerged in the press that there was a chance Robert Kardashian is not her biological father.
While her sisters Kim and Kourtney attempted to help by suggesting Khloe Kardashian get a DNA test to give her peace of mind, it only made matters worse.
Kim phoned Khloe to make her aware that Robert Kardashian’s ex-wives were claiming Khloe’s father, who was OJ Simpson’s lawyer, had told them she is not his biological daughter before he died.
Khloe Kardashian, 27, then turned to brother Rob for help, who made a cruel joke by pretending the pair’s mother Kris Jenner had called a family meeting and admitted she had “made a mistake as a mother”.
When Khloe Kardashian became furious at the prank, Rob said: “For you to think that you’re not related to us – that’s ridiculous.”
The next day, Khloe Kardashian received a phone call from Kourtney, who told her: “I was talking to Kim and we were saying why don’t we just get a DNA test?”

However a preview for an upcoming episode of the clan’s family show Keeping Up With The Kardashians suggests the brood decide to all take a DNA test to offer Khloe Kardashian resolve.
The season finale of Khloe & Lamar, which will now take a hiatus so that Lamar Odom can concentrate on his basketball career, also saw the sports star manage to open up to his wife about the grief of his cousin’s murder.
Khloe Kardashian co-hosted The Talk where she received some romantic gifts from Lamar as a thank you, as well as a bizarre visit from a giraffe.
Lamar Odom told the cameras: “I’m just happy that I’ve got someone like Khloe to get me through the trying times.”
And Khloe added: “I married my true soulmate.”
