Jennie Garth revealed how co-star Tori Spelling felt when Ian Ziering called her brutally honest True Tori reality series a trainwreck
Jennie Garth explained: “On one hand, he does love Tori in the way we all love each other and the bond that we all share. It was a little harsh – just the words <<How do you not watch a trainwreck?>>.”
“I know that that really hurt Tori – because people can take that in a very wrong way. But her reality show wasn’t for everyone,” she continued.
“And for me, it was hard to watch just because I love her so much. It was so hard for me to see that kind of position she was in.”
Jennie Garth continues to open up about ending her marriage to Peter Facinelli, and how she eventually picked herself up again.
Jennie Garth, 41, told Access Hollywood in a March 6 interview: “I think that for anybody that’s going through bad times in their life, it’s really important to let yourself just fall apart – it’s the putting yourself back together that’s really important.”
“And [not] just being able to put yourself back together, but to pick up each piece of you and look at it and put it back the way you want it – and not just the way it went,” the actress continued.
“You know, kind of re-put yourself back together in a new way – [that’s] a good goal.”
Jennie Garth continues to open up about ending her marriage to Peter Facinelli
After announcing their separation in March 2012, Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli, 38, finalized their divorce in June 2013 after 11 years of marriage.
Since then, Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli have both stepped back into the dating game.
“I have been dating, yeah,” Jennie Garth told Access Hollywood.
“I’ve had some great experiences with some really great men.”
The actress recently split from boyfriend Michael Shimbo last November after several months of dating.
Jennie Garth has also been linked to photographer Noah Abrams and musician Jeremy Salken.
Peter Facinelli, meanwhile, has been dating Jaimie Alexander since November 2012.
Jennie Garth’s ex-husband Peter Facinelli and new girlfriend Jaimie Alexander arrived at the premiere of the comedy-crime movie Pain & Gain holding hands on Monday.
Peter Facinelli, 39, wore a dashing light gray suit with an open-collared white dress shirt to watch the film, which is about bodybuilders who turn to crime.
Jaimie Alexander, 29, radiated sophistication in a striking red dress featuring a black fringed hemline that fell just above the knee.
Peter Facinelli and Jaimie Alexander smiled together for photographs upon their arrival and also went solo on the red carpet for the cameras.

Jaimie Alexander and Peter Facinelli first began dating last year just months after he ended his marriage to Jennie Garth.
Peter Facinelli first became known as the star of Fox’s 2002 TV series Fastlane.
He gained a bigger audience for his portrayal of vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight movie franchise.
Jaimie Alexander portrayed Jessi on the ABC Family TV series Kyle XY and Asgardian warrior Sif in the 2011 superhero movie Thor.
Pain & Gain features Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Rebel Wilson.
The movie is scheduled for wide release on April 26.
Jennie Garth is dating Jeremy Salken, drummer for the electronic band, Big Gigantic.
Jeremy Salken, 31, may be a decade younger than Jennie Garth but the couple have been going strong since October according to People magazine.
They spent New Year’s Eve together, and Jennie Garth, 40, wanted to shout it from the rooftop by sharing an intimate picture of the two of them with the caption: “It’s on…New Years with my jewboo.”
Jennie Garth’s husband, the father of her three daughters, Peter Facinelli filed for divorce last March.
Peter Facinelli is now dating actress Jaimie Alexander, 28.
Jennie Garth – who dropped 30 pounds following her split after 11 years of marriage last March – admitted she struggled to move on.
The actress told Health magazine: “When I’m in excruciating pain, like with what I’ve been through with my breakup and that grief and loss that’s just immobilizing, it helps to remember that it only lasts for 13 to 15 minutes, max. And then it’s over.
“Your mind is ready to go to something else. You might come back to it, but it helps to just know that that pain is not going to last forever.”

Jennie Garth – who previously admitted it “stings” to see Peter Facinelli with his new girlfriend Jaimie Alexander – also revealed that she was feeling great about her new trim figure.
But the mother-of-three – who shares three daughters Luca, 15, Lola, 10, and Fiona, six, with Peter Facinelli – claims she has never felt better.
She said: “Every day, I just renew my healthy choices. I feel really good about myself now, and I don’t want to do anything to change that
“My biggest regret is putting my body through fad diets: Atkins, cleanses, the HCG diet.
“I lost like 18 pounds, but it came right back.
“The worst was fasting with colonics for three or four days. It was the most horrifying experience ever!”
Following her March split with Peter Facinelli after 17 years of marriage, Jennie Garth cut a noticeably slimmer figure.
Now Jennie Garth has revealed the full extent of her weight loss.
Jennie Garth, 40, says that she has lost a staggering “30lbs of dead weight” from her frame.
In a new interview with People magazine, Jennie Garth says her body transformation came when she realized she had became a shadow of her former self.
The actress explains that her union with Peter Facinelli was suffering long before they announced their break-up in March, and it was deeply affecting her appearance.
“I spent a couple of years lying in bed being depressed,” she tells the magazine.
“It was that <<I can’t breathe>> pain.
“Physically I didn’t look my best, and mentally I didn’t feel my best. I was doing everything I could to be a good mom, but that was all I could handle.”
Jennie Garth says she was finally motivated to do something about it when she saw a home video of herself.
“We were dancing to Wii and I didn’t know I was being filmed by my nephew,” she explains.
The actress says she was “stunned” by the “depressed person” she saw on camera.
“I didn’t even know that person. I’m such a different person now.”
Following the end of her marriage, the actress hid herself away on her Californian ranch in Santa Ynez, with her three girls Luca, 14, Lola, nine, and Fiona, five.
But after celebrating her 40th birthday, Jennie Garth realized that she could no longer be a hermit.
“I just looked at it like there’s no way I can hide out in the country and never work again, never love again and never laugh again,” she says.
It was then that Jennie Garth, famous for her role as Kelly Taylor on the hit Nineties TV series Beverly Hills 90210, moved back to Los Angeles and got busy.
With the help of a personal trainer and a healthy diet, Jennie Garth dropped 30 lbs.
She credit her weight loss to a combination of eating smaller portions, consisting of a diet of Greek yoghurt, salads, salmon and coconut water, and an exercise regime of lightweight gym training twice a week, hiking and personal training sessions.
And she says that she didn’t push herself, gently losing 1-2 lbs a week over the course of six months.
Staying focused, Jennie Garth also tried not to think about the emotional things going on in her life.
“Sitting around on the couch eating Pringles all day is not going to help anyone,” she laughs.
While she is enjoying her new life and “not pining” for Peter Facinelli, she admits that her heart still sinks when she sees happy couples and families out and about.
“I go out, and I see happy families – and men and women out on dates – and there’s a part of me that’s like, <<Ouch!>> But you have to pick yourself up and say <<Let’s go!>>” she says.
The actress has recently just plunged back into the dating pool, and despite being spotted out on a date with handsome photographer Noah Abrams, she reveals that she is still single.
She admits that the whole dating game is nerve-racking.
“Sometimes it feels awkward, and sometimes it feels really natural. I just want to love and be loved,” she explains.
Jennie Garth just recently wrapped The Eleventh Hour, a Lifetime movie adaptation of CNN correspondent Nancy Grace’s novel.
Jennie Garth recently split from her husband Peter Facinelli after 11 years of marriage.
And since the couple announced their break-up, Jennie Garth, 40, has lost a significant amount of weight, with many conceding that she may well be another victim of the “heartbreak diet”.
And the extent of her weight loss was all too evident over the weekend, when the actress slipped into a yellow bikini to party at the Palazzo Resort & Casino Labor Day Celebration in Las Vegas.
Jennie Garth revealed a slightly protruding ribcage as she bared her torso in her two-piece attire.
With hardly an inch to pinch on the star, the blonde beauty appears to be at her slimmest.

The newly single star had a ball at the event, lapping up the attention she was getting from numerous muscle-bound hunks.

Flashing her wide smile, the pair chatted away as they enjoyed some refreshing drinks in the sun.
Jennie Garth stayed in the water for most of the day, dancing to tunes played by a DJ poolside and enjoying some girly time with friends.
At one point she took a break from the sun and hopped inside the DJ booth with fellow actor Danny Masterson, who had been spinning records throughout the day.
Earlier in the afternoon, Jennie Garth posed on the red-carpet wearing a sexy black crochet cover all over her yellow bikini.
Jennie Garth’s daughters – 15-year-old Luca, nine-year-old Lola and five-year-old Fiona – are in Hawaii with their father, Peter Facinelli, so the former 90210 star is enjoying some grown up time.
The newly single mother-of-three just began dating photographer Noah Abrams, who’s shot for Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Sports Illustrated, and GQ.
According to People Magazine, Noah Abrams, 33, hunk is currently directing a documentary about the Black Keys and compared the project to “a buddy comedy with the greatest soundtrack of all time” in Spin Magazine.

Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli’s joint statement to press revealing they had decided to end their marriage appeared like the decision was mutual.
But yesterday Peter Facinelli has filed divorce papers on the same day a new interview was published with Jennie Garth saying she never wanted to split up.
Peter Facinelli cited “irreconcilable differences” in the papers filed at L.A. County Superior Court yesterday.
The actor has made the first steps to end their marriage legally on the very day Jennie Garth has said she “won’t give up on him”.
Speaking to People magazine about the split, Jennie Garth said: “I was very resistant. I didn’t want it to happen.
“He did what he needed to do. I don’t want to walk for him. Or Do I? Of course I wish he had wanted to try harder, try again, try something else.”
Peter Facinelli has filed divorce papers on the same day a new interview was published with Jennie Garth saying she never wanted to split up
At the time of the split earlier this month reports claimed that Peter Facinelli was having an affair although the pair strongly denied that there was a third party involved branding the claims “hurtful”.
But there’s no doubt that the split took its toll on Jennie Garth who said she was shocked when her husband told her their marriage was over.
While Jennie Garth admits that the couple had been in counseling several times and also reveals that there was “jealously” within the relationship the split hit her hard.
Jennie Garth told People magazine: “You get the rug pulled from under you.”
The actress added: “I would take the girls to school, then go back and get into bed and not get up again until it was time to pick them up from school, and I had to pretend everything was fine.”
After Peter Facinelli told Jennie Garth he wanted a divorce there didn’t seem a right time to reveal the news – the pair kept the information to themselves until it became too much to bear.
In the end, Jennie Garth told the magazine, she couldn’t face telling the children herself and left Peter and her therapist to break the news to their three daughters Luca Bella, 14, Lola Ray, 9, and Fiona Eve, 5.
“I just held them. They cried. I cried. It was really hard,” Jennie Garth explained.
Jennie Garth met Peter Facinelli while filming An Unfinished Affair in 1996 and the couple had Luca Bella the following year.
Earlier this week Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli were seen taking their daughters out on a shopping trip – but the awkward situation was obvious given their body language.
After five years together, Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli married and went on to have two more daughters.
This is Jennie Garth’s second marriage to end in divorce – from 1994 to 1996 the actress was married to Daniel Clark.
